Asceric is a believer as any of us are.  Don't underestimate faith and the will to succeed.

Non believers and dumpers can step aside, fall to the backburner while the professionals get to work.

48 hour developments-
1) 5/27/14-Liberty Day announcement and Press Release by IE (I've already created 10 addresses to send XLB, print on a card to give to my 10 closest people on this day, 1K each)
1) XLB Facebook page launch (we will need Linkedin and Instagram).  I ask you all to start posting photos/photoshops with anything relevant to XLB on the forum
2) Multipool bounty
3) Work in progress by DEV TBD (since we shouldn't give the copycats a chance to follow suit, let's just execute)
4) XLB Website Revamp
5) Member Daredev offering help to DEV to build a Coinbase/Bitpay for XLB to build a recurring payment/subscription model
6) Troiste's escort bounty when we reach .01 BTC (All kinds of wrong and right with this one). Not innovative but definitely motivational and tempting
7) IE's CEX cards coming, which is one step closer to general acceptance and ease of use

We are just beginning

This is exactly what the market is craving for! Actual reports on actual work being done!
KUTGW!

Maybe we should setup a Basecamp account?  How about our own Discourse community?

I'm all for exchanging strategies, projects, ideas, and duties within a relatively closed source venue.  I'm in on Discourse for communal efforts and communication as well.  With that said, I think it's relatively early.  We need to build strength, market cap, and numbers first.  We can definitely lay the groundwork in the meantime and as per member Gatti's suggestions, we can use LibertyCoinTalk.org and IRC (which I have yet to use).

Thank you, our whole community should and will be a collective group of professionals that will stop at nothing until we are a top coin.  We are Liberty Coin!

As for other coins, I definitely think we can get along and co-exist.  I'd go as far as to say that we're great for each other.  Friendly competition, exchanging of ideas, and coin camaraderie.  We are crypto after all.

Can someone work, cohesively with the DEV, to initially program XLB to be merchant-friendly, whether it be scanning, swiping, or USB'ing?  If XLB becomes accepted, this is a huge first step to widespread use.  Or even if we utilize a 3rd party like PayPal or Coinbase to be used via a phone app, showing balance, used, paid, etc?
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | No Premine | Now on Mintpal on: May 21, 2014, 05:57:13 PM

I hear you.  This is not just a problem with XLB, but one I am seeing more and more with all of the "younger" coins.  To me, it looks like selling bots because the sells are placed like 10% below each other - which only makes sense if you are trying to drive the price down.

Asceric-Glad to see you here.

Very true and I saw it, I purposely bought XLB for 1 hour yesterday and every time the price went up, boom, a slew of lower sells would pop up.  I'm also thinking it could be Mint bots and I've already generated a ticket to ask them, it would make sense because lower prices creates more trades.  Thus, more trade fees-> money at the register, payday.  It's too systemic, too thought out to be some innocent members/traders/investors.

I can get over it if this is driven by greed, greed to a certain degree is good but if it's a vendetta, then it becomes my vendetta as well.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | No Premine | Now on Mintpal on: May 21, 2014, 05:34:49 PM
Let me start off by saying the page with the smiley faces was awesome.  It was refreshing, actually.

So as I stated yesterday, someone/some people are driving the price down and it makes no sense to me if this is driven by XLB members.  Why would anyone want to dump when coin and community are taking shape?  The sell walls are strategically placed (smaller increments totalling 8-12 sells) to drive it down once buys push it up to the 5K/6K SAT, I know because I tested it yesterday afternoon and as I kept buying, an unleash of sells would follow, fluctuations are 500 SAT.  Systematic and malicious to me so it's dolphins shaking weak holders or members from another community/coin deliberately doing this.  And if it's inexperienced miners who want a quick buck, then I say get a little more experience and that will pass and so will downtrend.

So here's my general message to those malicious speculators-I'm not worried as I'm currently spread (and generously) across assorted ALTS that are very active but I've taken an oath, in principal, to allocate my efforts and resources to XLB and BC, for now.  If the culprits/affiliates who are behind this come to light and they are within a specific community, I will direct my resources to dump, due to heinous actions of a rotten few, methodically and damagingly as I will not be inclined to such behavior.  If it's a member, I will resort to troll tactics and smear the crap out of you, until you don't want to log back in to BitcoinTalk, and I'm persistent.

Remember, if you want to play ball in XLB, you'll have to pay more each and every time you play.  Maybe not now, but soon.

No assumptions or no saber-rattling, just throwing it out there for the children.

Libertycoin is a globalized movement

Generally accepted -> Universal value

I'm curious to know who would purposely manipulate to keep the price down right now.  I'm noticing as investors/traders are buying in, someone releases a slew of sells in lower increments.  This is a different agenda because if someone/some people wanted in at the low, they would've bought in this AM.

So my curiousity is with these damaging entities or possibly Mint bots for more trades and therefore, more fees?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | No Premine | Now on Mintpal on: May 20, 2014, 06:57:44 PM
I will say that an XLB Card (with the right logo, aesthetically pleasing, and software implementation along with free upgrades, like IOS 7.6.3.42.45.9) could be beneficial here, not just for users, but for merchants.....as in instant transactions.  I have received IE's BlackCoin card, it's a beautiful and trendsetting product and that's coming from a seasoned corporate executive.  It's also a steal at $20, no matter how you slice it, if you consider the perceived value of the contents it may hold.

So vision this, think if we could put our card in our wallet or a small one on a keychain (like Reward Cards for CVS or Macy's) go to Starbucks, a Mobil gas station, GameStop, pull out the card, and with either a quick scan or plug in, payment is made and leftover balance is shown via receipt or digitally.  That's cutting edge that not even BTC has cut into at this point.  That is the future my friends, as everything becomes computerized and electronic, this is a form of virtual barter purchases/trade.  Honestly, it's quite beautiful.  No different from swapping contact information on Samsung phones, or barcode scan to purchase at an Apple store, or Bluetooth technology.  All innovations to make everyday life simpler.

Disclosure: I don't get anything by supporting IE, but we get something by making something out of XLB.  Will you expand your portfolio as well to induce positive change?

+1 Have my vote to update to new logo

Merchant acceptance such as Paypal/Ebay (we already know they support BTC), Coinbase, Groupon, Amazon, etc.  So a few ideas/options

1) Paying for electronics via XLB on NewEgg.com/Best Buy/PC Richards
3) How about something coinciding with Liberty University in Virginia?
4) How about trading directly for gold/silver/platinum and/or collectible coins via XLB on LibertyCoin.com and LibertyMetals.com
5) Video games and apps using XLB
6) Facebook business page (can someone spearhead this to update consistently, responsibly, and without bias?)  Know that you will have to do the right thing and if you can no longer manage this, you might have to relinquish your duties so that we can continue managing the page as a community

EDIT: As I wrote this post and Moderator posts they created a FB page. This is essential and positive news.

Buy on rumour... sell on news.

I'm sure you've heard this before. Nothing different here. Give the guy some credit, he's made a great statement, and focus for the coin. Stop focusing on the negative all the time.

If you don't like it, or don't like IE, just leave. Problem solved.

Conspiracy theories abound!

What did some of you expect, for IE to announce that he's Jesus Christ?

Come on people, stop being useless and bring productivity to this community.  You children are literally training yourselves, to be creepy losers in your lifetime.  Think about that, let it resonate, and then bring forth change.  The most successful people envision, admit fault/failures, and then correct to better themselves.

We've been actively promoting, discussing, and forging ideas for XLB.  What have you done?

And for all the concerns around the post deleting, I don't like it but Cinni does it and some of you still hold BC, which is also moderated.  Calling the kettle black

It would be the cats ass if this imployeed more than one anonymity feature. Say anonymous coin and mixer wallet. This would truly be innovative and not done anywhere pos or pow. Smiley

The storm before the calm, it's calm now and feels real nice.

With anon beta and announcements in the next 24-48 hours, some real good developments on the horizon.

Mr_Random-I've publicly lauded you as an intelligent member that could prove to be an asset and I genuinely enjoyed the your past posts in BC.  Make no mistake that I publicly asked for your hand in truce and to join us here.  All three times of which went unheeded as you go on this useless smear campaign and everyone can refer to your post history.  You can dispute whether what IE did was wrong or not but no one can dispute you are seriously bringing yourself to a lower-than-grave low and clearly can't handle this like a professional.  No single individual is significant enough to affect the overall morale/push of any community or coin, especially one with this much development and backing like XLB.  I really don't want to ignore you but I'll be forced to by your next negative post.

XLB Members, please click 'ignore user' or do not respond (AT ALL).

Back to XLB-I wonder what kind of announcements or headway will be in the pipeline in the next 48-72 hours between DEV and IE.  Anon?  Liberty Project?  Exciting indeed.

Meanwhile, 255 followers on LibertyCoin's Twitter and 371 followers on IE's twitter advertising and promoting XLB.  In about 5 DAYS!!!!
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | No Premine | Now on Mintpal on: May 19, 2014, 05:39:44 PM
No need to discuss what or why we decided against or for another coin.  No need to engage with those who bring nothing to this community.  Let's carry on.

So back to business.  You're right IE, it will take some time for laws/regulations to be cemented.  I'm just thinking about how we can be proactive and work in parallel to this possible outcome.

On another note, could we create a form of USD/XLB exchange (sort of like Digi-Pay from Digibyte)?  I think this could be huge, so long as we adhere to law and prohibit any illegal activity.

"Viva Libertad" -> Freedom Alive

Could anon actually work against us?  Does it raise ethical questions?  I'm all for anon if there are ways to implement it without worrying about future audits or shutdowns due to regulation.

But no one would have gone as far as to research it and post it here, you are discrediting yourself.  I know you're far more reasonable/intelligent than you've shown (in a moment of rage, we all have it).

You are seriously taking this too far, so will you stand united or against?

Research what? I typed his company name into google and his name came up on the first page of results.

I think if someone wants to act a certain way and make money selling a product, they should adhere to certain standards.

Speak to Christopher if you want me to now stop posting here.

That second sentence sounds a lot more like you (like the old you).  I think you would make a great asset, here or in BC.  Will you help change the world?

Never mind IE, what can/will you do for XLB or in the other forum?

Mr_Random - I've always respected your opinion and I read your posts go from neutral/productive to bitter (going back to now closed forum) but I think it's a disgrace that even if his post regarding your PM's was not the best action, that you would disclose his full name and company.  I reported your post because it should never go to that level.  If the moderator of BC is deleting your post, that should be an indicator.

So I'm asking you to stand united with us or both us (XLB/BC) or against.  It would serve in your best interests to be with us.  Whether or not you like an individual, if he/she could put additional $ in your pocket, would you allow it?  Give it a chance, $ cures all!  You don't have to like anyone, just let it be par for the course.  Like corporate politics buddy.
