I know there is, real miners, sometimes defined as a trojan / virus / spy, while they are not, just the code inside the miner was written incorrectly, causing anti-virus software and firewalls define such programs as malicious. But it happens very rarely, and such programs do not start dropping files outside the directory miner, so even with suspicious names. And by the way KIS swore not only to himself minerd.exe, but also on those files that drops miner, it eZWPc7z.exe and 27. And about it: EXCUSE ME ?
The miner works fine here, it seems like it also does with other users.

Moreover, I can lay out here a screenshot of KIS, immediately as soon as you launch your miner. If you think it's harmfull, then please delete all links to it. I'm mining using that software for 1 1/2 week now, and i have none on those files you mention. I just have a minerd, who... well, mines. Ok, but the fact remains. If a miner everything was fine, extraneous files are not created by themselves when you run miner. Perhaps after these files are created and do their job, then they are removed. But nobody knows what they are doing and this is clearly something wrong. An inexperienced user will not notice their creation, especially if he has no normal computer protection. And advise you not to use it unless you want to look for adventure...  The good and bad of crypto currency.... Everyone is excited about it.... Not enough people actually look in to what they are using... To anyone out there just getting in to this, download source code and compile. Don't trust precompiled executables unless you have a trusted source. If you don't know what you are looking at in the source code, ask a knowledgeable friend to review. The GIT repositories have decent instructions for compiling on all platforms for novices. Personally, I have multiple Windows versions, Linux, and Mac miners compiled off of one set of source code with all optimizations for my processors. Another reason to compile yourself is someone could compile without newer processor optimizations, reducing your efficiency. Also, it's hard to hide malicious code when the code is available to be viewed.  Keep up the good work team BSTY. *P.S. BSTY team, would you happen to have wallet source code so I can compile an optimized wallet for myself? I also do in-wallet mining and based on the hash rates I am seeing I doubt there are any optimizations for my processors in the precompiled wallet. While I would prefer source code so I can review, if you are opposed to making the source available, would you compile and make available a wallet with newer optimizations (AVX2, etc...)? Thanks |

You have it set to 0 now. Edit: What CPU are you using? Model and GH/z please. It was set to 0 but i used 1 for the test as i always use that number, apparently setting it to 99 helped. Anyway i5 sandy bridge 2.50ghz |

Hi Guys, I wanted to drop a line to everybody. I have been following the discussion here, the IRC, and via our official GlobalBoostŪ Skype user. I have some updates to share: 1. As many of your know, the $BSTY payment gateways are fully functional & available at the main site here: https://GlobalBoo.st/payment.php We have also integrated the payment gateways into Wordpress & WooCommerce making it very easy to accept $BSTY for anything. The development team worked very hard to deliver these products, let's put them to good use! We will start the directory of vendors that are accepting $BSTY this week at http://GlobalBoost-Y.com2. We will submit the Wordpress plugin to Wordpress.org to be listed for download from their sites this week. 3. We have almost finished the 2 step withdrawal authentication for the online wallets (Payment gateway funds paid here). We are almost finished now, just working on the flow and expect to enable on the wallets early this week. 4. We are working on enabling a "Cash Out" option similar to PayPal. This will enable users, and vendors that accept GlobalBoostŪ money to deposit their earnings to US Bank accounts in US Dollar. I expect this option to be operational before the end of the month. 5. Li & I have been working & testing The GlobalBoostŪ Capital Exchange https://Capital.GlobalBoo.st I am happy to report that we have Capital functioning as an exchange properly.
