161  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E on: May 15, 2016, 05:51:37 AM
I have been their customer for a few years. They are very trusted if you care about history of an exchange. I myself probably will not store too much money/Bitcoin in any exchange, since you should not trust anybody, any exchange with your life.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about this "Bitcoin-backed money" idea? on: May 15, 2016, 05:48:44 AM

Don't see why this is necessary, and what is the reason doing this, since bitcoin itself probably easier to transfer than the paper. In old days, transport a ton of gold from north to south is prohibitive, but bitcoin is very easy.

I agree, from my understanding of the history of paper currency, it was started as way to help out the trades. Bitcoin itself is super at this.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most countries in the ’10 most likely’ to adopt bitcoin are in the developing wo on: May 14, 2016, 03:38:00 AM
No country is willing to lose control of their currency. I think USA especially will not adopt Bitcoin. One has to remember you want a currency to hold value, but currency also facilitate trades, people's everyday life. This is more important.

Give it a few hours, I experienced a payment for 3 days to confirm.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The AsicBoost 'dilemma' on: May 11, 2016, 06:55:31 PM
Worst case it is like a tax, if it really works, then every coin mined, they collect a small amount, say .05 coin.
Overall miner save 20%.
This is a win win situation.
I don't think asicboost will closely control patent, running their mining business, not let anybody use it etc. that will be against free market principal.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explore a Huge Bitcoin Mine in 360 Video on: May 10, 2016, 06:40:38 PM
Chinese doesn't have the ability to design a proper ASIC. Those western firm build the chip. Chinese only have the massive production ability to bring a design to life.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explore Chinese Bitcoin Mine in 360° Video on: May 10, 2016, 05:20:48 AM
Is Chinese so technology advanced now? I don't even have a proper device to view it.
Please recommend a VR device to view this video.
Made in China is okay, as long as it is not that pricey.

This mostly shows the poor conditions in what people there work, seeking only profits from mining at all costs. Its so dirty and built as an abandoned
warehouse, dont see what tech advancement you see there. btw made in china mostly means garbage, 99% of the time.

As far as VR devices go, you dont need one to take advantage of VR videos, just use your mouse to look around all the angles, as you would on google street view.

I agree they are still in sweat shop condition.

I want to lean how to play with VR footage, I feel I am falling behind, I don't know how to view this video, let alone how to generate on of such cool videos.

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: May 09, 2016, 06:06:42 AM
Chinese miners are divided into 3 or 4 camps, they are not united, nothing to worry about.
171  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: iPayYou Launches New Bitcoin Wallet, With Ability to Cancel Transactions on: May 07, 2016, 08:09:45 PM
If they can deliver what they promise/claim in their web site, I think they are a promising company.

172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Appreciation Thread on: May 07, 2016, 06:26:39 AM

173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My wallet address has YGS in it! on: May 07, 2016, 06:23:04 AM
So my wallet address has "YGS" in it. If you don't know what YGS is, it stands for "Your grammar sucks" and it's a popular show ran weekly by a YouTuber JacksFilms.

Your YGS is hidden in the middle, check out this thread

You can generate better YGS address
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright just nuked Gavins and Matonis credibility in just 2 days - wow! on: May 06, 2016, 06:13:43 AM
I guess Gavins and Matonis regret publicly endorse Craig Wright now. This is by product, few people care about G and J now.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for bandwidth limited users on: May 06, 2016, 06:08:20 AM
I agree electrum or multibit. They don't have full data.

Actually, show you friend to use a paper wallet, running Electrum without private key, that way it will be quite safe.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 05, 2016, 11:23:14 PM
There are many folks care more about coins, I guess if satoshi loses his private key to the first few blocks, he will not be able to prove himself.
I think it is better this way, a legend remain a legend. A legend all alt coin inventor can look up to.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL]! What is Craig Wright? on: May 04, 2016, 11:48:47 PM
I like the tone, what is Craig wright?
Much stronger than who is.
A huge scammer.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 04, 2016, 11:46:17 PM
Chance is high, that Craig is not the Bitcoin inventor. I think this thread is outdated.

However, I want to express that people Ike myself care about genesis coins.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 04, 2016, 01:58:04 AM
To be honest, I care more about what is the outcome of the that much coins, will it depress the price?

Best will be giving out for free to everyone here.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 03, 2016, 09:30:44 PM
Never mind, looks like he can not move the million coins either.
