161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prefer bitcoin, FIAT money or other? on: April 01, 2015, 02:28:15 PM
In an ideal world I would prefer to use bitcoin, but we don't live in an ideal world. I don't think bitcoin or some other digital or crypto currency will overtake fiat in our lifetime but even if it gained 10% of fiat's adoption I'd be very happy. I think bitcoin will flourish and dominate certain industries, though.

As somebody said, bitcoin is FIAT money.
So this question is somewhat irrelevant.
Anyway, I prefer bitcoin's ease of use and FIAT acceptability/stability.
Something like BTC but based e.g. on gold would be ideal.

How the hell is bitcoin fiat money? It's the exact opposite of it.
162  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 01, 2015, 02:25:06 PM
I like the idea, but there are a lot of not insubstatial charges related to the mastercard.
0.05 if I don't use it for a month? Thats like $12. Another $12 to activate the card . $2 or so everytime you use it. and if I want my name on it, it will be another $24!

If the costs come down A LOT, then I would get one, but I would not pay $150 to have an unused card, or the changes related to using it

As cool as a bitcoin debit card is these fees make it practically pointless to use. Bitcoin is meant to be minimal fees yet there's ridiculous fees for everytime you use it and fees for when you dont. It was a similar story to the other cards I've seen available. I'd love one personally but wouldn't bother if there's fees are so much. I want something I can load up and use as and when needed and not have to worry about making a purchase just to keep it active.

How long have you been apart of PD community: Account 180+ days old + 3 months
Your chat message count: 16945
What you have to offer: English and Russian language. +2 gmt timezone. 1-6 hours online, tend to be sneaky nowadays. I don't take loans. I don't have friends, I know people. I am usually up to date with info going around.

I know the fact, that I look like newbie. I came from torrenting world on bitcoin, it is a big jump, there is much to discover or learn.

If you are interested I am up for some timefilling for basic things you need.

We might have a position open for u now.

If u still interested let me know.

Only thing is i would love to see u on chat a bit more when u become mod , if possible.

What good is having a mod who isn't currently active on chat? Anyone could try be active for a short while and then just beg for a position and those that do often have an ulterior motive, but people should have to prove their worth over time and then the admins can see that they are genuine and can be an asset to their business.

165  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: March 21, 2015, 10:56:08 AM
Considering registrations are closed and considering BTC is stuck at this low price, has a raise of payment been considered?
People are asking this every time bitcoin price goes down. Funny they are not asking about downgrading their payment when bitcoin price goes higher.
And it is not like BTC is 'stuck' it will rise again, just earn coins now, wait for pump and you will be good. The best part of bitmixer's campaign is its stability.

People are greedy. It has always been like this.

There is no reason for Bitmixer to increase payments. 0.035BTC is 0.035BTC no matter what the exchange rate is showing.

Bitcoin fluctuates so much I don't think there is much point in changing the rates and people would be pissed if the opposite happened and their payments were cut. Besides, bitmixer still gets their cut of money in bitcoins regardless of the price so it doesn't make sense to them. I think the 0.0007 is a decent all round price and the on time auto weekly payments seem attractive for many.
166  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling senior account on: March 13, 2015, 02:12:59 PM
Hero's go for more than that. 0.8 upwards from what I gather.

I can offer .2BTC at any moment today if you agree to sell it, there are negative on that account or any bad history?
Waiting for an answer from you in private message
Thanks in advance.

He's selling the account he's posting from I think.

Ok. Thanks. I'll keep an eye on the thread but I'll stay on the campaign and keep my signature in for now.

This is big news! But why do they pick such random locations? Testing purposes? Lol! Cheesy

I was going to say why only Poland. Why not UK as you'd think there'd be more demand. That discount is pretty nice however. You can already buy top ups in the UK with bitcoins from crypto de change though https://www.cryptodechange.com/?post_type=product&s=top+up

Cant you remove one of the higher Staff/Legendary/Hero places seeing as there's six free? If not if a senior (or couple of Members) accounts that are enrolled don't make the minimum could I have the senior payout then?
170  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling senior account on: March 13, 2015, 01:47:24 PM
Probably too high for a Senior. They mostly go for no higher than 0.4 but they seem to be struggling to get that with a few sales for much cheaper at 0.25+.
171  Economy / Services / Re: [7 OPEN SLOTS] Rollin.io Signature Campaign - Earn up to 0.14 BTC Per Month! on: March 13, 2015, 01:42:19 PM
Similar situation for me but I went from Full to Senior.
172  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Rollin.io Signature Campaign - Earn up to 0.14 BTC Per Month! [New Rules] on: March 08, 2015, 07:13:41 PM
Hey guitaplinker. Can you check my posts and update the spreadhseet when you can? I should have made enough now but want clarification. Thanks in advance.
Updated the spreadsheet. You've made over 50 posts, but only 49 of them are considered constructive. I excluded a few of your post in this campaign thread, other sig campaign threads as well as a couple posts you made in the 777Coin thread with only your 777Coin username.

Ah ok. I just made another constructive post in a viable thread so I think I should be ok and qualified now. When will this months campaign be going live as I think different users finish on different dates?
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some ways you can think bitcoin won't succeed? on: March 08, 2015, 07:09:37 PM
I was just thinking in my head about bitcoin and it's chances of succeeding of a major worldwide currency. I thought back to here about how many posts there are with bitcoin's success, what are some ways you can think of that will make bitcoin Not succeed. The most obvious in my opinion being a hack of some sort to the blockchain.

I think bitcoin is already a success but the only thing that could kill it would be if something far superior came along. If by sucess you're talking about more widespread adoption I can see a couple of things hampering that. Firstly laws and regulations that strangle its use and apathy from the general public and merchants. If merchants aren't accepting it and people aren't using it then it will likely remain stagnant or achieve growth.

175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Skype Issue on: March 08, 2015, 04:49:00 PM
I dont have access to the email.

But i asked my friend who was on my skype contact and he is not seeing me online.
So what had happened to that?

and i am not able to signin on skype website too.

Do u think is there any problem? and how can i solve it?
let me know please.
Thank you

Just because your potential hacker isn't online with your accoutn currently doesn't mean it isn't hacked. What recovery options does it give you when you try reset password. Was it linked with your cell phone or something? I'd try contact the support if not like newfelsh mentioned and scan your computer for viruses in the meantime. I wouldn't log into your bitcoin accounts aswell.
176  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ADVICE] - LASIK eye surgery on: March 08, 2015, 04:45:03 PM
Im not a fan of unnedded medical procedures, especially if has anything to do with vision. Myself been 4 eyes since childhood cant see without them, but doesnt bother me to wear glasses. Depends on you only thou. If you have money or insurance to cover and dont mind risk of surgery, then only you can make right decison for yourself. Keep us posted on what you decide!

Depends how you define unneeded. For some people their poor vision or having to wear glasses really effects their confidence. I guess some people get boobs jobs for the same reason but eyesite is a little different. Maybe glasses or contacts might not be suitable for some professions or activities so laser surgery is the best option. I guess you've got to just weigh up the positives and negatives at the end of the day.
177  Other / New forum software / Re: Add a Telegram contact method. on: March 08, 2015, 04:37:52 PM
I don't think we should add another field for it just yet, this is the first time I heard of it.  Perhaps when it gains some traction, but for not just put it under other.

I'd never heard of it also but I guess it can just go in other contact info like people have mentioned. Maybe there could be a couple of different slots added for other contact info as more and more messengers and social networks are coming out all the time.
178  Other / Archival / Re: Can we "Rate" a topic ? on: March 08, 2015, 04:35:22 PM
I'm not sure if it's needed. At first I thought it was unnecesary, then thought it would be good to negative or down vote stupid troll threads or upvote quality ones but then I realized it would probably just be abused by shills and maybe even bots so still undecided but I'm leaning towards it being unnecsary or not worth adding. Same goes for other like or upvote/downvote buttons but they all have pluses and negatives.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can u still have reasons to keep ur bitcoin? on: March 08, 2015, 01:29:22 PM
No one can predict the economy. No one knows if the price goes up, down, or in circles. It's actually a good thing if bitcoin is declining. 1 simple answer: Keep them and wait. You will be rich.

It's not a good thing unless you want to buy more but what if it keeps on depreciating and never recovers? That would be a bad thing. I don't think bitcoin guarantees anyone to get rich but I think the potential is definitely there.

yes i will keep my bitcoins current price is around 260$ per bitcoin in few months it will reach 400$ per bitcoins

I like your thoughts but do you have anything to back up that statement?

No. Speculators never do other than wishful thinking.

Ponzis are illegal, but when it says it's a Ponzi and people know about it?
If you said ponzis are illegal, how about all forms of gambling? Is they are illegal also? Lips sealed

Gambling usually isn't illegal except in some strict countries, but my post above clarifies the difference between a ponzi scam and a ponzi game on this forum. When it's blatantly upfront about the nature of the game it's more like gambling as the participants are willing but with a scam they are unaware and unwilling.
