161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 17, 2020, 07:33:35 PM
I think the government in our country will not ban cryptocurrencies. Even anti-crypto countries like China do not prohibit people from owning cryptocurrencies, they just prohibit the use of cryptocurrency as a currency.
I think that cryptocurrency will be the new financial trend in the world and no other country can fight it.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 17, 2020, 06:28:27 PM
Hello,

I'm new on bitcointalk, so pardon me if my question is a bit naïve..
But what about the predictions that Bitcoin would rise to 200k$ in summer 2021 or so ?
As you say, wa can't really predict it, but what do you think of those informations that are circulating online ?

thnks
That is entirely possible, but bitcoin needs ideal conditions to reach $ 200,000 in the summer of 2021.
It would be more viable if we predict bitcoin to reach $ 50,000 instead of $ 200,000.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 17, 2020, 06:06:15 PM
This is the reason why regulations are becoming stricter, and exchanges are enforcing KYC initiatives.
Even KYC cannot stop scammers, with the current lax KYC process anyone can forge their profile to pass the KYC.
I think the best way to combat scammers is that we need stricter regulation in the cryptocurrency market.
164  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto Exchange on: November 16, 2020, 05:40:32 PM
There's no information about the team members I'm in doubt of using it. Are you part of the project? I really don't trust new project like this I've seen a lot like this before but I don't know where they are right now.
Avoid exchanges where the development team is anonymous, people can lose money at any time.
We are best off using a large and reputable cryptocurrency exchange. It will be safer for our money to use a leading exchange like Binance.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Post-COVID World Powered By Blockchain Technology on: November 12, 2020, 09:01:08 PM
During the pandemic, people stayed at home more and had more time on the internet. Besides, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have also proven that it is more suitable for internet payments than fiat currencies.
Perhaps for such reasons, we are seeing bitcoin and cryptocurrencies still rising despite the pandemic
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 12, 2020, 08:42:09 PM
I think there are very few projects and the managers care about the bounty hunter, they can do whatever they want.
I've been through many bad scenarios with scam projects, they slow down or pay only when the token becomes a pile of junk.
There are projects that are listed on the exchange but still scam bounty hunters. Project Markaccy is an example, they promise to pay in September but bounty hunters have not received tokens yet.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BOT TRADING on: November 12, 2020, 07:37:15 PM
Would you rather auto-trade based on an algo strategy bot, or have the bot auto-trade based on a live trader?
I don't believe in trading bots, if anyone could program a good trading bot he would probably become a millionaire instead of selling his bot.
And every investor needs his own strategy in trading, copying is not a good strategy.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB VS Eth - Invest in ETH since BNB is centralized on: November 12, 2020, 07:13:15 PM
The majority of investors in the crypto market are only interested in profits, not much about decentralized or non decentralized coins. ETH and Binance are both good coins and have potential so investing in these two is a good investment.
With that said, I ain't investing in either. Bitcoin is the only crypto project that's actually decentralized.
Yes, up until now, only bitcoin is the only real decentralized currency. All the rest of the altcoins are created from a certain development team and they can manipulate it.
170  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternative Platforms to Binary Options in South Africa on: November 12, 2020, 05:26:43 PM
Just in case somebody is interested due to its 'high profit' promise, remember that it is also riskier than your usual spot market. Not to mention price manipulation is quite easy since the source of the price movement is unclear and easy to manipulate by the brokers. Even one of the most famous platform said that more than 70% of traders lose their money doing this, so choose wisely.
Even trading binary options carries more risks than gambling, imagine that you bet with me that I will touch the left or right ear.
The house is fully capable of controlling the ups and downs of any currency pair, so most players will lose money.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: November 12, 2020, 05:08:25 PM
We all love bitcoin and hope it will hit a high price but $ 35,000 is a huge number and very difficult for bitcoin to reach in the short term, I think bitcoin will reach 18,000. $ and end of 2020.
I think it won't be until the end of 2021 that bitcoin can reach $ 35,000
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 10, 2020, 08:51:18 PM
I think if the countries of the world release their own cryptocurrency it will make bitcoin more popular and increase in price.
Cryptocurrencies issued by countries are no different from fiat currencies, it will be a centralized currency and managed by the central bank. For those reasons the coins issued by countries will not be able to compete with bitcoin.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 10, 2020, 07:45:25 PM
Every investor in the crypto market has a strategy of their own, and it is not entirely the same.
It is very important to me to always learn new knowledge and manage greed, it helps me avoid FOMO and helps me make the right decisions.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 07:20:44 PM
It is not enough to just buy 32 ETH and you become validator, things are more complicated than that.

First, your ETH will be locked for period of 2 years, and that is not insignificant at all. That means that you wont be able to get it back in case you want to seel.Once you send it to special contract adress, thats it.
Next thing, you will need decent computer to be abelt o run the node. Here are the recommended specifications

Operating system : 64-bit Linux, Mac OS X, Windows
Processor : Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-8310 (or better)
Memory : 8GB RAM
Storage space : 100GB solid state drive free space
Internet connection : Broadband Internet connection (10 Mbps)
Power supply : Uninterruptible power supply (UPS)

As you can see, computer will have to have UPS or uninterruptible power source because you will have to be online 24/7, 365 days per year. If not, you will get fine that will be deducted from that 32 ETH you deposited.

So obviously to become validator you will have to meet some technical requirements so this wont be for everyone, but those whho decide to join will get average 15% profit per year, which is good incentive.

With all this being set,I hope there will be some public pools that we will be able to join, for those like me who dont have 32 ETH or dont want to bother with all the other stuff needed to become validator.

It seems troublesome for individuals who own ETH and want to participate in the validation process, being locked out of ETH for 2 years at a 15% per year interest rate is not at all attractive.
It seems that these requirements are only suitable for large companies with modern machinery and large investment capital.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who would have thought that music projects still have a chance? on: November 10, 2020, 07:02:23 PM
At the present time a project is successful not because it is one that solves something for the world, but simply that the development team has done a good job of advertising and attracting investors.
They often see crypto projects claiming they will solve a problem in life but I have never seen any project do as they said.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 08, 2020, 08:45:57 PM

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do

I agree that newbies should try to learn and control their greed.
The majority of new entrants to the crypto market are overwhelmed by the returns that cryptocurrencies can bring, so they do not foresee the risks involved and it is easy to fall into FOMO. Most of the people who succeed in this market are those who can control greed.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: November 08, 2020, 08:15:56 PM
Bitcoin as a whole is totally a decentralized system where no user is in control, but on a recent occasions, the CEO of cryptocurrency derivative platform  FTX Sam Bankman Fried donated a huge sum of btc to Joe Biden in supporting his election, in that case it could be said that bitcoin is going globally and could used as a global currency.

That act is a great promotion for the bitcoin and crypto markets. Elections in the US are watched by billions of people around the world, and the contribution to the US president's victory leaves people with a more positive outlook on bitcoin and the crypto market.

179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 07:45:16 PM
If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge?
Bitcoin transfers are quite slow and expensive, if bitcoin can increase in price to $ 20,000 perhaps people will consider it before deciding to make a transfer because the fees will be huge.

is it going to get worse and worse the more the price up? or it fixed itself
It is certain that in the future bitcoin will have to find a way to modify such restrictions in order to become a currency.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 29, 2020, 07:15:03 PM
This scam has been around for many years, the people being scammed are often new and greedy. As soon as they see the money in their wallet they only think of taking it without carefully checking it.
As long as you carefully examine that ETH wallet you will find that there are only ETH transfers and it is usually done instantly.
