161  Economy / Lending / Re: What is a valid collateral for a loan? on: May 27, 2024, 06:27:42 AM
Unfortunately some users have provided loans to newbies "on word" and received nothing in return...
If there is no collateral, only what I think can be used to give someone a loan on this forum should be your reputation and the campaign that you are. If the newbie go away with the money and not pay back which is very possible, who would we blame for such easy to know scam? I will blame the person that loaned the person some coins.
162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Home win model feel free to join on: May 26, 2024, 10:10:04 PM
that being said, I advice anyone (newbie or not) to avoid greed to take over your common sense and not seek the advice of alledged gurus and tipsters. 99% of the time it will be always a scheme to take your money and run away with it.
If something sounds too good to be true, it is.
Who knows if it is the same person that is registering different accounts and looking for people to use as victims. It this can be a common scam in the person's community and targeting online forum but they are here to waste their time.

I agree with you, like I said I'm not a guru wouldn't even call myself a tipster there's very little analysis involved, I just follow the model output. 99% it's scams, just have to embrace when the 1% shows up
You are among the 99%. Better go to another gambling site to register an account and start gambling again with your own money.
163  Economy / Gambling / Re: Home win model feel free to join on: May 26, 2024, 02:55:49 PM
I understand an alternative account it's against T&C but the restriction wasn't because of it
No rules were broken, that's the frustrating part.
If you care about what you did if the gambling site did not tell you, you can ask their customers care. But most gambling site may not state what you did precisely but they will tell you that you disobey one of their terms and conditions

I'm also not making any promises, just because there was success in the pass it doesn't guarantee success in the future.
Show us your past success.
164  Economy / Reputation / Re: Unfair neutral trust on: May 26, 2024, 02:43:40 PM
@ARTOIS, I wanted to be on your side before but if we should tell the truth, there are faults in what you posted. According to the post, it looks like you are not gambling but only posting to fulfill your weekly posts in order to earn money from a signature campaign. What I can say is that you should change and after some weeks, you can send Don Pedro Dinero a message, telling him to be reviewing your posts to know if the neutral tag should be removed or not.
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Input from community on transfer fees on: May 26, 2024, 08:25:03 AM
As far as UTXOs go, that's a paradigm I don't quite understand yet.
I thought I was doing a good thing by buying Sats whenever I got paid, but now some are telling me that is a bad thing.  This is worrisome.
There is no problem as you are accumulating it on exchanges. Some people are doing it and as the money reach higher amount, they withdraw to their noncustodial wallet.

If you are using a noncustodial wallet is what people are talking about. Let us say you send 0.001 BTC to your wallet, it will require you less amount of transaction fee when you want to transfer it to another person compared to if 0.0005 BTC is sent to your wallet two times. The more number of times you are sent bitcoin, the higher would be the fee if you want to spend all the UTXOs.

Do not be confused about what UTXOs are. If you are sent bitcoin just 1 time,  that is 1 UTXO. If you are sent bitcoin 2 times, you have 2 UTXOs. If you are sent bitcoin 3 times, you have 3 UTXOs and so on. But you can spend the UTXO one by one or combine some UTXOs to spend them. Go to Electrum testnet and be sending testnet coin to yourself to understand it better. As you are sending testnet coin to yourself, be checking coins which you can enable after you click on view.

And 'Consolidating Inputs' ...I have no idea what that is.
I guess I truly am a newbie when it comes to BTC  *facepalm*
You can read this LoyceV guide for it [May 2024] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs

It is nothing hard to understand. As people are sending coin to your wallet, the UTXO (which is the number of time people sent you bitcoin) increases. When the fee on mempool (like https://mempool.space/) is very low, you can consolidate the inputs. Consolidating inputs means that you will send all the coins to another of your bitcoin address on the wallet. If you consolidate all the inputs for example by sending all the coins to only one address on your wallet, that means you have 1 UTXO because you have sent all the coins (that you received at different times) to only one address which makes it 1 UTXO.

If you are spending from 1 UTXO, the fee will be cheaper than spending from 2 or more UTXOs. You will not understand this totally if you do not see it practically on wallet like Electrum but I think you have understood the basic part of it.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 24, 2024, 08:08:25 AM
I think there will always be people who say things that are politically correct but never follows it. I can resort to gambling as a means to earn something on the side or I could treat it as a hobby. My personal take on this is that you shouldn't tell people what to do with their money since you don't know how they handle it. People can gamble if they want to as long as they are responsible.
What that happened to people like the OP is that I believe he has been addicted to gambling before and that makes him to detest gambling after he was able to overcome the addiction. People like them are the ones that will always tell people to quit gambling but forgot to know that there are many gamblers that are not addicted. Some people just gamble for fun.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 24, 2024, 07:59:43 AM
March fixing is real. If you are reading sport news very well, you will see how some managers are caught for match fixing and we're punished for it. I think the punishment is that the manager would be banned in sport events. Although some can get lighter punishment but not often.

I actually don't know what happened on that match Manchester City against Tottenham team. And I will also say that even if that match wasn't a fixed match there are also lots of records for match. And in Some incidents players get paid for that and there was some news also that players are blackmailed by the mafia for doing match fixing.
That is not match fixing at all. Manchester City is better and won the match.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins on Bitcoin blockchain, new crowd in announcement? on: May 24, 2024, 07:51:38 AM
The report above talked about test transaction on the Lightning Network using Taproot Assets protocol, and therefore it is similar to L-USDT Liquid-based Tether, and its impact on increasing bitcoin fees will be low (Lightning Network transactions will increase, which require two onchain transactions).
News can be confusing but if the news is not confusing but true, it is about a stable coin that can be used on bitcoin blockchain. That means the stable coin transaction will make use of bitcoin and these can still make the stable coin transaction to be having a very high fee just like USDT on Omni layer. Or probably my assumption may be wrong but we are going to know after the project has been finalized and done.

Let us see what would happen. It can also be that the stable coin can later be able to be like the bitcoin on the lightning network with opened channels. The developers of the stable coins are more pros in lightning network which will not make this not to be surprising at all. If this is it, the transaction will be cheap for those that like it. But I will prefer to use lightning network for small amount of money.
169  Other / Meta / Re: This need to stop on: May 24, 2024, 07:14:06 AM
I noticed this on beginners & help board before but it has stopped. I am active on gambling board but I do not notice it. I do not think you are correct about the gambling board. You can bring evidence.

Roll Eyes noticed an usual trends lately in the discussions board most especially Bitcoin discussion, gambling discussion etc, members rush to make a short comment just to reserve the first spot on the page, and after a while coming to edit it with the full text, this make no sense to me, and no signature campaign demands that you must be first to comment at least none that I know.
I have seen this before and I created a thread about it. The user PM to lease lock the thread but I later decided to lock it. That was the last time I saw the person did it. If you notice anything like this, you can easily use ninjastic.space to get the original post of the person which is enough as an evidence and post it on reputation board.
170  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin pizza is it an anniversary? on: May 23, 2024, 02:34:54 PM
Bitcoin pizza day is not an anniversary, it is a day that people celebrate the first bitcoin trade.

Pizza for bitcoins?

You can check the link above and see the day laszlo bought pizza with 10000 BTC.
171  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: mine Bitcoin with a high end laptop on: May 23, 2024, 01:43:20 PM
No. If you want to mine bitcoin, you need to read about ASICs which are the mining machines used for bitcoin mining since many years ago. If you mine with laptop, it will not be profitable for you because the CPU hashrate will be very small. You can research about Bitmain Antminers which can be a good start.

Read the OP of this pinned thread: BITCOIN MINING INTRO & RULES OF THIS SUBFORUM - READ BEFORE POSTING
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between gamblers and real Bitcoin investors? on: May 23, 2024, 12:54:53 PM
If you ask me, what is the hardest job? Then perhaps my answer will be the investment profession. It is a truly unique and harsh profession compared to other professions. Especially with Bitcoin and a volatile market like cryptocurrency.
I do not like how you started it that bitcoin investment is a job. See it an a passive way of making money as long as you can hold it and not considering of selling it even if it is falling in price.

As I said, investing is a profession that is extremely different from other professions, especially with Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market. The way legends make money is not mainly from buying and reselling transactions, but from "waiting".
This is true. If you wait, the price of bitcoin will still increase. Those that is losing small and sell their coins and people that do not know about trading are the ones that you are referring to gamblers. I agree with you.
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Grandoreiro banking trojan/malware evolves to target crypto wallets on: May 23, 2024, 12:04:32 PM
-So again the rule of thumb, do not click any links in your email, specially attachments and you don't know the source.
You can still click on some links on your email. Example is if you register on a gambling site and the site sent you email to click on for verification. What I like is what you concluded it with, that the link that you do not know about and the ones that you do not initiate yourself like the gambling site verification email that I explained, do not click on it. Even if the email is from the site like exchanges that you are usingz do not click on it because it may be from scammers or hackers using almost similar email to that if the site that you are.

-Update your AV and OS
Prevention is better than cure right? I prefer to prevent to install malware instead. Preventing it is not hard if you know what you are doing.

-And again, we should always protect our account/password/crypto wallets. There nothing more than educating ourselves from this kind of attacks as obviously we are the heavy target
If you have huge amount of money on your wallet, use a cold wallet instead of hot wallet. For small amot you can use hot wallet and avoid malware.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Foolhardy bets. on: May 23, 2024, 11:04:13 AM
These types of bet wouldn't be helpful to me but I do just sometimes go all-in if I'm reaching that certain point. I think everyone here understands what I'm talking about, that certain point when you are frustrated or something. It's really that reason that you make those foolish bets. That shouldn't be a style you know.
I have felt like this when I was losing continuously while using the martingale strategy. Recently I tried it two times recently but when I went all at ones I won the two times. I won the money from Blackjack contest on games and rounds. I eventually used $50 to win $110. But when I wanted to continue trying the strategy, I lost $39. I have played the game and lost all before which made me know that it is possible that I might lose all again. Instead of me going for foolhardy bet, I withdrew the remaining money and now in my bank account for spending after a converted it from crypto to fiat.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 22, 2024, 08:17:00 PM
of course it would be ideal to spend like days to go claim any rewards won from any lottery.
What is ideal about it? If I win lottery or anything and I won huge amount of money, I will go as soon as possible to claim the money if possible I can claim the money immediately. Some people may not check if they win very fast but know later which may cause the delay. Some people may not bother to check at all because they are thinking they can not win it. But if someone knows that he won lottery already, the person adrenaline in his blood stream will increase and the person will not take too long to claim what is his.
176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are signature campaigns still a thing in bitcointalk.org? on: May 22, 2024, 07:50:34 PM
Yes Bitcointalk signature campaigns are still existing. You can use this overview topic to see the lists of signature campaigns and their pay rate

Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 19-May-24]

Are you planning to advertise your company through signature campaign? This would be good.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is the exclusive stake.com bonus promoted on some sites legit? on: May 22, 2024, 07:01:26 PM
Well, from what I've learnt so far about this type of bonuses that are being advertised by third parties, you can't completely trust them all to be legitimate, some or even most of them are scam.
I have not noticed this before but it is very possible. Some sites like that may want to let people that read about some gambling sites on their site to register through their referral link and use fake bonus to attract them. But it is very important for people to also be looking at the url and make sure it belongs to Stake because such offer can be from bad hackers.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 22, 2024, 12:20:37 PM
What you're friend means is airdrops come from new coins after doing tasks like promoting the project or connecting their wallet and doing some testing; they will only become free money if the project gets into the market. Unless that happens, these are shit coins in your wallet.
I will say the OP understand what he posted. He meant that if the money is high in amount, that people should not use the money to gamble. But I will say people have different opinions about what they want to use their money for. Also know that airdrop money is not free money if you were given some work to do before you can receive the airdrop. If you work for something, that thing is not free. Airdrops nowadays are not free like many years ago when people have just started to know about cryptocurrencies.
179  Economy / Services / Re: Signature campgain manger on: May 22, 2024, 07:21:43 AM
looking for the best signature campaign manager with experience in the social games industry! my telegram : @TheMisterGreen
I will strongly recommend Upgrade00 or Little Mouse. Upgrade assisted Bestchange sometimes and Bestchange was quite excited with his work during the assistance. I am in Little Mouse campaign and I see him as one of the best campaign managers. Another prominent campaign manager that I can tell you to go for is Hhampuz.

180  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request to remove negative trust. on: May 21, 2024, 08:22:51 PM
It is called neutral tag and not natural tag. You repeated natural tag which I do not think is a typo.

Account sales should be discourage because it can lead to scam, it can be a compromised account, it may lead to ban after finding a mistake. That is why it is good to tag account sellers with negative trust.

But you are the buyer, I do not agree with Poker Player red tag. Neutral tag is enough as a warning to let forum users know that your account is a bought account. Not that you scam someone or you cheat in any campaign or participate in a contest with alts. No bad allegation against you. So why reg tag @Poker Player? Please it would be good if you change it to neutral. It is enough for people to know what you are saying. I am only suggesting it.

But why buy an account when it is simple to rank up on this forum? Many people see it hard because they are only here for money through signature campaign. Change that kind of mindset and prefer to begin with quality posts. You can grow an account successfully.
