We are trying to make the first release as solid as possible and as devoid of issues as we can so that once it releases we can move on full force to custom block chains. We will keep you all updated as always on our progress. Any plan for MAC client?
I think it's much easier than Win client.
We will provide sh scripts for Mac. But now it's very easy if you can work with terminal. |

Just for reference, there is no deadline for release. We will release it when it is ready and not a moment sooner. Whether that is tomorrow, next thursday, or Christmas, it doesn't matter. It's ready when it's ready. We don't want to release anything that hasn't been properly tested and vetted.

but how's going with the custom chain development,
and the release date of SDK, which claimed to be in 15th Sept in the roadmap.
Release date of Windows wallet was months ago, but we still don't have it. So custom blockchains .... is far far away from us.  We tested it, it works good now. It will be released with 0.1.6d (tomorrow i hope). In previous message i post info about custom blockchains. |

I think one of the main reasons 70~ mil XCR is on BTER is because of the withdrawal fee at 1%
Can you talk to Lin to get him to remove it completely for a week when MP v2 opens then impose it again? Until then BTER is just holding coins hostage.
And with Mintpal opening for you people who want to trade there should be able to transfer freely in the start without a 1% fee to get markets and arbitrage going. And thus people wont be forging empty blocks either. And with windows wallet it will open up for many new forgers to join the project. You should make the best of this opportunity
Else it might end up as Cryptsy/Poloniex adds. Barely anybody transfers their coins there it's just held in BTER.
Lin shouldn't worry because those who trade on BTER will stay.

That makes sense. Also the forging system is superior to mining by miles. It is ridiculous to mine Bitcoin now I can imagine that is one of few factors causing the plunge. People don't have to waste serious money here to be able to keep the network safe. But you do need to get transactions going Merchants accepting And DEF create a XCR/USD pair. But I guess there is plans for that already. We are looking how to make gateway XCR/USD, real fiat conversions, but it's not guaranteed feature. |

Here's how I got Crypti running on my Raspberry Pi. Warning: I don't think the pi is powerful enough. It takes a REEEEALLY long time to install and process the blockchain. sudo apt-get update
