We were able to improve upon the automation for dropping PoL $GEO onto the map.  Now that things have been running along smoothly, we've upped the drops to place stacks of 5 GeoCoins onto the map!  This will help us achieve our goal of adding roughly 50,000 GEO per year.

Within the past few weeks we have been pre-seeding the map through automation.  This process has already dropped hundreds of addition $GEO onto the map!

This weekend we will be continuing to improve upon this automatic process.  We also have a few more backend settings to work on in order to prepare for some beta testers of the collection process.

I hadn't heard of sweatcoin before, definitely sounds interesting.  I was unable to find any market information so far, so maybe it is only redeemable for other incentives.

Today I was able to test out our first phase of automation against the backlog of all the magnets.  The automation successfully dropped hundreds of additional GEO all over the world!

In order to help us improve upon our logic and automation, please continue to drop magnets to attract GEO nearby.  This will allow us to collect more spatial data and try and make the system more robust.

We had some more success last night helping resolve some more customer support technical issues.  Also we were able to update a few more settings within the backend for user registrations and continue automating our Proof-of-Location (PoL) GEO drops.  Looks like we will have some more significant time over this weekend to dedicate to the automation process!

This week we will begin working on automating our Proof-of-Location (PoL) $GEO drops to help alleviate the burden of manually dropping them.  We plan to utilize some Mapbox spatial API's to assist with the geocoding process.

We just finished updating that most recently logged lat/long locations of all the physical trackable GEO already out in the geocaching.com community!  Hopefully some geocachers can help these items along their journey around the world, bouncing from cache to cache promoting GeoCoin.

These items are part of the geocaching.com community and they are meant to promote the GeoCoin project to the global community with millions of users.  There is no crypto value associated with the coin itself, but you could print out a paper wallet and include it in a geocache if you wanted to add crypto value to the find.

Taking advantage of one of the last nice days of weather here in Coquitlam, I was able to get another physical trackable $GEO out into the wild.  Be warned the grass has grown quite a lot over the summer, only those geocachers willing to head "Into the Green" will be rewarded!

If you don't see any GEO on the map nearby, head on over to https://geocoin.cash/pol.  Pan and Zoom into your local area, then click on the DROP GEO button.  This should place a magnet on the map which will attract GEO to nearby locations.  Please allow some time for the GEO to be dropped as it is done using a manual process.

While dropping some more PoL GEO for the community this evening, we noticed a large cluster of magnets centered around Turin Italy.  This area has already received a decent amount of GEO drops already so we will be holding off on processing these magnets.  This is the type of data that will help us improve upon the GEO drops moving forward!

Dropped a few GEO nearby for your last night!

Trying to add in cloudflare protection to our geocashing domain.  It seems to be causing some SSL connectivity problems.  This process could take up to 24 hours to resolve itself.

Just finished dropping another 150 $GEO onto the map.  This is adding to the Circulating Supply!

So far we have had a lot of magnets dropped all over Europe.  Let's see if we can get the community to help spread some $GEO around to other countries!

We are still under development, but this will help pre-drop $GEO for people interested in collecting once we launch.  This is also helping us gather community behaviour data to help us make a more robust automated process for the PoL drops in the future.
