161  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 10, 2022, 08:05:49 AM
Blockchain is a decentralized technology that was developed to be able to accelerate and secure transactions globally.. because it is a decentralized technology, this technology should be available globally,,, can be developed by everyone, and not centralized in one place, because when it focuses on in one place, meaning that there are parties who can monopolize blockchain technology .. especially without the "Blockchain Capital", I think blockchain technology itself has developed very much in recent years, so I don't think this blockchain capital is needed rn
162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Death of Queen Elizabeth II: Bitter Sweet News for King Charles III on: September 10, 2022, 06:32:13 AM
death is something that cannot be avoided by humans .. i understand that prince charles was very worried about his own health,,, he was worried that he would die before he could become king if his mother lived any longer .. but now his mother is dead and his dream to become king is just one step away .. now she is just waiting for the coronation day and everything will be perfect in his life
163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government data show that 1 out of every 246 covid vaccinated people DIES within on: September 09, 2022, 10:54:37 AM
bro, i've been vaccinated twice but until now there have been no side effects at all,,, even i don't have a fever like most people who are vaccinated .. i think that the covid vaccination is not what causes the vaccinated people to die, it is possible that they have other diseases and that is a factor in why they die
164  Economy / Economics / Re: UK looking to freeze energy rates on: September 07, 2022, 12:41:02 PM
it seems that countries in Europe must be self-sufficient in their own energy so that energy crises can be prevented in the future ... although charging high costs for energy and building several power plants will have a negative impact on the economy,, but it needs to be done because energy independence is important for now
165  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 Digital banks are now involved in the cryptocurrency on: September 07, 2022, 10:22:50 AM
it's great when these digital banks start integrating blockchain into their platform because then there will surely be more people getting to know crypto and blockchain.. hopefully they really care about blockchain technology instead of just following trends
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Working hours | How many are too many? on: September 06, 2022, 09:17:33 AM
48 is a good maximum for regular hours.   I can speak on this subject as Ive worked over 90 hours in one week.   48 shouldn't be required regularly because its nearly an extra day every week and for every week of the year that would be quite harsh, however I believe in business freedom so to have that as a maximum is quite lax and favorable to the ease of business.
More then 48 starts to eat into the good health and wellbeing of employees.   The extreme I did of 92 hours in one week was voluntary and because of overtime was worth it to me at that time.   The job ended not that long after (temporary contract) so I recovered my lost hours of sleep but in any case I would only state the obvious that excessive hours becomes dangerous and unstable to both employees and the work place environment.

90 hours in one week? so you spend as much as 13 hours a day a week working without a day off? that's pretty crazy,, because i just worked for 8 hours in front of the computer for 6 days it's already quite tiring let alone working for 13 hours,, i'm definitely going crazy
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 06, 2022, 08:34:46 AM
i think that crypto and government work will complement each other in the future,, that some positions will disappear is natural considering technological developments will certainly eliminate a lot of jobs,, but that does not mean that crypto and blockchain will replace government work or maket it irrelevant
168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia shuts off Nord Stream gas pipeline indefinitely on: September 06, 2022, 07:46:13 AM
Russia on Friday indefinitely halted natural gas imports to Europe through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, adding to fears of a looming European energy crisis.

It seems russia shut down the nordstream pipeline.

More recent sources claim russia announced it will not reopen the pipeline until sanctions are lifted.

this could be a "weapon" for Russia to make Europe an energy crisis and create inflation in the region .. especially as winter approaches this will be a serious problem for Europe because most homes rely heavily on gas to heat their homes .. if Europe not taking immediate solutions to this problem means that Russia is successful in creating an energy crisis in Europe
169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think that US is instigating war between China and Taiwan? on: September 06, 2022, 05:41:56 AM
in contrast to the conflict between ukraine and russia,, it seems that the us does not want to get too far into the taiwan-mainland china conflict for several reasons,, firstly, taiwan is the largest global semiconductor producer and the us is very dependent on their production and the us does not want this production to be disrupted because of the war,, secondly, the trade relations between china and the us are quite large, so they don't want to lose a trading partner as big as china,, thirdly, the ukraine-russia conflict is already very complex and the us doesn't want to add to global geopolitical tensions
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crash money supply is not under ur control choose new money on: September 06, 2022, 04:58:25 AM
what you said is not a solution,, because not all merchants support and are willing to accept crypto as a means of payment, especially if we make doge as payment and make it worth 1 USD for example it is not right because not all tokens can be used as stablecoins
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria to establish an economic zone which is crypto friendly with Binance on: September 06, 2022, 04:33:58 AM
this is a very good step because it will boost crypto adoption in Nigeria and will make a very positive impact on the global crypto market... especially Nigeria is one of the largest crypto market shares globally, so this is positive news.

173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics have always been a part of football, and that shouldn't change. on: September 05, 2022, 01:15:21 PM
i remember one statement from a politician in my country, he said "in politics, football can be used as diplomacy and propaganda" so football and politics are two things that cannot be separated .. especially in countries where football is the most popular sport, football is very much tied to politics, for example in developing countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia
174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Reason Putin Targeted Kyiv on: September 05, 2022, 09:01:26 AM
it is also impossible for a country to store their gold reserves in one place,, of course they divide their gold reserves in several countries in the world, maybe in switzerland or in england .. because we know that gold is the main asset backed currency ,, if this runs out then the value of a currency will definitely fall and I think the Ukrainian government has thought about the worst possibility for a long time and has thought of various ways to avoid such a thing from happening
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 05, 2022, 08:09:22 AM
depending on the intensity of the flood,, if it is on a large scale of course it will create an economic crisis because it will hamper people's activities and make many shops close and even destroy many important facilities ... but if it is small, flooding does not seem to cause an economic crisis
176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unprecedented political raid on Trump/Redacted affidavit/etc. on: September 05, 2022, 07:11:44 AM
i think this is the first time in decades that an ex-president's house has been raided by the fbi, it's also natural because trump brought a lot of classified documents into his private home, which is supposed to be in the national archives building... but the biden administration should have used it a more "friendly" move because after all trump is a former president and he should be respected regardless of the controversy
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits of been a bitcointalk member on: September 03, 2022, 06:36:47 PM
BTT is in my opinion the best forum not only for crypto-related information but also for all aspects of politics, markets, new projects, etc. I am lucky that I came to know about it. The latest information related to any matter, the opinion of different people on it above all is not any kind of propaganda And freedom is what we need in any forum and social sites.
i also have the same thoughts as you, Bitcointalk is a very broad forum ,,, there is a lot of valuable knowledge circulating inside, the discussion that occurs is also not always about cryptocurrencies .. I am also grateful to know this forum.

179  Economy / Economics / Re: Global famine on: September 01, 2022, 08:45:13 AM
this is the reason why my country refuses to export rice to asian countries,,, even when it would bring huge profits to the farmers .. this is done by the government to prevent a food crisis that will occur in 2023 .. our government has even started ordering farmers to grow other food sources such as cassava and several other varieties ..
being too dependent on one food ingredient is very dangerous, therefore from now on we must get used to eating with variety, for example with rice, sweet potatoes,, or wheat
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Germans are looking to firewood for energy as natural gas prices soar on: August 31, 2022, 03:19:04 PM
so the Paris agreement is just a formality huh? they blame developing countries for still using fossil energy,, while they developed countries are starting to use fossil energy again and it doesn't matter.. very hypocritical.

It's a household need as an emergency alternative, and I don't think the people there have any other choice.
I thought Germany was more skilled at tackling the energy crisis because historically they were pioneers in fighting climate change as I saw articles everywhere about their recycling technology. I see a lot of something against the previous assessment from this point on.

indeed they have made a mistake from the beginning to rely too much on energy from Russia.. we can only hope that this is only a temporary solution before they develop renewable energy for their energy..
