161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling excites you ? on: March 28, 2024, 08:09:50 AM
Gambling is stressless, sit on a couch and grab my smartphone, and then start playing some slots game, it's very easy I am not surprised that people are getting addicted to gambling, apart from the money to be made, the love for the excitement in gambling can be intoxicating.

Its exciting, if you don't risk too much, come to think of football fans, you will enjoy the game if you bet too little on the game, and you will surely panic if you bet a high amount of money.

Panic and anger comes knocking when you have risk more than you can afford to lose, there will be no enjoyment in the game, and you will only want to get it over with, to get your result and see if you win or lose.

Every gamblers have a choice, you choose how you want to feel at the end of a bet.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 27, 2024, 11:13:32 AM
Hi community,

When we make a bet and put our money on the line, we may lose money, time, and even some daily tasks that we neglect, and the first goal remains to make a quick profit with the largest possible amount of money, but I do not know why some people consider bets to be more  for fun  and a way to spend time than to win money.

Personally, I would consider it fun when my budget is much greater than my losses or when I gamble with someone else's money, and this is something I would not do if I had no benefit in it.

I think there are those who agree with me and those who do not agree with me, but it remains my personal opinion and it's an opportunity to share it with you on this topic.

So where's the fun when you lose your money?

Its because they have sense, its only a senseless person will believe that gambling is the way to make money, why won't they go for fun only and reduce the amount they risk on gambling?

There is more disappointment in gambling than good result, if you don't believe me then find out yourself, you need to greatly reduce your risks when gambling and avoid using gambling as your income stream, jobs are meant for bills settlement, not gambling.

There is no fun for you if you lose money, but you can have a great time if you use very small money, gambling isn't for free, you still need some money to have experience, how much are you losing? Thats all thats important.

If you are losing $10 and you aren't happy after losing this amount, go all the way down to half a dollar and see how you will feel when you lose it, the problem is thr amount been used by gamblers.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: March 27, 2024, 10:18:09 AM
In life, their is always a starting point to everything including gambling, so i can tell you to the fact that so many of us gamblers have our own side of our stories how our gambling life style all started, to me gambling is not a bad thing if you can gamble only what you can afford to lose, because by doing so it wouldn't get to your head, once gambling start getting into your head and you start seeing it as a means of income, that is path to addiction.
Many people will surely think more about how much they will earn if they win a gamble, this is what many people do instead of thinking more about how much they will lose.

It doesn't take long for anyone to become addicted to gambling, they will always think that luck is on their side until they find out that its not, we all have our side stories too but mine was never like this.

When I was still in school many students do gamble when we are on break, I have been called to be a treasurer for two sides but I have never for once try to bet money, because of what my father told me about gambling, it starts very small until you want more and more then you won't care about yourself anymore.
164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your next step if you experience a Great BEAR MARKET ? on: March 27, 2024, 09:06:39 AM
I will still buy Bitcoin if a sudden bear market starts.

What many beginners fail to understand about Bitcoin is that you don't lose your money until you sell your Bitcoin for a loss.

Before investing, make sure you think about the money you want to use for investment, it's not the money you plan to use in a month, this is why it's called investment.

The best money for buying Bitcoin is the money from your salary, I mean some percentage of the money, thats why DCSA is the best strategy, nothing works best than buying a portion of Bitcoin every week or every month and keep doing this for a long period.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 27, 2024, 08:33:41 AM
It's hard to understand why they cant just stop. Could be due to mental health problem or lack of support.  It takes a lot of courage, willingness, and determination to break free from addiction, so it's recommended for them to seek professional help to have successful recovery.
All these won't matter if the addicted doesn't realize that he is addicted, and the way that OP wrote this story makes me believe that there is no awareness from the addicted gambler, there is never going to be a way to break free from something thats no problem to thr addicted one.

Every addicted gamblers must realize that they are addicted, this awareness will make them to crave for a change, at least they are struggling to break free, but what about someone who dont know that they are in a chain of addiction? To them, they are doing just fine, no problem at all.

You can't solve a problem where there is no one, if they can't realize that they are addicted they can't solve any problems, I think this person may have lose his right sense already, he needs to be taken to a health center for a check-up, the question is where are his families?
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: March 26, 2024, 10:30:14 AM

Look at this simple chart showing previous block halvings and the price of Bitcoin on every block halving.
If we will just follow this, it clearly shows that for every Bitcoin block halving, we always create new all-time highs.

I'm just worried that before we break, are we expecting a huge dump before we will go Giga pump

Its obvious that you already knew what's going to happen, every dump is an opportunity, why worried because of the dump when you know that a giga pump is coming right after?

I have prepared myself for any possible outcome, if dump happens I will be able to buy more Bitcoin and if it doesn't i still have my stored Bitcoin to take the ride with, this isn't the time to be out of Bitcoin, it's the time to be in Bitcoin.

This time is different is what everyone is screaming about, but I  don't want to believe what the hordes are saying, likely, it will never happen but instead of trying hard to choose it is better to be ready for any possibility, have stable coin and wait for any possible dump to DCA again.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: March 26, 2024, 09:50:22 AM
I don't know is this have been discussed before here on the gambling discussion board or not, but let see how our independent opinion on this question will be and what to anticipate should Incase we find ourselves at that stage in time.

Just as the title stated, what do you think will becomes of gambling enirly if we wake up one morning to the news of global banning of football,  or a country ban it citizens from participating in football both as a game and also a sport.

Do you think gambling/casinos will lose it popularity since chunk number of their clients are from sport bookies section?

Your country rules and law can't be the same with mine, a what is acceptable as a norm might be a grave crime in your own country.

Global ban on football can never happen, because in some country, football is like their culture or gods, for example Brazil, who dares ban football in such a country? Is what if is too much to even fantasies about, not possible.

Or let's pretend it could, what benefit will the banners gain from it? Because there are many benefits that countries and the government make from football alone apart from other sports.

Football doesn't cause damages in any ways, for billions of people, its already a healing practice, something worth living for.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 26, 2024, 08:15:05 AM
This life is just so unbalanced, for you to have peace at your old age you need to make money, not just this alone, if you don't raise your children well you won't have peace, the moment you decide to bring kids into this world is the beginning of a whole new headache and worries, like seriously, when will one rest for real?

Parenting is not for everybody, you need to be sure that you are ready, and some choose not to have any kids, I don't just know how this will end for them when they get older, because kids are meant to take care of their parents when they are old.

Now think about if you don't raise them well, it was when I grow older that I finally understood why my father was a bit harsh on us when we were young, I hated the harsh side of him but it all helped, maybe I would have been useless if he never get harshly.

Teach your kids the right thing, dont ever call a white color a black for them, because they have trust in you and they will take it so serious, do not mislead them, what is wrong has no other name than wrong, gambling isn't something your child should learn from you, there is a chance this will bring you more shame than glory in the future.
169  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 26, 2024, 07:27:21 AM
My betting strategy or your betting strategy doesn't matter.

There will be less wins and there will be more losses, how you ate prepared to handle your losses is the only strategy that's left in gambling, know all the past performance of your favourite teams, it still won't give you the actual outcome of the next game, accept that gambling is luck based and plan how you will safe yourself from unexpected bad results.

The smaller money you risk on gambling the better your longevity will be, if you are risking very little amount you can keep it up for many months and it won't tell on your bank account.

Be careful around odds, I have seen many gamblers focusing too much on how much they will get if they risk some certain amount on a game, the odd looks better and they can make life changing money, but unfortunately it always go very wrong.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: March 25, 2024, 11:38:45 AM
Yeah, I think you make a great point in focusing on entertainment.

If a gambler is not entertained, then there's no point in doing it in my mind.

The most probable outcome will be to lose money, so might as well have some fun while doing it.

There’s little point in indulging in the activity if you don’t get some form of entertainment from it. You’re more likely to lose money than to win some so there’s little point if you’re playing just for the money. Perhaps having constant hopes of winning some big money someday keeps people going.

I wasn’t one to skip school then to go gamble and I haven’t really done anything crazy in order to place bets; There wasn’t any reason to.

Gamblers are more likely to never win, if they can accept this they won't gamble almost all the time and they will not always expect to win, which in return is better for them, they will not be addicted to gambling.

I believe that only a small amount of gamblers are really enjoying their games even though they are not winning, many people still have their mind on winning some money.

Greed is the biggest enemy to self in gambling, since its obviously not easy to be lucky in gambling I still don't know why some people go extra miles because of gambling, they say that mistakes brings back knowledge if you learn from it, but in gambling your mistakes doesn't improve you in anyway than learning to stay within your capacity.

I will never be against gambling but I will never support relying too much on gambling like it can really turn your life around, if one becomes a millionaire today, hundreds of people have lost their money in gambling, the fairness isn't cutting it for me.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 25, 2024, 10:12:41 AM
I will advise fellow gamblers to stop looking for decentralized casinos online, they should be ready to pass KYC on any online casinos they want to use and they must always go through the casino's Terms and conditions, some might restrict your location and some might frown using VPN, you don't want to find this out after breaking the rules.

It's also good to expect that an account will be frozen soon if we don't follow the KYC requirements. Some casino might implement it later on when we are already winning money, but it should not surprise us at all because we are well aware of that. Awareness is really the key, we use a centralized casino, expect KYC is a basic requirement, if they don't require as early then well and good,  but if they will in the future, we should not complain as if we are not aware

Personally, I'd choose a centralized casino that I'm allowed to play with KYC or would implement in the future rather than playing with a decentralize casino that its bankroll are limited because of lack of interest from the gambling community.
This is why gamblers need to firstly pass KYC on an online casino before they start to gamble on the platform, after doing research and finding out that the casino is a good one, proceed with KYC, then after you are passed you can start to gamble, this will get rid of any doubts or incoming problems that non-KYC verified accounts are facing.

I know some people will still be against KYC but how far can you run away from it? Even outside of gambling platforms, there is no popular income stream online this days that are not centralized.

Even privacy coins are facing difficulty in progressing in this centralized world, only Bitcoin maintained its decentralized feature well and thats because Bitcoin isn't a privacy coin, there would have been a problem if it was.

Say no to KYC in gambling means you choose to walk away from gambling, believe me, the few online casinos that are giving users privacy vibes will still be the ones to send them the ' we are sorry ' message, stating that they have to comply to some rules to keep their business in safer shape, be expecting this sooner.
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Spending extra to keep my assets out of trouble on: March 25, 2024, 09:03:47 AM
What about someone who has binance wallet and trust wallet is there still need for hardware wallet?

Maybe some people won't like it, but a hardware wallet (not even the best one) is not an absolute solution for safe storage of our coins (private keys) if we don't use that same hardware wallet the way we should.

I will ask a simple question - is someone's Bitcoin safer on a centralized exchange if we take into account that the person knows what phishing is and keeps his access data offline, or is someone's Bitcoin safer if he has a hardware wallet whose backup is saved to e-mail, in the cloud or as plain text on a computer?
I believe that a trust wallet is good for someone who can't go on for a week without spending some coins online or making some transactions, and a hardware wallet is good for someone who want to keep their coins offline for a long period of time.

Trust wallet is always online, including all other mobile crypto wallets, and I believe that been online all the time makes them less secured, but you are right that it is all about the user.

If a user of hardware wallet choose to his or her private key online something really bad will eventually happen, there is no point buying something without knowing how to properly use it, that's why we have this forum and even online research will teach how to use hardware wallet the right way.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 25, 2024, 08:21:56 AM
I’m talking about the potential problem that you might encounter in the casino. Personally,  My worst nightmare that I don’t want to happened to me is when I hit huge jackpot while the casino investigate my account ask documents that will support my financial capability on gambling.

I’m only reading this issue on scam accusation but this is painful if happened to me like hitting max multiplier on slot games that result to 50K profit. Can’t imagine finally hitting my dream multiplier then casino seize my profit. This is just an abstract discussion so we are not really assuming that casino will do this especially the reputable casino.

Can you do me a favor by telling me the name of your country? 50k is too small for any casino to hold for any reason, if they are finding it hard to pay 50k then such a casino can't be trusted, I can call my lawyer on this and we go to court, this will be resolved in a court unless I don't have the rights, or I can't provide some legal documents.

You should always use a popular casino to gamble, you can't be struggling with luck for months and eventually you get lucky only to have problems withdrawing your rewards, thats going to be a very bad feeling, always use a online casino that you can trust.

I have no real nightmare with gambling because I dont put too much interest in gambling, would have if its worth it, but making money this way isn't real so I tend to gamble using small money to have fun, I have battled with realism and fantasy in my early days when I was young, gambling doesn't fit as something that can work out if you devoted much of your faith and mind on it.

Gamble responsibly.
174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bunny Loader ver 3.0 - most crypto wallets are being targeted on: March 23, 2024, 06:53:03 AM
So we all know how this are being spread,

- emails riddled with malwares
- fake software downloads
- fake messages flushing in your computer like "you have been infected" and you need to click a link.
If you are receiving emails riddles with malwares, you already did something wrong which exposed your personal information to scammers. Ditch that email address and get a new professional one you can keep in the device you hold your funds, or use a hardware wallet.

Follow other advice like downloading only from the original websites and when that app is absolutely necessary, then get a good ad blocker to block malicious notifications.

- Jay -
How many times can on keep doing this? It doesn't take a thing to form any email address and send malicious code into the inbox, its like how those scammers get a hand on every ETH address that is ever created, because once you do a transaction on the blockchain your address is already online, its like this with email address too, there are specific software that scammers use to gather email addresses and they are powerful tools, enough to grab your address from which ever company its from.

I for once saw a tool, I can't remember its actual name again but it has something like Gmail Finder 2.0 or something, it was in 2012 a very long time ago, this tool is specifically for Google Mail address finding only, at that moment I new there is no point create an email to avoid scammers.

Since then I have gotten used to open any email that I am expecting, even if its in the right inbox and not spam inbox I won't open it if I am not expecting such an email, windows OS has the biggest users in the world, scammers target computers more than any other hardware, this is why I don't use anything crypto on my PC than for trading and watching YouTube videos.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking on people's ideas, visions, and talents. on: March 22, 2024, 08:46:40 AM
Have you ever met individuals with insane and brilliant ideas that got you wondering, how come he knows all this and it's not even reflected in his life? Some could give you real business ideas that could change a whole generation but that's all they can do, they can't bring it to reality and all their ideas only end on the discussion ground and never come to life.

I've met some of them and I must say, they are the backbone of so many successful businesses. Always with brilliant solutions to hands-on problems but can't put things together all by themselves to create a company of their own.

I believe nature is fair to all and while it gives some people that quality, others can bank from these brilliant ideas and bring it all to reality by supporting the ideas with the needed finance, resources, and coordination required to have a successful firm.

What do you think?
What about those with great visions and talents that are also able to put in the work and delivered in the end? There are many men who lived their lives like this and their stories was passed down through history books.

I would rather listen to those who don't just have ideas but are able to do something too, than those who only know how to talk and no actions, do you know that talking is the easiest thing to do in this life? So many people knows how to run their mouth and thats all they know how to do.

I was used to following what people told me to do, but it never for once favored me, and I believe I was stupid, because those that I was listening to did nothing, they changed nothing, sorry to say OP, I always choose my master carefully, I listen to those to have only delivered.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: March 22, 2024, 07:10:09 AM
I take part in lotteries but I usually do not make a lot of hope to win a lottery. Participating n the lottery is the easiest thing but getting a win out of it may be the most difficult thing. By the way, its fun participating in online lotteries.

Of course, if you take part in a lottery, you would track its progress and the result. Although i do not think that i am too lucky to win a lottery but still I keep looking for the results and see if any day i would win something big.

What if, I get a chance to participate in a lottery without any investment?
If any gambling site offers, free of cost entry in the lottery, i would definitely not miss that one. Smiley
I hate what if in this gambling space, it's been misleading so far.

I am not trying to discourage you but I will advise you not to keep hoping that you will win the lottery one day and abandon some important things in life, I will advise you to not relent because these hopes and dreams might never happen.

As you are buying these lottery tickets always remember to invest money in other things, so that if your lottery dream never comes to life you won't be useless for your family, you will still be able to have a great life.

Risks must be handled wisely, invest your money in things that seem genuine, and take higher risks like gambling or on lottery tickets with small amounts of money, avoid going broke all because of risks taking at all costs.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Is biggest Enemy of Bitcoin on: March 22, 2024, 06:29:32 AM
Ripple just seem fine for people who always wanted to be under control of the centralised rulers, and if they target Bitcoin they will only end up helping Bitcoin to become more popular.

Ripple is 101% centralised, and some people like it this way, unfortunately, I am one of those who don't like centralised projects like Ripple.

Bitcoin is 101% decentralised, I happen to know few people who are onto Bitcoin because it's decentralized, and that includes myself, the one reason why I will always choose Bitcoin is because its the only thing that work as full decentralized in the world today, nothing else.

Good luck with the attack, it won't make BTC fanboys dump their BTC and start buying Ripple, if Ripple wishes to be a better Bitcoin just like many ALTs wanted, using an Attack isnt going to make it right, it will only make it much more worse.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 22, 2024, 05:56:29 AM
If you were to restart sports betting again, would consider learning first by betting on paper. This involves selecting 1 to 2 games daily and tracking the outcomes of your picks without wagering real money on a sportsbookie platform.
Quote
Paper betting refers to participating in sports gambling without fronting any money. The idea is to learn the ropes without actually risking real money.
https://www.bettingsite.org/blog/paper-sports-betting-what-is-it-what-are-the-advantages-11569/
It is just like demo trading. Would do it if you were to begin sports betting again or jump right straight into the real thing?

It doesn't make sense to me, because you aren't learning how to read charts, what are you going to gain from using a demo in gambling? If your prediction goes right or wrong what is the end gain? You aren't improving yourself in any possible way, you can even end up jumping right into gambling if a few of your demo bets come to a pass.

No expertise or strategy can make anyone a ruler over luck, you will lose money if luck isnt on your side and you will win when it is time, don't try to confuse yourself that gambling is for you, it's not for anyone, you are just lucky for the time being.

Avoid confusing yourself that you are a pro, even if you win in a few rolls, it's possible that gambling will take everything back from you, this is why you must erase any greed off the table, and focus on how you will keep risking a certain amount on gambling either it's favoring you or not.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old would you be by 2140? on: March 21, 2024, 12:18:26 PM
No man on this forum will be alive by 2140 and it doesnt bother me for any reason, I plan to stay for many years if God willing but seeing the future is not in my power to deliver, I just want to have a great life and leave a good example behind, money is a must as this will make your life more easier, there is nothing that money can do for you than this.

I have no reason to be out of Bitcoin, and as a matter of fact, Bitcoin turned my life around, the shame, the guilt, all the lookdown on me turned around when I came across bitcoin and today I am a multi millionaire in my currency, I plan to teach my offspring about embracing technologies, not even Bitcoin only, because the future will be more into tech than it is right now.

I have no regrets and I don't plan on having one before I leave this world behind, I promised myself to have a good life and touch the life of others who really deserve it, I might pass down my BItcoin to my kids too because I don't plan on having no Bitcoin behind before returning back to my creator.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake it all put of over confidence in your club on: March 21, 2024, 11:02:09 AM
Risking it all or staking it all in gambling is a bad idea.

I don't want to know what you are risking all your money on, either on yoit favourite club or sports, its a bad idea to risk everything you have, most importantly on something you dont have total control over.

Gambling is all about luck, I dont know why anyone will risk all they have on such thing, its obvious that losing is going to be way more easier in this than winning, all the signs are written over gambling but stupid people still think otherwise.

I will never do such a thing for the love of any sports or team, I crave for gambling entertainment and that shouldn't cost me or anyone too much money, I don't gamble to have a life changing opportunity, I gamble to make few bucks and also have some great time.
