161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for success stories of bitcoin investors on: June 01, 2024, 08:28:02 PM
Op if you understand cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular,  you will notice that the success stories are also part of the process to motivate people in the investment o bitcoin and it is not a bad thing and the same time there threads also warning investors to be careful whenever they are investing. They have to k ow the basic knowledge of bitcoin and it co Cryptocurrencies in the ecosystem.

There are some stories that I have seen and hers that investors lost a tremendous amount of bitcoins in the industry so all are part of the investment process. Bot the good and bad are all in the industry so whatever dealing with cryptocurrency be careful and patient.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin been backed by Dollar then what will happen if the Dollar collapsed? on: June 01, 2024, 08:08:30 PM
Op what you discuss in the body of the thread is entirely different from the topic so we that would make the comments would do in two perspective. One for the topic and the other for the body. Okay dollar collapsed it will affect the price of bitcoin because bitcoin is calculated with dollar then from dollar other currencies calculate how much they get from bitcoin. Bitcoin has been calculated directly to my fiat currency. Like example. If I want to sell 0.0057 I will first write the bitcoin rate in dollar in the current price. $67,740 then times the amount I want to sell  0.0057 then times the amount of your country currency in dollar exchange rate at the moment. Example 2: $67,740 X 0.0057 = $386.118 X NGN 1,450 = NGN 559, 871.1.

Yes bitcoin has made many to become millionaires.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing, the Trump pump is beginning on: May 31, 2024, 08:55:18 PM
Are we sure Donald Trump will even contest in this forthcoming election? Because the court cases on his head a massive oh. I saw a News that he accepted all the 34 count charges as guilty. And he will be sentence in the 7th of June. And if he is sentence to years imprisonment then he won't contest again and another thing that can restrict him is that, they will accussed of not being a genuine leader so he can't become the leader of the nation. So I am afraid of him contesting in this election.

But if he contest in the election, I think with proclamations he has made about bitcoin, the community will support him to actualize the dreams of the bitcoiners.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Never Been A Scam. on: May 31, 2024, 08:41:28 PM
Developed countries are happy to have things like these because they think about their peoples and better things for improving their life, which is not favorable in our third world.

Most of the developed countries provide perfect permission to maintain Bitcoin, so that some of them can interact with Bitcoin very profitably, and this is good for them and also certain countries, we have a unique insight into Bitcoin for the community for these countries. those countries and this really helps them with those Bitcoins.
The developed countries are also fighting against bitcoin very serious. And everyone see bitcoin from different way. Bitcoin is very much legit in the cryptocurrency community and not foe countries. If bitcoin was legit foe them they wouldn't fight against the digital currency but make some regulations to so that cryptocurrency centralized exchanges will obey their policies and operate in the country to facilitate trading and transaction buy opposite is the case. My country has blocked almost all the cryptocurrency p2p companies.

And I don't know why? And if they know that cryptocurrency is a legitimate digital currency then they would have supported it with currencies so that things can develop fast but they against it
165  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Zeusmix — instant cryptocurrency exchange. No registration or KYC required. on: May 31, 2024, 08:23:08 PM
We are a centralized exchange that only exchanges cryptocurrency. We do not work with fiat.
Okay I understand but my suggestion is exchange should be cryptocurrency to fiat  and not cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency, if you want to market your service in the whole wide. We have a lot of exchanges that exchange crypto/crypto. And all the centralized exchanges do that and their services are all currencies but yours different and the method of transaction is where I am interested in. Because it looks like a mixing operating system.
166  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Move your coins from NairaEx on: May 31, 2024, 07:40:45 PM
I have not heard or seen this NairaEx before and this is the first time I am hearing it. And normally it is not too good for anyone who is here in the forum ro know that keeping coins in exchange is dangerous and it only when you want to sell coin nai good to send coins to exchange and sell and not to keep coins in the exchange. Well as the Op said, it is not too late if the window is still open. And the way I dey see exchange operating in the country now na wahala.
167  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Davido launches a new crypto token on: May 31, 2024, 07:20:06 PM
I saw the news today and I was like wow! How did he do that and if Nigerian programmers can do that then we should prepare our mind to see airdrop Ponzi Schemes because na dat area dem dey plenty and make nobody here fo fall for their traps. And according to the news many people invested in the Davido's memecoin token and later the token crashed yet Davido is still investing in the token. And as he is still promoting the token. And I don't think new can have a good cryptocurrency project in the country.

Boss Igebotz should not delete the thread. Even di project is a scam project it is better for use to discuss it here so people will be aware and not to fall for it again.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best Altcoin for this moment to accumulate right now? on: May 31, 2024, 06:00:59 PM
Nowadays I'm still facing financial struggles, and as I had observed with bitcoin the price still increases with minimal downtrend. Most speculative ideas remain out of the box, some said that Bullrun is happening but when I saw the trend of the chart it doesn't come to reality. We're at the state of market volatility, experiencing sudden drop and quick market revival. On this perspective I choose to hold and invest with Ethereum and accumulated some eth quantity, as it increases little by little. My asset remains stable at the trading site I trusted the most these days, there's a positive result I've seen and definitely hoping that someday when there's huge spikes my profit will soon double or triple of its value.
Oh yes we are on the bitcoin Bull Run and now that the price is still at $67+k, it is still good to buy it if you think that the price is too high for you then you buy the cryptocurrency that you like and I can see that you have already chosen Ethereum to invest and the only advise I will give you is. Make research before you invest in Ethereum nd Solana because these two coins have congestion problem. So when you are buying them make sure you have to know when to invest.

And since you said you have bought some Ethereum and hodling for the time of it All Time High, I wish you all the best.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very HOT NOTCOIN [NOT] on: May 31, 2024, 05:27:43 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/notcoin/ wow this is rising like foam since the release how do you think? to buy or not to buy?  Grin Grin Grin

Op please reduce all the sizes of  your images, it affecting my view. And if you want to edit it, follow the following format.
Code:
[img width=200]the image in this middle [/img]
Notcoin is trying im the cryptocurrency market and if it continues like this it will make a good name in the crypto community. Investors have gained tremendously in that airdrop and now it is trying to join the altcoins but it is still at the memecoin stage.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: May 31, 2024, 05:00:06 PM
There is always an opportunity to buy an Altcoin that has good potential like Solana, the price increase for Solana is getting better and growing. Apart from that, the Solana network is extensive in every trading exchange, so to buy you have to look at the right time to avoid the price going up. Solana is an altcoin that has a bright future.
Just know the time to buy and hodle. To know the right time to buy is the issue for newbies and those who are not knowledgeable with the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Early this year Solana was not good to purchase because of the network congestion and the high transaction fee but now that the network is free and the transaction fee has gone down, it is good to invest in it so that when the Bull Market comes then those who buy now will make their gain from it. And another one to invest is BNB.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mobile Mining scam? Which site do you use for hosting? on: May 31, 2024, 04:43:34 PM
One thing in this cryptocurrency that scam people is the mobile mining, normally I have not heard of bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana mobile mining apps but I have seen airdrops using mobile phones to mine their token and and most of them do not need 24/7 hours electricity. And they use bot to mine for them and all what they do is to check the figure the bot has mined for every 24/7 hours. They can even off their mobile phones and sleep then the bot would be mining.

If you want to mine desktop or laptop is the best for Ethereum, Solana and Monero.
172  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Zeusmix — instant cryptocurrency exchange. No registration or KYC required. on: May 31, 2024, 03:12:44 PM
I don't know if this exchange is different from other decentralized/centralized exchanges. When I entered the website I was trying to know if the way we were using it to make transaction in other platforms but the difference is very big and there is no similarities. And from the images I screenshot,

Please can the Op tell me what kind of exchange? Because I only know two types of exchange and which are decentralized exchanges and centralized exchanges and all those two local currencies are there in the platform to trade. But in this one even though it is a non KYC, the fiat currencies should be there to trade. Or this one is only for Cryptocurrencies? I have read the Op but was looking for fiat but none.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange tokens or Crypto Wallet Tokens?? on: May 30, 2024, 09:20:07 PM
CEX tokens are probably much better because when you use them in that said CEX, you're guaranteed some perks like no transaction fees or they might even include you in their promotions if you use their tokens so I think that they're much more superior to Crypto wallet tokens in that way, by the way, this is also the first time that I've heard or read of crypto wallet tokens, can someone explain a little bit about them because I'm not really familiar with them and are there like any kind of example to check out.
Thee only time there is on transaction fee in the CEX is when you are making a transaction within the exchange as internal transaction but if you are making On-Chain transaction then you have to pay for the Blockchain transaction fee but there are some CEX takes lower fee while so.e high. So you have to look for the one foe the lower transaction fee. And if anyone is investing in cryptocurrency, it is better for the person to invest in wallet token than to invest in exchange token. Exchange token is centralized and wallet token is decentralized.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Money addiction on: May 30, 2024, 08:56:35 PM
Op that scale of analysis is correct but you have to know that everyone in the world is want to make more money and the only people who are not interested to make money are the wealthy people and who is the wealthiest man in the world is unknown. But we have world richest person and the world richest person too is still looking for more money so nobody is exempted. Rich people work to maintain their rich. So money is something that makes people to be addicted because we must survive.
175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Make a difference in your society. on: May 30, 2024, 08:49:49 PM
A lot of negative things are going wrong in our society today, and people begin to see them like a normal thing in the society which they cannot change the negative things because they don't have people who are capable to end those things in the society.

You can make adifference by helping your society to eliminate the corruption, which is a major challenge many society are facing today and they have concluded that is a normal thing in a society.

If you have the opportunity to be a leader in you society, will you make the difference to end negative things from your society or you will allow the negatives things continue in the society? To me, If I have the power or influence, I will make a difference in my society to  end negative things like corruption, insecurity and other things that are bad to society.
Op if you are talking about to make a change for your personal self then I can support you but when you come to the national level. Those politicians are not ready to make you change and you have to k ow that one thing that can make one to stop corruption is good welfare package. In you office if you are well paid then you won't like to collect money from the poor to do things for them but you use the government money to process everything and do the thing for them.

But whereby the job is under pay, then corruption would emanate. And most of these corrupt cases in the society are cased by the leaders. And things are common in the third world countries. According to one political analyst, he said if you want to stop corruption then increase the salary of the civil servants then it would stopped because they are the people process the documents in the political offices.
176  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum getting worse and worse? on: May 30, 2024, 08:37:58 PM
For me, I don't really think its getting worse and worse like you rightly pointed out, instead it has actually done me good than harm, because it's has overtime helped me in terms of knowledge expansion and equally making me get involve in a serious discussion like this.

So by an large,I think it's not really getting "worse" like you think
No offense, but how you can say such things when you been on forum just for one week as your account was registered just on 21st  of May. Most likely you don't know how forum looked and how things were going here 1, 2 or 5 years ago, you only see current situation which is quite different than we had in past. Well, unless it's not your first account here.
That is to clearly tell you that it is an alt account, how can a user who register for May 21st participating with old members in a thread like this without fear. That is too obvious. When I registered in the forum to make comments in the reputation, and Meta boards were problem to me. Because I always believed that those are the Senate House in the forum and even if I came I don't know anything to discuss so I was always clear for these boards.

Well that is not withstanding. Yes the forum is getting slow these days and most after the ban of mixers and I also noticed some of the unnecessary dramas and many people have no campaign to hang out so for them it is better for them find physical job and do. And most of them don't like promoting casinos. And the exchange campaigns were just two or three. And they are not inside.
177  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Red flag worlds for crypto p2p on: May 30, 2024, 06:14:31 PM
Nevertheless, don't enter any transaction reference when making any crypto related transactions. leave the transaction reference empty.
Not achievable in all cases, some bank won't process your transactions without a reference,  e.g Kuda microfinance bank won't process if there is no reference.
If there asked for reference before they will approve the transaction then dat one na small thing na. Na to write business or school fees or any other remark for them and process your transaction leave. But for the once I have seen, there is no reference request and the once that ask for the remark, I left it blank and continue my transaction. And only few MFBs are doing that rubbish Opay e no dey do am and I have not seen it in Commercial banks.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: May 30, 2024, 05:46:23 PM
In my personal opinion, it's too high, though even if you buy right now you are still likely to double your money.

You may want to look at other coins that haven't pumped as much yet.
What is too high in the coin? Is it the price in the market or the transaction fee? You would have specified the area that the Solana coin is high. And if this the price in the market then I t say it is okay to invest because the price is not high but it is normal and investors need it to even higher so they can make profit but if it is the transaction fee well I don't l know for now but from January to April the transaction fee was very high that it was even rejecting investors to withdraw one make a transaction. I tried it at that time the fee was high and whenever I was trying to make a transaction it would clearly stated that "the network is congested, so try again later".
179  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 30, 2024, 05:35:55 PM
... OP is trying to ask is how much or maybe I should clarify by how many percentage in relation to your salary so you think is wise enough to be used for gambling? well that's how I see it but I don't know if am actually right though but I believe that's the context and what everyone has been has highlighting so far in this thread is how irresponsible it is to actually use a dangerous percentage of your to actually gamble because the funny truth is that even as so many persons reach against this it's certainly still very sure that some crazy folks do actually do this.
The Op should know that if his salary is big then he has to divide itto the bills in the house before thinking of going to the gambling sites and if has not done that and visit the casinos with the whole salary then he would not return with any peanut and tell the story how the money was spent. And if I will suggest for the Op he should use 1% of his salary to gamble because the matter.how the salary is either small or big, it will look responsible

Because he will only play or use the 1% and left the site for another salary day.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $BOME Time to buy? on: May 30, 2024, 05:07:19 PM
There is already an existing topic on BOME.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5497945.0
I don't think creating another topic to discuss about the same meme coin is a good idea on the speculation board. You can close this thread and be part of the discussion on the existing thread.
You are correct, there was no need for the creation of this thread because what the Op needed here is already over there so he would have made comments over that thread. But if he has other reasons or thoughts of creating this thread then no problem and he has to state it for the public so that we will not asked him to make comments I. That thread instead of this thread.

Hey GreatArkansas you can reduce your image because it is too big for people to view it. I fact, it covered the whole of my screen and I can't even see anything well. You can copy this 👇and replace it with yours.
