If you can afford to buy a laptop or a computer to use as a hardware wallet and never connect it to the internet, you should be able to buy a hardware wallet as well. Simply disconnecting and never connecting it to the internet is not enough.

You should not connect any device to it that has internet access, and you should not use any pen drive to transfer data. Because you never know if there is ransomware or not. A hardware wallet costs around $50 to $200 depending on the model and the company. You should take one if you are serious investor.

There are still enough campaigns where people can join and make money from their content. But I know for a fact that not everyone will promote every website for personal reasons. I agree with that, and I must confess that I have sent merits to some of the locals just because they are my locals and to motivate them to write content in our local threads. Some of their posts deserved merits, but some of these members became abusers later, and I exposed more than ten of them. Since you have sent me a merit in my local thread post, I assume you read that with a translator. I stopped sending merits to them when I understood something bad was happening. They denied that they did anything, but as you know, they teleported to the other forum and did the same abuse there. That forum is centralized, and the admin checks everything manually. The local users in question got a red dot (similar to a negative tag) on that forum, and it was applied by the admin, proving they did the same thing here as well.

In this case, I assume they have a soft feeling for their local community member. It could be someone's alt that is known by most of their locals. This is just an assumption, nothing else.

যদিও এটা আমি আরো অনেক আগে থেকেই জানি, তবে জানতাম না যে বাংলাদেশে এরকম স্ক্যাম কতোটা বেড়ে গেছে। ইদানিং এলাকার প্রায় প্রত্যেকটা যুবক বয়সের মানুষের মোবাইলে আফ্রিকান স্ক্যামার রা কল করে ইংলিশে জব অফার করছে এবং ঘরে বসে লাখ লাখ টাকা ইনকাম করার স্বপ্ন দেখাচ্ছে। যদিও ফোন কলের আগে তারা অন্যান্য ভাবে এটেম্পট করে থাকে। হোয়াটসএ্যপ বা টেলিগ্রামে প্রথমে জব অফার করে থাকে। যাদরে টেলিগ্রাম নেই, তাদেরকে হোয়াট্স এ্যাপে মেসেজ দেয়। আর যারা এ দুইটার একটা ব্যাবহার করে না, তাদেরকে ফোন কলে জব অফার করে।

কিছুদিন আগে আমাকে হোয়াট্সএ্যাপে এরকম জব অফার করেছিলো। তো যেহেতু আমি বুঝতে পেরেছি আগেই। আমি তাদের অফারে রাজি হয়ে যাই এবং তাদের কথা মতো কাজ করতে থাকি। আমি অপেক্ষায় ছিলাম কখন তারা আমাকে ডিপোজিট করতে বলবে। এর আগে অব্দি আমি সম্ভবত ১৫০ টাকা বা ৩০০ টাকার মতো তাদের কাছ থেকে পেমেন্ট পাই। তারপর আমাকে ডিপোজিট করতে বলে আর আমার উত্তর ছিলো যে আমি অপক্ষো করছিলাম কখন আমাকে ডিপোজিট করতে বলবা। গুড নাইট স্ক্যামারস!
