161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 01, 2024, 08:20:42 PM
Borrusia Dortmund surprising everyone with leading the game 1-0 against Paris Saint-Germain. Edin Terzic and his team was prepared enough to handled such tremendous performance of thr visitors and this is really an important game for both teams. I've settled for positive facts about football, we should not underestimate any opponents because the best team comes with promising players and having good composure to win matches.
Paris Saint-Germain
Dortmund were able to play with more confidence because they played in front of their own supporters. And yes, it seems that no team should be underestimated when a team has made it to the semi-finals. Because to get to the semi-finals requires hard work and mental readiness of the players when playing on the field. And Dortmund showed their mental readiness in this match. It was clear that Dortmund played more openly and more confidently. They are also not afraid to play short passes comfortably. But PSG must have analyzed what needs to be improved against Dortmund in the second half. So things will get more interesting in the second half. Mbappe also couldn't do much in this match. Because he was always closely guarded.
PSG has underperformed in the first half. How can an attacking side like the French side have just three shots throughout the first 45 minutes and none was on target? Meanwhile, Dortmund had four shots on target out of the five they had. Something is wrong with PSG and Luis Enrique has to figure it out this second half to avoid losing this game. If PSG fails to get at least a draw in this match, they will be forced to play under pressure at home in the second leg.

Dortmund have been highly underrated both by bookmakers and football fans. It was highly speculated that PSG would beat the German side both home and away. But the first half of this game will make sports bettors change the wrong perception they once had against Dortmund. If care is not taken, PSG will concede more goals.

A few simple steps can prevent unintentional use of non-compliant services. For example, avoid cryptocurrency money transmitting services that do not collect know your customer (KYC) information from customers when required."
They are gradually reorienting the people to believe that decentralized platforms are evil and should be avoided. Meanwhile, the government is the real problem that wants to control the financial dealings of everybody in the US. In a few years, many people in the US will know nothing about privacy and anonymity.

Quote
Soon there will be no non-custodial services and wallets left in the United States.
And this might force crypto users in the US to start seeking for means to bypass these restrictions. It might give rise to the use of illegal privacy tools just to improve anonymity. Overregulation can also decrease the growth of the vibrant crypto industry in the US. Many investors might decide to avoid the US market.

It is strange that Airbet team has hired people to shill here while they have active sig campaign in the forum. Among those 4 newbie users, 3 accounts were created on the same day. The last shilling post was from user 'Jimtomase' where the user said that he is from the UK and using the casino through a VPN. It is completely against the terms of the casino as Airbet doesn't accept players from the UK. The person doesn't even know the terms of the casino, but shilling for it.
It is too early to conclude that the people behind these accounts were hired by the casino for shilling purposes. They should have known that the forum have experienced gamblers and casino operators who can easily dictate such unhealthy practices. Have you also considered that it could also be an attack by some persons to give the casino a bad reputation. Some persons or organizations might use this medium to attack casino so that the community will not take them seriously. Until there is concrete proof of these allegations, airbet is not guilty of any crime.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 29, 2024, 06:08:20 PM
Omg Rodyrgo, Vinícius and Mbappe, what kind of consistency would these three be together, they would definitely be very sharp. It seems to me that there is no team that can stop them. It is said that the transfer is considered certain, if it is real, Real Madrid will have much better success, Mbappe and Ballan'dor can win individually.

It is said that this transfer will be announced in the summer. I know they want to announce this transfer after the Champions League final.
If Mbappe is successfully brought in by Real Madrid, of course their strength will be much stronger for next season.  Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo and Bellingham will certainly make Real Madrid front line sharper and will be a big alert for the opposing defense they face. So, this season alone, Real Madrid is very strong because Real Madrid managed to beat Manchester City and qualify for the Champions League semifinals.
PSG's struggles to win the Champions League have taught me that assembling all the best players in the world in a team doesn't guarantee success. PSG had Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi but couldn't win much, so it's not certain that Real Madrid will experience wonders if the French player finally moves to Madrid. Having too many superstars in one club also has its problems.

Personality clashes could arise because each of them will want to also strive for personal awards, but I trust the ability of Carlo Ancelotti. With his experience and human relations skills, I think he would be able to get the best out of the players. He has worked with many top players during his long coaching career and was able to handle them effectively. I also hope that Mbappe will be able to drop his ego and become a team player. This is because he might not get all the attention he got in Parc des Princes.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: April 29, 2024, 04:57:11 PM
Assuming you find yourself in a similar situation as this, what will you do? How will you handle the situation to make your parents trust you again?
The first step is to learn how to break free from gambling addiction. I would have to seek assistance with diverse strategies to ensure that I gain total control of my gambling activity. This is because if I don't deliver myself from gambling addiction, such an event might reoccur in the future.

My second step will be to apologize to my parents and assure them that such a thing will not happen again in the future. I would do everything possible to convince them that it was a mistake that would never happen again.

The third move will be to seek means to replace the funds. I wouldn't mind doing additional jobs to raise funds to enable me to replace the money. Taking a loan to replace the funds is not a good option for me unless the fund is needed for an emergency. I know that it will be difficult for them to trust me again but with time based on my changed gambling lifestyle, I might regain the lost trust.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the real bull run begin? on: April 29, 2024, 02:55:40 PM
I have been very patient up till now - just the last few days have been struggling with it but I will continue to hold.

I am up 85% currently so I'm happy so far but want want a lot more so just need to remember it will take time and expect that to come end of this year / early next year.

The Bitcoin business is very profitable but it also has some level of risk and the greater your risk level the greater your chance of making more money. Some person has already sold and collected their profit because they don't want to take more risks. If you want more then you should be patient enough to wait till the real bull starts in the next few months. If you were able to hodl on for the past two years, then don't be tempted to throw in the towel.

But it is still important to note that this present bull run might be different from others so nobody knows the precise time the bull run will start. We got to the ATH before the halving which was quite different from other halving. My suggestion would be, just be patient and hope for the best.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: April 28, 2024, 06:58:57 PM
So what I did is apply this same strategy on Soccer as well. Remember to do this on live matches.
So when you see game 1-0 and the team that score 1 has the odds of 1.30, I guess this is a good bet already. Just add another of these live games for your multibet and hope to win. Also, make sure it's already 2nd half.

Note: Guaranteed But Worth Trying.
This strategy is not new, some gamblers in my area apply it. This is a good one that could lead to a win and it can be applied in many sports bets. I appreciate your footnote that this system would not guarantee wins but it is worth giving a trial. My best sports bet is football and the games are highly unpredictable because less than a minute can produce a goal which can cut your bet. Anyway, I will apply this strategy in this week's bet, to check if it will favor me.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Post halving investing strategy. on: April 28, 2024, 06:38:53 PM
You're making some confusion when you talk about "low supply after the halving": the bitcoin's supply is always the same, what is changing after the halving is the reward for the miners, which is cut in half after every halving so what we are actually experiencing is a lower offer of "new" bitcoins because many miners need to sell part of the bitcoins they receive as reward to cover the mining costs and maintenance.
But post-halving also reduces the rate at which new coins are produced which reduces the supply of Bitcoin in the market leading to an increase in price.

I don’t consider the current halving to give huge impact on decreased supply and increased the demand since the circulating supply of Bitcoin is already near the 100% circulation. We are just talking about 1M+ Bitcoin compared to the current circulation of 19.6M already. So the decrease on rewards is not that a huge impactful compared to the previous halving on the last ~14 years of Bitcoin existence.
The current price movement shouldn't be used to predict how high the price could get. It is generally known that Bitcoin price doesn't go high immediately after the halving. It will take some months for the market to begin to feel the impact. I am predicting that the impact of this current halving will be massive and my assumption is based on the fact that Bitcoin reached ATH even before the halving. I suspect that the increase in institutional investors will be one of the factors that will take Bitcoin at least $100k.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will communism ever be realized? on: April 28, 2024, 05:15:11 PM
If you think communism is better than capitalism, then you need to fly to one of few countries below.

Today, the existing communist states in the world are in China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea (DPRK).
Nations like China and Vietnam are far better than some capitalist countries. It will be better to fly to these two nations than to any highly corrupt capitalist nation. Some communist nations treat the poor better than capitalist nations.

Capitalism creates competition and allows people to freely make attempts at getting rich and richer, it does not always favor the majority, but at least there is a chance for everyone, because it is a free market and that is why it is widely adopted.
The poor will crave for communist government because they assume that it will bring an end to poverty. While the rich will always want a capitalist system because it gives greater chances to get richer. However, communism doesn't promote equality because the ruling class, their relatives, and allies have a better opportunity to get richer than other commoners. A free market is better because even if it doesn't give equal access to resources, at least people still have opportunities to come out of the poverty line.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2024, 04:44:24 PM
I agree with you. Ronaldo and Messi's rivalry has become an icon in football and will never be forgotten by all football fans around the world. Some of my friends like City, United, Inter, Chelsea, Liverpool, Milan, Arsenal but during El Classico everything becomes between Real Madrid and Barcelona, between Ronaldo and Messi. I think it took a long time to find a rivalry that could make fans of other clubs in football unite to see the rivalry between these two players. But I think they will still play in the 2026 world cup but of course it can't be a rivalry like before.
The rivalry might end after the 2026 World and we will just be recalling how these two icons added beauty to world football. We are not seeing much from them because both players are playing in two different less competitive leagues and we have not seen any recent games organized for both players. I just wish these two players would be allowed to entertain the world once more in the World Cup before they both retire from football.

Messi's place is guaranteed in the Argentine national team but Ronaldo might not have an automatic place in the Portuguese team. Even if they both come to the World Cup we would have to hope that they are in the same group or meet in one of the games maybe in the second round, quarter, semi or finals.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 27, 2024, 06:39:20 PM
Biggest blunder a beginner makes when they first gamble is thinking that they are invincible. Not setting limits upon oneself, thinking they are okay and are not susceptible to gambling addiction or whatnot, are just among some of the things that these people commit to when they get that win.

Some new gamblers become overconfident especially when their early days of gambling were very profitable. Winning your first and second games might give you the impression that gambling is a bed of roses. They become relaxed and can even stake more than they can afford to lose. Some newbies will end up learning and gaining more experience as they continue gambling and this will make them organize their gambling activities. While others might end up chasing losses and having gambling disorders.

Some of them might be having secret gambling addiction problems but assume that they can handle it. Instead of seeking help from experienced gamblers or professionals, they would end up handling it wrongly by themselves which could worsen the situation.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: April 27, 2024, 06:21:20 PM
Now I want to ask everyone:
Have any of you ever been aware of this technique before?
And do you think we can keep our savings and wealth underground by adopting this strategy and considering it the safest?
And that being said, how safe do you think it is? At this time?
1. When I was growing up I adopted this saving pattern. I was saving some funds I got from my uncle and because I didn't want anyone to know that I was saving money, I had to put the money in a plastic container, dug the ground, and buried the money inside.

2. I will never adopt such a strategy because I nearly lost my savings. The bush got flooded and it became difficult to identify where I kept the money. When I luckily saw the container water had entered and soaked the money. I was lucky because the money would have become bad if it had been there for a longer period.

3. It is not safe because someone might see you digging and steal the money. And it could be attacked by pests if it is not put in a strong container. I would prefer to keep my funds in a safe that is buried in a safe part of my house
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 27, 2024, 05:53:29 PM
There is a possibility that we are going to end up with Al Nassr getting that cup, it is not going to be all that easy, but we could still see it happen and I think we should be considering this as something much better in the end.
Nothing is impossible but we are talking about dethroning a club that has not lost a game in twenty-eight matches. Al-Hilal is also topping the league with eighty points, twelve points higher than the second-placed Al-Nassr. Ronaldo and his teammates should start strategizing how to improve their performance next season because, from the situation on the ground, Al-Hilal will win the SPL this season.

Quote
There isn't really anything that would be considered as a "success" if you ask me. After all it is at least a cup and I remember him winning a cup last season as well, don't remember the name of it but he did win something there and this year if he wins this as well then it means it would be two cups in two years and that's not too bad. Obviously Ronaldo fans would like to see him win the league but it is still not that terrible if he just ends up with this as well, people gave up on the league long time ago, so at the very least they would be happy for this.
Ronaldo led his club to their first-ever Arab Club Champions Cup title. They won the match against Al-Hilal and Ronaldo scored a brace. The club just achieved the aim of signing the Portuguese international because they gained publicity and have been competitive in the league. Maybe he might be lucky to win the SPL next season if they can improve their performance.
177  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Uncle Gary leaving the SEC? on: April 27, 2024, 05:30:26 PM
He is not leaving hehehehe and he also cannot be removed from his position unless there is a motion for impeachment in Congress. His term will end in 2026.
The US Congress doesn't have the power to remove the SEC Chairman. He is an appointee of the president and confirmed by Congress and can only be removed by the President. The Senate can only mount pressure on the President to sack him but this can only happen if he is guilty of inefficiency, neglect of duty, or misconduct. It is rare to see the president of the US sacking the head of an independent regulatory commission like the SEC they are usually forced to resign.

Uncle Gary is doing a great job, but he will fail with Ethereum and soon there will be spot Ethereum ETFs in the US. Many companies were waiting for regulations, and now the SEC has many ways to fill the state budget.
The approval of Spot Bitcoin ETF has paved the for  Ethereum ETF. I don't think that there is any reason why it should not be approved. Immediately the SEC has made laws that will put the ETF market under control, and it will be approved.
178  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Uncle Gary leaving the SEC? on: April 26, 2024, 06:15:02 PM
This could be a joke from Uncle Gary.
The first tweet sounded like a farewell speech while the other two posts disproved that he was considering leaving the SEC. Gary Gensler's tenure as the SEC chairman will end on June 5, 2026, and there is no indication that the strongman has plans to resign before the end of his appointment duration.  He is also not under any investigation by the Senate, House of Rep, or any other government agencies that might warrant him to step aside.

Gary might be seen as a fierce opposer of Bitcoin adoption but he did what many former SEC chairmen failed to do, which is the approval of Spot Bitcoin ETF. He was able to go against some anti-Bitcoin forces in the legislature and other institutions that were bent on stopping the approval of ETF.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Smoking addiction in the society on: April 26, 2024, 05:06:12 PM
It is alarming that the population is becoming more and more smokers every day. There are many benefits to smoking in society, such as lowering stress and anxiety, as well as drawbacks, such diabetes, cancer, and other health issues. However, I have a question. Rather of taking in oxygen in the morning, a buddy of mine smokes carbon monoxide. Upon questioning, he asserts that smoking first thing in the morning is a more beneficial way to begin the day. I'm curious as to what specifically is wrong with Somker, considering that they have half of the same traits.

Smoking is not a good way to handle stress and anxiety. It will be better to seek other healthy means of tackling these emotional disorders. I don't also think that smoking is the solution to handle fear because after smoking one might still face the same challenge. The demerits of smoking are higher than the perceived benefit hence it is better to avoid this harmful behavior.

Another problem associated with smoking is its addictive nature. When one is hooked up to smoking, it becomes an uncontrollable behavior. I live in a country that experiences very hot weather and marvel when I see my fellow countrymen smoke cigarettes under the hottest sun. Some of them have been told by physicians to quit smoking because of health issues. But they will continue smoking and don't care if they are dying slowly.

It was interesting when I saw some news about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia linked to Barcelona. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had a good performance so far when he was playing for Napoli especially in the last season when they won the Serie A title he was even close to joining teams like Real Madrid.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has also had a good season this season where he has scored ten goals and given six assists in thirty Seria A games. He might not have had a splendid season like last season but he would be an asset to Barcelona. The Catalans are not sure if they can secure the future of João Félix, so the Georgian striker will be a good replacement.

Quote
Regarding this news, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia said he is waiting for an offer from Real Madrid and he said he would like to play for this team one day. But Real Madrid didn't send any offer for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and that's why he was disappointed about Real Madrid.
Since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia wants to play in bigger teams, now it seems he is waiting for an offer from Real Madrid, he said now he wants to play for Barcelona and he likes this team.
https://www.getfootballnewsitaly.com/2024/napoli-struggling-for-new-khvicha-kvaratskhelia-contract-amidst-barcelona-interest/
I don't like players wooing clubs, it makes the situation look like the player lacks quality or is desperate to move to another club. Quality players are chased by many clubs and it is now up to the player to make his choice. Let the Georgian striker relax and any club that wants him will come calling. I know he is not satisfied with the poor monetary benefit in Napoli which is not commensurate to his contribution to the club. If he doesn't get these big offers from any top club, an advanced contract that could make him earn at least €4m per year might make hi e remain in Napoli.
