161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: August 02, 2024, 07:54:07 PM
I don't know... Whether Kane is in the wrong place or he has a curse like others say but I don't fully believe in myths and looking at Kane's performance is much better, it's just that he was unlucky again when he moved to Bayern Munich and did not feel lifting trophies for him.

Next season for Harry Kane can feel the title ...

Even if Bayern Munich reach the final, the goal is still the final match and win it, it's just a little more difficult for Kompany as a new coach, of course he will experience great demands because Bayern Munich is a big club so 1 season must be able to win a trophy whatever it is whether Bundesliga or Champion League.

Kane is in the right place I think, the myth people were thinking about him looks real but I still feel that Tottenham is not a good team for him because if he has joined Manchester City or Chelsea throughout his stay in his English Premier League, he could have won the Premier League or any other title throughout his stay in the EPL.

Nevertheless, I think it’s now over since he can now win title with Bayern because I am very sure that Bayern Munich will win trophy next season and Kane will be a great player in the Bundesliga and he will also win individual awards while staying at Munich.
Even Bayern Munich winning the league next is not something that's certain so don't sound it as if they are well rooted enough to win it and besides the change of coach might still affect them negatively or positively depending on how kompany rides and manages this team. For now all I can say about Harry Kane is that he was the one who made the mistakes by not leaving the club like the way Gareth bale did and we all knew what bale achieved with Real Madrid at his time there.
162  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | NEW $BC AIRDROP LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: August 02, 2024, 07:44:43 PM
However, based on her boxing skills, it seems like a safe bet to place money on her. Nevertheless, I think anyone considering betting should do their homework first. I just wanted to share my thoughts with the community.
I can agree with you on that, she beat her opponent, Angela Carini of Italy, just under 46 seconds, and since then the media has been drawn to controversy about her gender. J.D. Vance, who is Donald Trump's running mate has also called Khelif a man and other important people have also disapproved of her participation in women's sports. It will be great to anticipate her next fight, could be a safe bet as you say.
I think this just caught my attention now, I mean if what you are guys are portraying about this boxer is true then she or he would be a tough one to beat and for me that's perfectly where I want to put my money. If she has the physique and genetic support of a male then her chances of winning her opponent will for sure increase although I have a bad record with betting on boxing because the last time I placed a bet it was loss and it was the fight against Anthony and the over hyped Cameroonian boxer.
163  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: crypto vs content creation, which is more profitable? on: August 01, 2024, 08:10:53 PM
I will go for content creation. Because anyone can invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies of choice so far you have money. If you are a good content creator, you will have money that you can invest in cryptocurrencies. Even if you lose some of the money, your content creation is a job that you can use to earn more money.

That's very true but content creating also requires time and resources if you really want to go far in it, consider the fact that you need a good device with a good camera quality and also micro phone for audibility, these things are not cheap.. Growing a social media account can take a long time but with a fair amount of money and the right knowledge you can make money on the crypto market on a weekly or monthly basis.. content creating is More profitable but building your social media space might take a year, can you wait that long?
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I quit playing slots? on: August 01, 2024, 07:56:02 PM
Yesterday I decide to have a slots session, and it wasn't even fun. I made a $100 depo and start playing on my favorite slot game Nitropolis 4 from ELK

Most of the spins where dead spins with $2 bets, when I lose all my balance I made another $100 depo. And again some bad rolls until I hit the bonus, on that bonus I win $30 before the bonus started a $0 from the 8 free spins.

After that experience it leves a bad taste, I didn't enjoy the session, and feels like a rigged game.

Had anyone here had an experience like that and think about quit playing slots?

Gambling as a whole is rigged, it doesn't matter what you play in the casino be it crash, slots or whatever it may be it is programmed to take your money, you can only get lucky but if you don't run away with your wins you are bound to lose it all, and you might get trapped in that constant loop of winning and losing.. I've tried slot once and I wasn't interested again after my first trial. I think people lose a lot of money on this slot game, most of my friends that are into gambling have lost a lot in this game. Quitting might be a good option or you canjust set a limit for yourself
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is a double loss thing. on: August 01, 2024, 07:49:55 PM
Actually I don't know if this should be discussed here but I think it will make up a good discussion.
Although it's just for those that have joined a signal groups/channels for predictions, but still ended  up losing. Am just curious to know how they feel when they paid for a prediction and finally lose the games even after paying their money thinking that the predictions are sure. IMO, this is a double loss thing.

Are people still actually paying for predictions?? It's quite funny to me because we live In a generation where you can have access to these things for free, if you are new to sports betting there are several websites to get free predictions, there are even predictions on YouTube you can get daily if you subscribe to their channels which doesn't require any fee whatsoever, so why are people still wasting their money on something that is not even 100 percent accurate..at the end of the day you might lose the bet and the money paid on prediction would be a waste, I consider this to be a bad investment
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: August 01, 2024, 07:44:32 PM
A gambling is all about the lose and winning so at times they might a fun which means if you winning all the time, but when a person is losing in gambling they’s not any fun at all, especially those that have not any idea about the gambling if there losing in gambling and that’s why they said gambling also deserves a lot of knowledge and experience, but some are seeing gambling as way of making cool money.

Moreover, there some that no matter how there losing in gambling they will never given up they don’t mind, because they know that they can afford the losing any amount, unlike some people that they didn’t have their own personal money and they will still pushing themselves into gambling.

I agree with your point there are people that have fun while losing because they have enough to spare and they are not gambling above their limit, most people that are not financially stable make the mistake of trying to win more by staking a huge amount of money, and they end up putting a lot of emotions in that bet cause they risked a lot, in my opinion that can no longer be categorized as fun because it would be very depressing for them if they lose the bet... people that don't have a source of income shouldn't even stake more than a dollar on gambling
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peoples expectations about casinos free spins on: July 31, 2024, 05:50:59 PM
What do you guys think that free spins are supposed to be like?

Have you ever used free spin to make money? At least a noticeable amount and withdraw it?

If you are running a new online casino will you feel good to give money away for free through free spins?

Here is my own believe, I hardly believe in free spins, because even if it turns out fine it's free money, and free money without breaking a sweat feels wrong with me, I believe this path is for the greedy people.

Free spins are not supposed to enrich you, take them as a demo to see how the online casino feels like.

What about you ? How do you feel about about free spins?

Whenever I have a free spin I always try it out but I've never won anything from it, I don't think free spins were programmed for people to win that much, that's just what I think..when it comes to gambling especially casinos the house always wins... statistically out of a 100 percent of users engaging in online gambling only thirty percent of users win daily and sometimes it might even be lower than that..But this is just my opinion I'm not trying to discourage anyone from trying it out, after all gambling is also about being lucky, who knows you might hit the jackpot with that free spin someday.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: July 31, 2024, 05:32:06 PM
You can add these two:

When you win little, do not gamble on that day again. But some gamblers will feel like they should continue to gamble and they will lose at the end of the day.

When you are addicted. Quit gambling for a long time.
Quitting gambling can never be achieved because there we have the vast majority of gamblers who solely relied on gambling in their free time. It's not as if they're addicts but they're anticipating in games and they ensure they grab good hold of profits. These two measures are important but it sounds more like relenting efforts for these gamblers. There are many other ways to comprehend the operation of the market, its not mandatory we held our hands tie down to just one sector of the gambling system. Addiction kills slowly, and it affects most of the gamblers existence in the space.

Gambling addiction just like every other addiction can be stopped although it might be difficult to stop due to the impact it has on the brain, but it all comes down to decision making, I think quitting gambling is achievable, a lot of people have done it and they have shared their stories on social media platforms, it's not going to be easy to stop but considering the fact that it's can cause a lot of damage to a persons life fighting the addiction is Worth it... there are so many ways you can restrict yourself, one of them is simply opening an account with a commercial bank and putting your resources there or better still just withdraw the funds you have in your bank account keep it locked for a period of time
169  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Telegram records millions of new users due to Crpto mining. on: July 31, 2024, 05:20:43 PM
This is as expected. After the success of notcoin spread far and near, and new projects like yescoin and tapswap wey come out with a similar mining scheme, people go join the initiative for sure. One thing we suppose know be say notcoin don show many people in Nigeria say them fit get paid for this crypto something and if telegram play the game well now wey e dey their court, them fit use their app onboard millions of Nigerians and retain them for a long time. Even people papa and mama dey currently participate for mining on telegram without needing to know what blockchain means or what a public/ private key is. It's a net-positive win for crypto even if I don't think the current projects go fit meet the expectations of their new users.

I always tell my friends to reduce their expectations because these web3 projects will not cook the way notcoin did, everyday there's a new project coming up and people keep tapping everything they are seeing on telegram...we can see the delay tactics of hamster combat it's very obvious that it's not going to end well, I think notcoin was the first web3 project to dispense such a massive liquidity, but do you think these other projects would pay users if everyone is planning to withdraw, what will they benefit from the whole thing?? isn't it going to be a huge loss to them??
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: July 31, 2024, 05:05:52 PM
No - it's not considered a hobby, have a different thought.

Gambling can be fun is TRUE.
But what if this hobby leads to addiction and they consider it a source of income? It still exists, even though many people think it shouldn't be but other people always think like this.

While there are many other types of hobbies outside of gambling, if the hobby can be made better then it makes money, not with gambling only limited to the fun in betting the favorite team.

Gambling can be a hobby when it's done for fun and entertainment purposes only , it only becomes an addiction when you get caught up by greed and trying to get rich with it over night.. gambling for fun simply means you are staking what you can afford to lose knowing that it's a 50/50 thing, it's either you win or lose..it' can be considered to be a hobby in this regard done for the purpose of just relaxing your nerves and having fun. If people do it occasionally and it's something they like doing without being addicted to it, isn't that categorized as an hobby??  Correct me if am wrong
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the differences between this 2 gamblers? on: July 30, 2024, 08:52:20 PM
Hello gambler.
Am just wondering if one is gambling everyday (24/7) and he's winning in all his predictions (let's say 90% of his games are won) we do not call the person an addicted gambler, but we only say that he's an expert gambler. But if a gambler is not winning and he's gambling everyday we do call the person an addicted gambler.

What causes addiction is misplaced of priorities with gamblers.

We are not being addicted in gambling because of winning or not, we all know that in gambling, we most likely tend to lose than winning, moreover not all gamblers were gambling for making money, but some will be gambling and they you will obviously see that some certain things were not right about the same gambler and when you look more closer into the reason behind that, all you could figure out is gambling addiction being the major cause.

I would love to agree with you on this one but I'm of the opinion that winning or losing can be a factor that can trigger gambling addiction
In the aspect of winning most people allow greed to take over them entirely and this can make a person gamble constantly, losing can also cause an addiction with gambling especially when you start chasing your losses, there must be something that would capture your mind, it's impossible to just get addicted without a cause , all you have to do is identify what the cause of your addiction is before it turns into a serious problem
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long have you been gambling in sports? on: July 30, 2024, 08:33:53 PM
It just came to my mind, and I hope users here will find this topic interesting. This might seem like a simple question, but hopefully it is interesting for some sports bettors, whether we are starting out or have been gambling for years. We will know what makes us continue gambling even if we aren't successful in making money yet, or if we stay because making money in sports betting is very easy.

So please answer this question:

How long have you been gambling, and have you already figured out how to win? If yes or no, please explain.

A very interesting topic, I Ve been gambling for over ten years now, I started in 2014 a friend of mine introduced me to it,  he won about 20 thousand naira on bet9ja , this gave me some sort of motivation to try , at that time I didn't know that it was possible to gamble online so I always went to a bet shop to bet..had some little wins after two weeks, it was about 15 thousand naira, since then I've been playing constantly and that's how I got into lifestyle...I haven't had much problems with gambling until I discovered casinos that was were the problem started..From my experience so far I think it's better to stick to sports betting.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: July 30, 2024, 08:24:33 PM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.

Whatever you do without emotional control will always have a disastrous outcome, venturing into things like gambling, crypto trade and forex trading requires a high level of emotional discipline, can you put yourself under control when you are in Profit or loss? .. sometimes it's not even always about losing money, do you have what it takes to tell yourself to stop when you are in profit or when you have reached your target for the day, most people lose control of themselves and continue flipping till they burn everything they've gotten including their capital.. Always learn to control your emotions
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: July 30, 2024, 08:15:58 PM
As the gambling industry is evolving, I think innovations would have kicked in that can make someone create a career from gambling. I do not know how this can be achieved but I feel it is possible.

Making gambling a full time job might be seen as risky but I still feel one can make gambling full time job and a career.

What do you all think?

Having a plan to make gambling a career can set a person up for failure because gambling have a lot of unexpected outcomes. They are those that are making money from gambling but I think it's just strictly on luck. No one can always get lucky multiple times without having setbacks in gambling, you might just lose everything you've earned just in a single day..I always tell people that even these so called punters on Twitter don't take gambling as a full time job, they have real jobs that are involved in... bottom line is gambling shouldn't be seen as a source of income but it should be done for entertainment purposes only
175  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 3 things to know before investing in Bitcoin on: July 27, 2024, 07:52:34 PM
Though your writing isn't bad, but when I saw this post, I initially thought of something more robust, something more easier to understand to a newbie or a total novice, but like this, it will be quite difficult for a novice to understand perfectly well what you are trying to say, because most novice and newbies don't even know what is mining, so to me, the information you are trying to send out is not that clear.

So too me, if am advicing anyone on this your topic here, which is three things to know before investing in Bitcoin. it would;

* Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme: you can't just invest in Bitcoin and expect to be a millionaire overnight just as most newbies think.

* Bitcoin investment is not a risk free investment: most people think that once they invest in Bitcoin they are sure of a return, no, it's actually risky just as every investment out there, due to it volatility.

* We should always store it in a self custodian wallet: this is one of the most important thing to know before investing in Bitcoin, so you wouldn't lose your asset.

Yeah Bitcoin investment is not the kind of investment that would yield immediately that is why so many people had advised those who want to invest newly on Bitcoin to invest what they can afford to lose and make sure there is still something sustainable to hold and also get something that would get you money regularly if you want to survive Bitcoin investment.
If so, there may be obstacles in the field of investment. People are generally more attracted to stability. Financially stable investment decisions especially. But Bitcoin can give you high profits by holding for a long time. I think Bitcoin is a risky investment for short term traders because it is a volatile asset that can fluctuate in value. Bitcoin investment can be very profitable for you only when you can align your investment with a long time horizon.

Bitcoin itself is a normal risk just like every other risk involvement and the actual successful people on this earth are actually the risk takers so when it comes to risk it's not something anyone can avoid but the issues is that you have to just limit some certain risk and in the field of crypto investment buying of crazy altcoins would be the crazy risk am talking about.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: July 27, 2024, 07:11:29 PM
By the way are you still following the daily tournaments? I followed it twice yesterday and managed to get a new record. Previously my best achievement was 9th position and yesterday I finished in 5th position so next is the first place Cheesy I also just noticed that the prize pool has been reduced to $500 yeah this is a sign that free mode will end soon and I wonder if Stake.com can make this Poker thing work long term because we know that many casinos fail to do this.

Congratulations on your win and $26.25 is quite alright for a 5th position finish. As we know It's free money and any amount stake decide to give out should be appreciated as other casino always award mostly the top 3 positions this big but if stake wants to make more people to participate they also have to increase the price pool so they can reward the winners more. Reducing the price pool isn't going to make the attendance improve as former participants might choose to stop playing as the price is now small. On the other hand, the reason they decided to reduce the tournament pool could be as they are getting a low participation.
Gambling is a risky thing where we have to bet money and in return we get a chance to win several times of that amount but most of the time we have to lose. But if one gets free money from a gambling site without using any money it is very appreciated. He got $26 for free which is a big win for him. Stake sites provide many types of bonuses to their users. I also got monthly bonus a few times though I had to complete a lot of wagering for it. congratulations for him/her for winning $26 freely
Well I can testify that getting these wins from free bonuses is as hard as something else because it's gambling is something that one can win anyhow and I know this because I have tried myself and most times I just gamble anyway the bonus because some of the bonus have some requirements as per number of wagers. So congratulations to him for getting that win, it's not an easy task 😏😏
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: July 27, 2024, 06:59:13 PM
Girona remind me of Newcastle in the Champions League, I think they might try their best to advance to knockout stage but I won't think much about them since some of their players are out already and they might not be able to replicate such form but maybe they might be fortunate to do better than Newcastle

There are worse options than what happened to Newcastle - for example Union Berlin. They failed in the Champions League and miraculously remained in the Bundesliga, were very close to relegation. But I think that despite the fact that Girona lost several players, such a failure is not threatening them. I think they will be able to qualify for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League (in the new format it is much easier for newcomers) and then everything will depend on the draw.

It's not easy because the champions league itself  isn't all that friendly especially to new teams and I say this cause of the experience I have seen from most teams like Leipzig, Newcastle, and some others and all have failed to make any positive growth and that's why I don't feel any positive achievement will be made to their champions league campaign, but although am not sure for their Laliga journey but the champions league am sure that they will be knocked out.

179  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is Investing into crypto really safe? on: July 26, 2024, 07:37:33 PM
Crypto currency investment na risky kind of investment, because Several risk dey associated to this kind of investment, crypto currencies dey very volatile, come dey make crypto investors more vulnerable to losses,  but most persons no dey reason am , them invest in am heavily and most of them done cash out, and still most of them still loose money, crypto investment fit profit you or fit make you loose money before you close eye open, because the price fit climb or drop before you close eye open. E better to take the risk, but take the risk responsibly.
My brother e no get any thing wey risk no dey for this life, even if you wan open shop start to sell or even wan go school sef you go see na life itself na risk so Bitcoin investment is no difference except sha if you dey go put your body for things and coins wey no make sense and when you look at the crypto market then you go see a lot of them wey full there but if na Bitcoin you put your funds instead then I fit tell you say the risk is not as much as you see am.

It's true that they never miss the UCL, in fact every year they always bring in top players, their finances are stable which makes Madrid always the strongest candidate to win the UCL every season, this is what all clubs should set an example to be able to maintain the club's finances so that they can  Competing with big clubs, Barcelona should have to follow the example of its rivals in financial matters so that it is stable under any circumstances, it is difficult for Barcelona if financial matters always concern them because the problem lies there, so whatever happens Barcelona still has to compete even with current players.  At least Barcelona is always consistent in any league so that they always get a pot of money from sponsorships or player sales.

Continuing to build a strong team every season always gives Madrid more opportunities to win the Champions League and even their domestic trophies. That is the reason why Real Madrid is always a dream destination for many world-class players. Now, Real Madrid has made the Champions League their favorite trophy. I wish some top teams in Europe could be like Real Madrid; it would be a great thing. Barcelona always tries to strengthen their squad every season, but financial issues sometimes prevent them from doing so.If not for these financial problems, I believe Barcelona could strengthen their squad by adding world class players, just as Real Madrid has done against next season.
With the current financial issues that Barcelona are facing now it even an insult classing them among the likes of Real Madrid because Real Madrid for now is definitely the perfect team and with the inclusion of mbappe to their squad makes everything super and am sure even next season they will clinch the champions league again except maybe another steps up and challenge them but I think it's gonna be really hard although the team haven't yet blended in form.
