I didn't take my time to read your post, but from what I've summarized from it is that you are wrong. You shouldn't conclude from your own perspective about how the from works by saying that most newbies who post in the reputation board, Loan session, Meta, development and technical discussion, scam accusation and project development are misinterpreted or called Alts. I've literally not seen any reputation thread here on the forum where members make false accusations. expect for some that were misunderstood. All reputation thread that have been raised always comes with full proof and evidence of linked Alt accounts. So except a newbie is actually guilty of such I see no reason why he shouldn't engage in those sections you've listed above.

Of all the boards listed above i will pick out the Reputation and loan session board out where I have seen newbies been called alts and if I am asked to justify I will say some of the allegations/claims seems not to be far from the truth. Reason why they call accounts like that alts is because the informations on those boards aren’t general information which can be gotten just outside the forum and even if you come to the forum you can’t just get accustomed to rules there, it takes time first and that’s why newbies or newly created accounts are tagged alts when they meddle with discussions there.

As for other boards the informations are pretty outside the forum that you can gain knowledge and engage in their discussions here and I haven’t seen anyone call out a newly created account as an alt for crypto discussions

In my opinion he made a good choice, I hope he can play for a good Ligue 1 team. Manchester United is a team that has been destroying its players recently, they are very similar to Chelsea. In my opinion, the management of Manchester United needs to change and they need to restructure the team if they want to be a winning team capable of winning the premier league and attracting the attention of many good players. At this moment, any good player who agrees to play for Manchester United will have his career destroyed. Marcus Rashford should look for another good premier league team if he wants to have a good career. At Manchester United he will destroy himself

There is no denying the fact that Manchester United as a club has a poor recruitment process right from the top. The people in directors position aren’t that capable, they either sign a player for an overprice with a very high wage, or they go for old players or even sign players who play out of position. That’s why I think the new management under Sir Ratcliff seems to be on the right track to me. Re structuring those at the top before coming for the player and the coaching staff. Nobody is denying that.

But saying they ruin players careers i have to disagree most especially the two players you just cited; Martial and Rashford. Martial leaving is good for him and also the best thing for Manchester United. He hardly plays not that the coach benches him but because he is rarely fit. As for Rashford he seems not to get concerned about football and yet he still gets playing time. Is Manchester United the cause of their decline? They are one of the best players in the EPL a whooping &250k plus a week and still plays without their heart. If they are that exceptional excellent on the pitch many clubs would have come for them and they will have leave

I agree with Charle-Tim Binance always seems to be too overhyped when things like P2P are talked about. I don’t know for many but even before binance had issues with the federal government I had found comfort using KuCoin for my P2P trades and reason been the same as you are attacking Bybit for poor support response Same issue I had that time with Binance. KuCoin since then have been my best exchange for the P2P transactions, this doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have their own flaws too.

As for support problems concerning P2P all exchanges use to take time if both sides keeps pushing, some times they ask each party to contact their banks and it takes nothing less than 24 hours giving to reach out to them.

As for those that we’re trusting binance and kept there funds there they were doing the wrong thing and even if they move to another exchange again it is still wrong to trust exchanges. Don’t be deceived by the SAFU on binance take your money off any exchange before it is dangerous

Erik Ten Hag is just lucky that he recorded massive success in the first season he was at the club to the extent that the great Sir Alex Ferguson shared a meal with him. If this inconsistent Manchester United performance was in the first season, they would have searched a replacement for him already.
I do not agree that there are no other choices of coaches that could fill the position of coach for Manchester United if Ten Hag is sacked. The management of the club can lure any coach that has shown tactical intelligence with any team they are handling in any competition or league around the world. Some people never knew Erik Ten Hag before he became Manchester United coach.

Yes his first season was a like a success, guiding the club to a third place finish which qualified them for a champions league place, a trophy after like four seasons without winning any and also an FA cup final lost to Manchester United. This were what raised the hopes of many fans and they were expecting at least a title charge this season which didn’t happen due to the bad start of the season due to many circumstances like the club the having a change of ownership problem and also the multiple injuries he incurred during this time.

Should United offer Ten Hag a chance I will say he deserves that for a season with a better transfer back up this time
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 12, 2024, 11:42:18 PM

As a matter of fact, I am eager to see Victor Osimhen leave Napoli because his growth is what I'm rooting for and being in Napoli doesn't seem to be enough of opportunities and future for him there. So moving him away from that place to another more comfortable place would be the best thing to do.

In Chelsea or Manchester United, Victor Osimhen will be playing with a lot of A-list clubs in the world to fight for their Premier League and subsequently Champions League competitions. But Osimhen also needs a club that is highly promising and a club that would not practice racism or discrimination against him. If I were him, any next contract I'm signing, I would probably include some clauses that have to do with identity protection amongst people.

I think most of the people that want to see Victor Osihmen move is because they want him to go to a new league or a club where he is treated equally or at least protected or supported in the face of racism from the fans. Even at that Victor Osihmen will still have to make a choice of club where is growth is also possible like winning trophies, winning personal accolades and the rest. Osihmen already had said he love the both clubs Manchester United and Chelsea because as a Nigerian he grew up with this clubs been the biggest fan base. Yes if he moves to any of this clubs he will definitely be cherished most especially if he brings the A- game or performance he gives at Napoli to the club. But right now it seems both club wouldn’t be able to get him because he is rumored to have agreed personal terms with PSG and if it’s true is still a great deal to me.

But should he decide to pick any of the clubs Manchester United or Chelsea, I will say pick Chelsea instead as they seems to be having a trouble time getting a proper striker since Osihmen’s Idol Drogba left, at Manchester United they already have a striker who to me seems like a good fit for them and will only be needing a second striker for just cup games and probably few other games. Also the clause you talk about will be great but clubs can’t signed that because they can’t control the fans who throw this racist chants at the players
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 12, 2024, 11:23:46 PM
This is a very unfortunate match for Liverpool. I am amongst those that bid that Liverpool will make it to the finals and meet Bayern Leverkusen. This prediction was base on the experience that all teams have in European competitions and the team that will make it to the finals of the competition. Now that Liverpool have lost to Atalanta in their home, they should prepare to play a more interesting second leg match that is coming for them. This was suppose to be the easiest match for that day but it was a shame for Liverpool losing to Atalanta, i Just  hope they can revive and take the lead in the second leg in order to qualify for the next round  of the competition.

One thing about this European night’s football is the fact that it always comes with surprises like under dogs piping the favourites. Atlanta although in this case were underdogs but in reality they too are one of the competition favorites. Many people have piped Liverpool to the game most especially because it was Anfield, a place which is more like a fortress for them, but it happened that Atlanta was just too good in and lucky In the match to get those goals. Does Liverpool still have a chance, I will say mathematically yes they do but realistically I don’t see them pulling a comeback on this one. Three or more goals at the Atlanta home is something I don’t think they could pull out, I see Liverpool already blew this one already
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Some attributing factors to the high cost of petroleum products in Nigeria on: April 11, 2024, 10:47:40 PM

I don't know why your country's government removed fuel subsidies, but it is clear that as a result fuel prices have become more expensive. The country's political and economic situation allows the government to revoke subsidy regulations or reduce them, but by removing subsidies without anticipatory steps the economy appears to be getting worse. Society will suffer from it, so the situation will not be good.

Personally I see nothing bad in the removal of the subsidy, reason been that the subsidized resources are not been enjoyed alone in the country but also exported out to other neighboring countries and thereby still causing scarcity of the resources to the intended citizens. But the timing and execution of the removal was bad to me. You need to have put many things in order before going ahead on the idea. The first thing is the review of the citizens working Payment, since you are not going to pay more for the subsidy the citizens should get the benefit of it. The second also the most important thing for the removal is to have the countries own refinery so that they can regulate the price of products and not leaving it in the hand of private owners or other countries refineries.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 11, 2024, 10:33:26 PM
To me I don't feel that people are looking down on Arsenal just that due to previous seasons that people trusted Arsenal to a certain stage and they started flopping and losing out. Arsenal tried to play draw with Bayern Munich but we all saw that Arsenal could have won had it been they added more effort in the game but however, Arsenal performance recently is convincible because they have maintained a good form for a long time now so they are expected to win a trophy this season if they maintain in this impressive display.

Many Fans are not just looking down on Arsenal but rather they are trying to lessen the amount of disappointment they got las year before it happened again. Arsenal had similar advantage last season and blew it up, although this time around they are going to have to go against not just Manchester city but also Liverpool. With the way they have responded to been behind this season, coming back to win matches, less injury to the first team players when compare to the crisis they have last season at this stage. They seems to have the most difficult matches when compare too with their contenders but if they continue to be consistent just the way they have been playing since the start of the year, they might just get their first league trophy since years
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 11, 2024, 10:15:13 PM
I'm not surprised by this result, as I told you that the favorites don't always win. Atalanta may have caused many people to lose their bet slips today, but they did a great job. Liverpool can now focus on the Premier League rather than thinking about the Europa League. They're done here. They cannot turn around in Italy from 3-0. Good luck to Atalanta in the semi-finals. With Scamacca's two goals and Pasalic, Atalanta achieved a victory at Anfield Road that they will never forget for many years to come. Klopp's substitutions didn't yield results, Gasperini won the match without even making a change.

Majority of people we’re surprised to see the match ending in a comfortable position for Atlanta, the major thing of surprise was the fact that the humbling was at Anfield, yes football is a game of Loss and win, but not any club can boost to go to Anfield to score three goals. The Anfield is more like a sacred place for an opponent win. Now Atlanta can go home with a comfortable lead. Yes I have seen Liverpool overturn a 3-0 result before In European competition but was done in their own stadium. I doubt the same will happen now away from home.

As for the other game, the other English team Westham also lost to the most inform team in the all of Europe, the game was a great one considering how WestHam defended but another master class by Xabi Alonso changed the score. Alonso brought on both Boniface and Hoffman and they both scored the goals which put Alonso boys in a comfortable position coming to Olympic Stadium.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling or selling? on: April 11, 2024, 09:50:44 PM
There is a long period of time when the bitcoin price is at a rather high level, compared to the price a year ago
Some users have sold all their bitcoins as soon as the price became higher than the price at which they bought them
But i'm interested in the actions of those who bought their bitcoins more than 2-3 years ago and sold them now or are still hodling them
How did you find the strength and patience to resist this temptation?
Please answer people who hodl not $1-2k,but at least from $20k
After all,the fear of loss from investing $1k is much easier to bear than from investing $20k
For me this is the best indicator of inner strength and patience, because the greater the amount of investment, the greater the scale of his personality

Personally I don’t see anything wrong when it comes to the time or price that people sell off their bitcoin holding as long as you’re selling at a profit. Some of these investors that sell are those that have actually set a profit target and once it triggers they sell without hesitation. While some investors actually sold off their holdings not when they had pre Planned a longer a time to do it, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances that get them to sell, some of them will be happy to rather lose there bitcoin than borrowing money to sort out their emergency needs, which again is not a bad idea.

As for the ability of holding it for a very long term, I will say the first thing is to invest an amount you can afford to lose and as such it will reduce the tension of selling off when hit with either positive movement or negative movement.

I expected personally to see a draw between PSG and Barcelona since both teams aren't in their best form and I might be influenced by yesterday's games results.
Anyway, today's result is one step backward for PSG and they are now expected to leave from that stage.
PSG should seriously reconsider their strategy without Mbappe and with a new coach and maybe management as a whole.

I will tell you this i never expected nothing more or less from this PSG team, against any team in Europe top competition I don’t fancy them winning. When the draw was made I said the two Spanish teams will qualify because the other clubs aren’t that good when it is a champions league game. I will first of blame Enrique for the line up against Barcelona today most especially the attacking options. How can you spend over a 100 million on two class strikers (kolo muani and Goncalco Ramos) and you start none and then went ahead to start Mbappe in that row which he is always useless at.

It was simple Barcelona will target Mbappe because of his quality, start a striker alongside him to give the central defenders a little work and this get Mbappe free and able to run down defenders

I agree with you, it’s time for a PSG rebuild too without Mbappe, he looks not interested in the club anymore. Partying ways looks the best to me
172  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Is Dollar The Cause? on: April 10, 2024, 10:42:51 PM
I dy ask nah Dollar cos this one too bcos plenty piple dy homeless becos them no fit afford wetin house owners dem dy call as price.

Wetin be the main reason for this particular one?

To me there is inflation in Nigeria not just because of the dollar/ Naira currency saga but other factors too. The clear one to me is the oil and gas prices that are high most especially the popular petrol, if you look at the increase in this area you will see that it affects things local than even the dollar raise. An increase in price of petrol automatically increases the transportation prices and if this increases every sector also faces an increase.

Take for example a farmer who spends more in either transporting his goods to the market or even during the cultivation (irrigational farmers) he will definitely hike his own produce prices. Same thing applies to industries they rely on secondary power sources like through gas or petrol to make production and the higher the prices of this energy source the more they increase their products costs to meet up with demand.

As for housing sectors you see increase in the house rents because the owners are trying to meet up with the price of stuffs in the market and since there is no standard housing regulations they just increases it as they pleased
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: April 10, 2024, 02:23:47 PM
If you had followed the valuable advice your friend gave you 14 years ago today and invested in Bitcoin, we wouldn't be regretting it today. But there is still time to invest in Bitcoin and you should invest before 2030 Bitcoin reaches million dollars. If you can invest now then you too have a chance to become a millionaire after 2030.

We are giving a bad narrative to bitcoin when we tell them outrightly that they will become billionaires when we why invest into bitcoin for some time frame. Even the OP’s friend who had advice him to invest in 2010 i am sure didn’t tell him that he will he millionaire because it will be a tricky predictions. The OP even if he invested then might have even cashout in his thousands and wouldn’t have let it to ride to millions.

From that years down to now I don’t think the OP would tell me he is still in denial that this coin will go far, if he is then it will be hard to convince him at this stage. But should he consider buying now I wouldn’t tell him he will be rich because that will depend on the amount he buys with and how patient he keeps them. The volatility nature of bitcoin has reduce and we wouldn’t be able to do the percentage moves it did in its early stages. So OP invest and hold for long and if it turns out well you will be a millionaire.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 10, 2024, 01:57:28 PM
Real Madrid, which is known as a strong team because of its history of having an arch enemy, namely Barcelona, they have their own characteristics, but when they met Man City they seemed to have difficulties as you said with Man City having more possession of the ball it proves that Man City is not a team that is easy to beat, especially since we all know that Man City is a strong team this season, not just this season. Even in previous seasons they were a strong team.

If they can match Real Madrid, it proves that they have a strong performance. I don't underestimate Real Madrid because Real Madrid also has a good performance with their game  maybe in the second leg Real Madrid will win,  but I doubt that but we don't know because it can't be predicted so let's just wait for the results.  What is clear is that these two teams will definitely show their best game to be able to win the match even though they are facing a strong team.

Exactly Madrid is the best team when it comes to champions league football and every team gets scared of them but you see Manchester city they have been the team in the whole season f Europe for the past three seasons now. And one thing is Madrid as a team still struggle to play well against a team managed by Pep Guardiola. Madrid do not like the tiki taka pattern teams play, they want a fast football game and that’s one area were we also see every Pep’s team falling short. If you watched yesterday immediately Manchester city started controlling the midfield or had more balls in possession it became a little bit difficult for Madrid to bring out their game and when Madrid took the gear on and started their fast attack they scored two quick fire goals same as Manchester city too.

The second leg will be also filled with goals but for Madrid playing away from home it looks like it will be difficult for them. On history they don’t beat city at home and city are on winning streak both at home. Although we can’t compare the fan base of Madrid to that of city to say that Etihad will be difficult for Madrid but even the small number is fans Will different try to make it loud to have a revenge on Madrid for closing down their stadium yesterday. I will still say the game is still tight but city is above in terms of quality and home advantage at the moment
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 09, 2024, 11:13:46 PM

Manchester United needs to change coaches when everything doesn't go according to plan or has failed over the years, but considering that Erik Ten Hag can still be relied on quite a bit, I think they will still keep him for a long time. There wasn't much the red devils could do but trust each other for now.

I think I like the new revolution brought about by Sir Jimmy. I don’t quite agree with the Changing of Coaches every time things don’t go the way the club wants. If you look at the hierarchy you will see people occupying positions that shouldn’t be meant for them.

They have been more than 3 managers who we all know were doing great in their respective clubs before moving to Manchester United and they ended up getting sacked with records not too good for their CV. Let the top officials be changed for the first time and give the faces chance and we see the changes they can effect. If the manager then after been given the players and supports he wants fails to deliver then they can show him the exit way.

Also I think the scouting team for Manchester United need to do more, they shouldn’t be after just any player on the market and spending millions on players who will turn out to be flood at the end of the day. Also more trust should be placed under the Academy boys, the likes of Mainoo and Kwambala have saved us lots of money this season and possibly in the future

I dey feel you too bro because trading no be for everybody, e better make you stay your lane and do the way wey you sabi do. Regards to staking, you no go fit stake btc but you fit stake some others but there return too no go too dey much. I know say you fit stake dogecoin, cartesi, shiba etc, you fit check for binance.

Binance is a centralized platform and as such for you to stake anything you need to hold your coins on that wallet for the minimum number of time you want to stake. Same thing as bitcoin can be done centralized exchanges too but to me that’s more like a lending something than staking, least amount of days was 21 last time I Checked. The profits earned also is very small compared to leaving your coins on any exchange because no exchange is too big not to collapse.

Although, Doge developers may move from PoW to PoS but I do not think that has been done and doge is still using PoW. Or is doge now using PoS?

Doge is still using POW mechanism and it’s even the second larger behind bitcoin on the mechanism. So staking on happens on CEX which looks more like a lending thing na staking.

As for OP my advice is to just hold your coin in peace and for long time so you don’t lose it chasing how to make more profit.

Two tough, energy sapping games for Arsenal and Man City. Hopefully the intensity starts to mean they drop poijts in the PL, would really help Liverpool out 😇.

Maybe Arsenal aren’t so impregnable after all, Bayern made their defence look a lot more ordinary than most PL teams have done for a while.

Some cracking goals in the other game in Spain, wow.

I know you would be happy seeing both clubs taking it down to the wire so that they could be stretched out and they could easily lose pace in the race but you have forgotten that the Europa League awaits you too. And you are probably the one without much of a break in terms of games to be played.

The games today were definitely excellent, end to end stuff, teams matching each other tenacity. This two games were fitting to be a stage higher than this, something like a semi final. Manchester city were there selves today as for Arsenal they lacked a little composure and players like Saka and Saliba should have done more.

Hey LFC_Bitcoin I am sure you say the penalty waved away against Neur today, what now did you Make of that dubious penalty you got in the weekend  Smiley
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Accepting Bitcoin for paying tax on: April 09, 2024, 02:39:36 PM

Switzerland is also crypto friendly nation so I guess it can depend on the state of a country.

That’s definitely why they have actually agreed to accept the payment in bitcoin because a country whose government is stern on bitcoin wouldn’t allow its communities or states pay taxes in bitcoin. My question now is what do they do with the bitcoin, do they hold or they convert it straight up to fiat currency?

But the major disadvantage about it is that you might end up paying even more than person paying with the fiat, because after paying your tax with Bitcoin, you will definitely be pay the higher transaction fee attached to it, which will be very much expensive compared to the fiat.

Transaction fee is always brought up every time bitcoin been use for payment discussions are made, I will always say this as long as it isn’t compulsory to use just bitcoin for a particular payment that is other currencies are also acceptable I will go for others when it is a small amount of money involved. I will only use bitcoin when it is the easiest of options left to me
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 08, 2024, 10:31:50 PM

Kimmich had a conflict with Tuchel and throughout the season he was most likely dissatisfied with both his position in the club and the results of Bayern. What is the point for him to engage in gambling (wait for a new coach and find out how he will treat him) if he supposedly wants to go to Arsenal? He has contact until 2025, and even if the compensation amount is high, Bayern will 100% let him go cheap, since in a year he will leave for free.

Kimmich to Arsenal, wow I never actually assumed or predicted such move by Arsenal, this to me is definitely a very wild card move and if Arsenal gets this done it will be a very good acquisition to me. The Arsenal midfield option is currently too poor for a club chasing the league and other European competitions. Declan Rice seems to be the only defensive midfielder always available for selection in matches, players like Jorginho aren’t worthy of starting just every game and should anything happen to Rice Jorginho to me wouldn’t leave up to expectations. With Joshua Kimmich they have a versatile player who can play across the midfield and also as a full back. He is also experienced Beyond limit and his experience will do well in that Arsenal midfield. They need him to replace the always injured Thomas Partey
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 08, 2024, 10:13:45 PM
In this situation I don't think it matters so much where they play, if they are really ready to seriously fight for the championship in such a hard fought game at the end of the season - then they will cope with the pressure of playing away. It's actually nice to see them playing so well for the second season already, in the past they were hampered by injuries to players, in this one nothing has hampered them so far

The thing is playing at home gives you the edge of your fans backing you against just anybody, going away is tricky at the current moment in the league. The away fans might actually be a nuisance especially when it is that of a rival, they push the home team to win. Arsenal or the other clubs coming to fight for the title needs to up their games and prepare themselves more when visiting the away side. A clear example is the resilience of the Manchester United team that almost snatched a win against Liverpool at old Trafford, should that game been played at Anfield it will have gone at least a more favourable way than it is now. This is not to say that the home games are easy to play but not as complicated as the away games
