I think this would qualify to be on "americas dumbest criminals" even though it happened in the UK.
162  Other / Off-topic / Re: Proxy/VPN/Tor detection on: July 27, 2014, 04:38:29 AM
Do you have a problem with tor users? Or you're just afraid of legal implications?
I have a lot of problems with Tor users.
You could probably just block known TOR exit nodes to solve most of your problems. There are so many proxies and VPNs, and they are always popping up that you will never be able to stop them all.
163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK to decriminalize file sharing on: July 24, 2014, 11:07:40 AM
That definitely doesn't make any sense at all. Why would it be illegal? It's like a library, only remotely and easily accessible, with loads more information. There is nothing wrong with file sharing....

You are right, there is nothing wrong with the act of file sharing, trouble is when people are sharing copyrighted files.
This is accurate, there is no real need to do this. File sharing on a P2P level is very inefficient and puts users at risk of getting infected with a virus
164  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No satellite recording from missile launch flash. on: July 24, 2014, 02:11:48 AM
Flash is secondary, working radar is easy to see too. No radar detection from that area.
I am pretty sure that radar is the way that intelligence sources were able to determine where the missile was launched from.
165  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israeli think tank suggests raping Arab women to deter suicide bombers on: July 24, 2014, 02:04:55 AM
Israel is the worst of the worst and the US is their biggest ally. Israel has sunken to a comparable level as Nazi Germany imo. I don't understand everyone is crying about Russia so much when Israel is free to commit genocide.
I wouldn't go this far. The think tank just made a suggestion as to how to prevent bombings. They did not say that it would be good to actually do it.
166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US health care mandate (Obamacare) on: July 24, 2014, 01:33:08 AM
The path to hell is paved with good intentions.  Obama espoused his good intentions of having everybody covered for a low cost.  The reality is this cannot happen, especially when all other insurance in the US is for catastrophes - not day to day expenses.  Health insurance shouldn't cover well child visits or annual checkups - those the patient should be paying for.... but that would require the patient be responsible for their own fricking body - something I see in less than 20% of my patients now.

Obamacare was supposed to fail from the start. The failure is not an option. Obama never had any "good" intentions whatsoever. Let insurances compete across state lines, let the free market boost quality of services and technology in medicine and healthcare. They wanted a single-payer health care from the start but thought obamacare would be loved by many if they stick long enough with it, if they let many jump in no matter if there were massive fraud or not (in my next post). Only the number of people under obamacare was kept as the only good matrix of success. Obamacare has nothing to do with helping anyone. This a program created for total population control for the benefit of government, not for helping patients and those in need. Just look at the VA scandal: this is the future of obamacare.
I don't think the liberals wanted obamacare to fail from the start, but the law was very poorly designed and never had any chances of success.

// Seems as a Putin's fault again.

Is there any official version?
I don't think putin has been blamed for this one. It appears this is more of an accident.

170  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Lloyds Bank Account Forcibly Closed on: July 22, 2014, 12:24:34 AM
It's a little hard to determine whether it was shut because of using it for Bitcoin or because it was overdrawn. Anyone else want to test out this theory?
it was likely because he had a large amount if money going into and out of his account compared to his average daily balance
171  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Australian is getting ready to regulate bitcoin on: July 22, 2014, 12:11:58 AM
This should help give bitcoin some level of legitimacy and hopefully will help people want to start using bitcoin
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 18, 2014, 05:28:41 AM
Well, the only way Bitcoin can growth is by regulation.

how can you be so absolutely sure about that?

By regulations ? Really? Do you think when gov will put their hands on Bitcoin transactions you will be happy and watch the rally ? Smiley

You must be kiddin.

BTC is going to continue to grow with (or without) regulation.   There is too much momentum and too much money being thrown at it not to.
I think that a little bit of regulation will be helpful to bitcoin. I expect it to rally as a result of the NYC regulations
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone have the same idea with me, the bitcoin prices in November this year on: July 18, 2014, 05:18:40 AM
Does anyone have the same idea with me, the bitcoin prices in November this year will be the same as last year

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Please wait and see
I am hoping that it will be much higher this November then it was last November.

If we have another bubble it could easily be 5 times as much
