I've already accidentally sent some XCT to the Bitcoin network. Had to retrieve them with the private key and a Bitcoin wallet.
You can do it with the following method :
In the Windows XCT wallet, go to :
HELP DEBUG WINDOW CONSOLE Bottom of the page to the Command Line type in the Command line the following :
dumpprivkey"space""XCT target address"
where "space" is a space and "target address" is the XCT address that you accidentally sent your coins to the Bitcoin network using or the private keys of the XCT address you want.
The resulting PRIVATE KEY is used to unlock the bitcoin address on the Bitcoin network and recover the coins so that you can send the coins back to a BTC wallet address under your control.

Amazing, being able to dump a private key of a public key you accidentally sent coins to. Ground breaking stuff here. Let me restate what I did. I stated it wrong the first time. I actually sent BTC to an XCT address. So the BTC went out over the BTC network thinking the XCT address was a BTC address. It went to no-one, but was just sitting there. I had to recover the private key and go out into the Bitcoin blockchain and find the address and recover the BTC using the private key, then send the BTC back to a real BTC address in my wallet. yeah not sure how you got those coins stuck but you should be able to get them back with a reindex or salvage.. i dont see that tx on the c-bit blockchain. are you sure you sent them to a c-bit address and not bitcoin? if you accidentally sent them to a bitcoin address you can export the privkey and import into your cbit wallet. which is good.

Bluetrade is off my list. If someone else wants to deal with them, go ahead. I am on a roll, it seems. I've just spent an hour going round and round in circles.
I've signed up three times, under three different e-mail accounts. All three times I reached the "Support" ticket stage and was rejected at the password point. The only way to contact them about listing a coin is thru the support ticket. The system said my password was wrong and would I like to reset it. I said yes, then it said my account didn't exist and kicked me out of the site. I tried to relog in and wasn't allowed to, so I became a new client, only to repeat the whole experience all over again. I give up.
On to the next place.
By the way, I have had one success today.
Cryptopia.com has taken C-bit into its' initial phase of review for listing. There is review by their developers, then if it passes that review, it is listed on a one-week board for community vote ( points-based , if enough votes - listed ). I'll make sure it gets enough votes.
William Martens Founder C-bit
Who is the "Developer" on this project -- Whoever that person is should be the one reaching out to the exchanges. Good news about Cryptopia though.. baby steps. i've always disagreed with this.. i think it's up to the community. exchanges don't listen to a developer in my experience, they want to know their clients want the coin listed. of course every dev wants their coin listed on all exchanges, but that isnt promising the exchange anything. if their clients request it, then they know theyll see trade fees coming in.

Well, board, I don't understand Yobit. I've filled out their forms. Paid them their Yobit dollars; or at least bought them and submitted them to them. Submitted their required items. Requested three different times this week answers as to why no progress, with no answers to any requests. It seems as though it will take multiple people, requesting multiple times, with multiple Yobits, with multiple BTC, with multiple communication, before you might get their attention.
Sorry. Don't know what else to do to get listed on their exchange.

if you've already paid them i will ask them about it right now. it's not going to take anything else.

As for the pool payouts.. if you don't mind me asking are you mining with a sizable amount of power? The block spacing has decreased a lot but if you have enough hash power you should probably be seeing some payments, unless the blocks are just waiting to be confirmed. Since the blocks are actually being solved slightly slower than the target right now, if the pool has 120 confirms or whatever # they chose, you could just be waiting for a while to see those first payments. There's just not much of an interface to look at there so it's difficult to tell.
There is a contact form on the site you can try.
That is no problem to ask at all. I am mining with about 5-7TH for ~ 26hrs now. My address is the 1LmyakHYJnaK99jD9pd72RgASpCpZuhPJY you an see it on http://bravo.btc-bit.com/workers . I have still received no payout as of now. 1 ) Working on finding the information regarding the BRAVO pool. Will have something as soon I have it, and will post it.
Any word on this Martens? It really seems like I should have recieved some XCT by now. Either I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding something or its not working correctly. Thanks! Pending Blocks 27 Confirmed Blocks 2044 id imagine when you see pending blocks go down, and confirmed go up, you'd get paid

Guys its ok. Bank_sy isn't even being that critical but he could stop repeating himself at this point because I don't think a satisfactory explanation as to why he should change his mind is going to pop up, nor is it necessary for you guys to come up with one. You should realize though that from outside perspective he really just wants to find a reason to get involved with your coin and to see it degrade into a sort of argument is probably just because of the forum format, anonymity, etc. So chill on that. Maybe a better explanation of some of the whitepaper things will come in the future. Now someone answer my question above about the bravo pool please how long have you been waiting? you're aware the blockchain needs like 100 confirms before you are paid right?

none the less i like where this is going.

they're just using secp256k1.. what's special about it? just stop whining so much and wait then, if you are "waiting to see what happens" here.. or does waiting involve trolling and nitpicking?

I can easily make a copy and paste bitcoin clone and change block size to 2 MB and increase max supply to 210,000,000. This is all you have achieved so far so please do not say you have 'done anything'. I repeat, once you actually present something 'noteworthy', then you can continue with your grand claims. I am simply calling it as I see it. Am I wrong? I did not mine any of this coin because 2MB and 210m supply alone is not appealing enough... not to mention how you are working towards centralization.
why are you even here then? obviously most of us in this thread are interested. if you aren't, why not just leave? contribute something positive or take your jaded self elsewhere lol

i'm already a fan.. the new bitcoin .12, 10x the supply, larger blocks, brand new.
you are funny. there is absolutely 0 reason to currently think that this is different than any other shitcoin. only thing worth noting currently is 2MB block size but even that is not a big deal. well bitcoin is centralized and with all the drama, lately a headache. plus this is obviously built on core .12, which is pretty damn new, and most shitcoins are not. i like the analogy that this is like dogecoin to litecoin with the supply being alot larger. i see it as an early opportunity, and im entitled to my opinion, right?
