See, that doesn't really work. You claim to have never sold any of your coins, but still turned a profit of more than 100% by cost averaging your way down from 250k to 18k (which would have to be your cost average to end up with 100% in profit) with the coin barely hitting a bottom of 15k. That's mathematically impossible, unless the amount of coins you bought above 18k is negligible, or you invested WAY more than 3 BTC at 16k. Ps: i am not pressing the ignore button, i shouldn't be quoting shitty fud attempts.

Well, the point is that the average cost of your coins(including those you bought at 16k) is likely far greater than its current value, unless you "panic sold" on the way down from the ATH. So you're not really "already up 100%". Correct? I'm specifically referring to this quote, which I edited into my last post a bit too late: Only the strong hands will survive, the coin is proven, if you don't panic, you will be rewarded.

To be precise, I'm not criticising the fact that DRK is not currently open sourced. I know it will and it's planned. Perfect ! I just want to see the code and inspect it. And I just have the feeling that we'll see a big spaghetti and it'll be demolished by other reviewers (not just Kristov Atlas). Kristov( "catlasshrugged") is actively discussing the coin with the developers and providing constructive criticism on the darkcointalk forums right now, so I doubt he is going to "demolish" the code he has already seen anytime soon. But I guess you'll be able to do that yourself once RC5 is released.  |

I just read that article. It was supposedly written on August 27th, but is severely outdated and factually incorrect. Just one example: 8. The Darksend issue Darksend is a DarkCoin technology employed to surpass a deficiency which is not a main concern for 99% of users, and apparently it can be fixed with an easy proxy protocol analysis, since the root of the problem is IP tracking. However, Darksend is limited to 10 DRK. It needs 3 parties to mix up the coins, and since it is in beta stage, it is limited to 10 DRK. It is like using a Kalashnikov to kill a fly. There is no 10 DRK limit for Darksend, and there hasn't been since the release of RC4 on August 13th. The Author seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that many features he is criticizing have been completely redesigned weeks ago. There isn't even a mention of the denomination aspect of the new Darksend protocol, which renders a lot of his points invalid. The article seems to pick its content from other outdated articles/threads about Darkcoin, but the author seems to have done very little "investigating" of his own. EDIT: It also doesn't even mention the DarkTor feature, which has been announced on August 19th. Which is also the date on which Evan Duffield announced that the next release(RC5) would be open source, another aspect that the author criticized in the article: To make things worse, Darksend is not an open-source because it痴 not completed yet. This goes against the basic principles of the digital currency movement. What did they think, that the users will not notice? |

At the peril of being called a "paid DRK shill" and "FUDDER": There are 4.6 million DRK, each of them worth about $ 2.30, and 4.5 million CLOAK, each of them worth about $ 0.18 0.16. DRK is literally 12 14 times more "valuable" than CLOAK, so how can you call DRK financially dead, if CLOAK is not? The Dagger will release another PDF with even more buzzwords and fancy graphics. And it will contain the date for the next PDF after that, which will announce the release date for yet another PDF. About the volume: that's normal no buy and no sell --> 0 volume. No one wants to sell now and everybody has their pocket loaded with CLOAK.
So why is the price at the bottom if everybody is all in CLOAK waiting for the next release? Well, actually below the bottom(30k), according to you. You want to talk about the price ? Ok, it's simple. It's a fucking BOTTOM and THAT'S WHERE YOU BUY !!!!  Furthermore, if everybody has their pockets loaded with CLOAK and doesn't want to sell right now in anticipation of the launch on 10/9/2014 ... what happens to the price if the launch gets delayed, canceled or ends in a disaster and people actually DO want to sell? |

That adress has hundreds of transactions going in and out 24/7 for the last couple of days. I only see three possible explanations for that:
a) You are a lifeform that doesn't require sleep
b) A bot does most of the trading without your input
c) It's not actually your adress, but one you picked at random from the richlist to appear more credible

A little bird told me there will be an announcement very soon on next steps of which are very very positive. We will see a quick rise. We may even get close to XC which I'm also currently invested in. Buy now while its dirt cheap. You won't be disappointed. Because your "little bird" turned out to be such a valuable source 1 1/2 weeks ago? Word on the street (can't reveal source) that dump is finishing up. We will see gradual uptrend over the next few days. Once bitcoin recovers, sky is the limit folks.
