Is this still on-going in the background?

Apologies that I've neglected the thread - been too busy in general in recent weeks We are now working on getting some final Android testing done. iOS appears to all be ok and passed. So once we've got Android done, we'll be submitting to the respective production stores for release. Website update is on-going in the background, one of the community is busy with that (highly appreciated). More news in due course.

So as per Slack and Discord updates, we are now moving into getting the wallet released via the Apple Store. Would be prudent first though to at least ask some of the community to test it, hence my request via Slack and Discord for some assistance with this. So let me know via those routes please if you're interested in assisting with this. Then, provided there are no lasting problems, we will then move to prod release!

Sorry for the silence, been tweaking the mob wallets and now need to spend time with the iOS dev to agree testing. We've defined the colours at least although to be honest that's not really so important The thing works, that's the important aspect so now we are embarking upon the focussed testing and getting it released into the store.

So what do people want from the website? Now that the wallets are entering the final stages, I'm open to looking at the website. Masternodes may follow if the wallets prove successful also but the website is something which can be updated more immediately.

Full send and receive func in the wallets is now working. We are still working though to ensure restoring wallets does not lose coins, so we need a little longer in order to make them market-hardened and resilient enough for our needs.

We've got both send and receive working now, we are now 'cleaning' up the wallets and adding some extra func. Not sure how long it will take to get them submitted through Apple on the iOS side but so far, so good.

Blockchain moving again #heavyminers prohashing source is happy so clean blockchain.
I'll be looking to publicize via Facebook and Twitter again in the next week or so. We've ironed out a couple more bugs in the mobile wallets this week, just now finishing off send func and we will - FINALLY - be there!
That Sounds great! Really happy for you DEV but Why the massive Dump? I will keep supporting the project ! You’d have to ask the people that sold.

It never fails to amuse me how people equate no updates with a dev who has pissed off Suppose that's what happens with other coins, but I've said before that I will carry through the roadmap I said I would, and that is what we are doing. If that's not clear by now then I don't suppose it ever will be and the doom-mongerers will continue Developing Android (and iOS specifically) wallets is a bastard nightmare We have the wallet running, but deleting the wallet then re-installing it is, at the moment, is also losing the coins which it has received. And that's something we are trying to avoid since we need the coins to be stored decoupled from the wallet, as per client-side installs. We're also having fun and games with certs, expiry dates and so on. Note that I've paid somebody hard cash to develop these wallets, so I want them to be correct. Not going to release something which is half-arsed.

why is diff so high? ( diff 293M )
That is the nature of blockchains, it will change.

how should I name the conf file?
socialcoin.conf

Yes the logo has always been pretty basic, granted. As for the website, it seems to serve the purpose for the moment but when time allows I will get it updated, cheers.

But the Windows wallet file does not work Can I use a platform wallet? Do you mean it doesn't sync with the blockchain, or you cannot open it, full stop? I tested the download on another, unrelated machine. And it was fine. Which problem are you having, specifically?

OP updated with new wallet hosting locations.

SOCC exchanging on Yobit is not affected by the fork, in any way. So don't worry about it. Updated mobile wallet screen print uploaded to Slack (easier to just do that from my 'phone ) Note that until the blockchain moves again (diff is high currently, I will be firing up my GTX1070 parallel rig this evening in order to assist kicking it forward) coins won't show as new/moved on Yobit.

Not yet, but I'm getting there Give me another few days.

The iOS wallet connects to the blockchain and works! Be sure to check out the Slack group for screen prints. We’re getting there

So the Android mob wallet works, but the iOS one is giving us problems. We want to get them both working for the release, so bear with us for a bit longer please.
