My phone is not generating coins while screen locked. Is it normal?

Looks like I have the same problem. It was not the case with previous version. Same here. Mining isn't working like before. Hey guys, With MangoCoinz v0.4.5 came a new difficulty that is 5 times the previous v0.4.4. I've just checked with my phone, and I can mine with the screen locked. Today I've been to college and back and I've mined about 1.21 MCZs. Please try to lock your phone and shake it around a bit, but before you do that please remember the amount of coins you had. I'd like documentation on the API please.
Currently testing on Android but am conserned about the fraud protection your teem is using; the Xposed tool sweet could very easily spoof new motion data and Android ID and make new usernames upon cap limits. And also conserned with Man in the middle attacks on any network; 3G, 4G and wifi, hoepfully there's suffisant levels of encryption between app and cloud.
I'm willing to aid in running a "full node" when (if) you're ready to go P2P because I happen to be an Android user with unlimited data ;-)

If you do this we will give you the API manual. From the very start we thought about the MITM (Man In The Middle) attack, and we can say that we have a sufficient level of encryption between the app and the cloud. As for the Xposed Installer app for rooted Android phones and other methods of spoofing, we can say that we are currently working of mitigating the risks of spoofing. anyone try putting there phone in a paint shaker? seriously though...
I placed my phone on an oscillating fan while I slept one night...was good for a little less than two coins. Keeping my phone on me as I do things seems to work well enough though I did notice that the difficulty is indeed increased. Simple shakes for a few seconds return far less than previous... The rarity of this coin will be interesting in the next months... also one thing to point out is that when the screen turns off on my phone (currently set to 15 secs) I stop receiving - are there plans to fix this in the future.. I'd rather not kill my battery by keeping my phone's back light on the whole time I'm trying to 'stake' Strange, this didn't happened so far. Hey coinking, Your MangoCoinz username is your address. For now there are no plans for a desktop wallet. We only have plans to make an iPhone app in the near future. Are there plans to add other exchanges, I'd rather not keep my coinz on any exchange but keeping them on my phone doesn't reassure me anymore than keeping them on an exchange.. what happens if I lose my phone? Hey Xdragon, All coins that were mined with previous versions will remain on the phone and can be synced with the latest version. Please don't uninstall the app from the phone because you will lose your coins. Just go to MangoCoinz on Google Play and click on update. Srele for openness, can you disclose the daily sync limit imposed on different releases since launch?
Hey jasemoney, If I understand correctly, you are asking if the daily sync limit has been changed in the different releases of MangoCoinz? If it's so, then I can answer that there hasn't been any decreases in the daily sync limit since the beginning of MangoCoinz. The limit was and still is 10 MCZ/day, but that will change soon. What's new in MangoCoinz v0.4.4: 1) We removed the permissions for the app to access the external (media) storage of the device. This was a concern that a user here on bitcointalk.org had and we addressed this by removing it because at the moment we are not using it. It was left over back when we used it in the earlier iterations of the app. 2) We introduced a 1% transaction fee. This is a one-time per transaction sending fee that the sender pays. Think of this as a motorway toll. These MangoCoinz will be used for improving the system and making sure that everything is running as it should.
