Yes, I almost believed and was planning on investing some $20 but as it turned out....

You are too new. You have to learn a lot - but that's a good thing.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Monero was almost Free. Did you at least 50x your coins' worth? on: January 19, 2017, 11:48:06 PM

Monero at $0.24,  are you folks insane?  Almost free.

This is the chance of a lifetime to become wealthy.  Anyone who isn't buying these up... thank me later for my suggestion.

There is a bright, bright future for Monero.

No need for all the private messages thanking me.

Actually, it really was common sense at the time.

Enjoy!   Every dollar invested multiplied by 50, nice!

Cool

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder how much XMR is actually used on the DNM on: September 19, 2016, 08:13:01 PM
Can you buy guns with xmr?

Yes, you can. But why would you? Don't buy guns, guns are bad. Head over to the DNM and buy Ecstasy instead.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero under 25 cents? What the hell are you waiting for? on: August 24, 2016, 06:22:27 PM
To all the smart folks who listened at 0.25$: enjoy!

Monero is still nowhere near its price potential, still heavily undervalued, nowhere near its ATH.  Still a strong buy at this point.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Charles Hoskinson at Coinscrum on Blockchain 3.0 on: July 16, 2016, 11:54:53 AM
It's called having a descriptive thread name. You should try it some time.
I don't think that's particularly descriptive.

And why exactly is my weight relevant to this conversation?
Excuse me! It's not relevant to this conversation. I've simply gone through the same. My life was much more sluggish when I was that size. It's good for the brain to purge a bit, especially in smart brain individuals like yourself. No offense meant by any means, it could be very important for a prosperous future!

PS    I have enjoyed your Udemy course on Bitcoin back in 2013. Thank you
Edit  Geez! it has almost 60K students now
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Charles Hoskinson at Coinscrum on Blockchain 3.0 on: July 16, 2016, 11:34:40 AM
Why do you often write about yourself in third person? Need some more attention on that ego?

Ease up, lose some love handles and attention will come your way naturally! No worries

This guy is a reverse shill and we disown him from the Monero community

I am not whatever you call me.

I don't know who you are or what your agenda is but please keep brazen offtopic comments like this out of my topic.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Theymos: I do think that MONERO is probably the BEST altcoin right now on: July 07, 2016, 07:13:12 AM
I do think that Monero is probably the best altcoin right now, since it actually does something major that Bitcoin doesn't, even if its scaling is terrible and it'll probably be replaced by a Bitcoin sidechain someday. Achieving Monero-style anonymity for everyone should be a long-term goal of Bitcoin.

Even the administrator of Bitcointalk considers Monero the best altcoin.

Price under $2.  Staggering potential!

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 06, 2016, 09:10:51 PM
Monero is only $ 1.90   right now which is a steal. The $23,470,978 market cap only speaks for a rise to $100, $1000 M.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Waves on: July 06, 2016, 09:06:34 PM
If you want to earn Waves you can do one thing, mine other minable coins and trade them for Waves, Monero, IOTA and ARDOR.

If you're not interested in premine and ico-schemes, please look at Monero. It is open, fair and private. Untraceable.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 06, 2016, 09:04:12 PM
Very interesting project and so cheap now....

I agree, LISK is very cheap right now.

If you're interested in cheap coins apart from LISK, you should definitely give Monero a try. It's untraceable!
174  Other / New forum software / Re: Monero Sub on: July 06, 2016, 09:02:46 PM
Thank you for making this clear.

Ok, I'm not going to wait for a Monero subforum to appear on Bitcointalk. I understand that this forum is and will stay Bitcoin-focussed and that's all right.  I respect that.

U can just use Monerotalk @ https://monerotalk.org if u wanna discuss Monero.

Monero is actually very unpopular here on the Bitcointalk

~CfA~

I don't use that forum actually. I prefer Bitcointalk because all the people are here. It's a better environment. Without privacy there is no freedom Smiley And Bitcointalk gives us all privacy by liberty.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEAL: no ICOs, no proof-of-work, no proof-of-stake, no governance, and no forks on: June 27, 2016, 06:36:53 PM
Why do you believe that you know what is ideal? How can you be so sure of what you say?

Do you think you're (a) god?

I stated these are my ideals. I didn't state that everyone must agree with my ideals.

Okay I see, that makes sense and that's perfectly legit of course. Interesting topic!
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: June 27, 2016, 06:35:42 PM
I've never received Bitcoin accidentally and if I had I would have sent it back. Simple as that.

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Did you know FUD can be nuetralized ? on: June 27, 2016, 06:32:12 PM
Could you please elaborate what this topic is about? What is the meaning of "nuetralized"? Is this a Spoetnik™ neologism?
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support ICOs? on: June 27, 2016, 06:29:16 PM
Yes. They allow the devs to hit the ground running regarding finances so that they can concentrate on doing what they do best, developing.

Monero is an example of a coin that was launched fairly without ICO and is one of the most developed cryptocurrencies available today. Raising millions of dollars in funding doesn't have to mean that worthwhile development is the result. Look at Ethereum and the DAO, raised millions, failed miserably.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: June 27, 2016, 06:27:41 PM
Bitcoin's mining may be centralized due to the Chinese mining monopol. But fear not, you're always welcome to switch to Monero.
