Companies more and more should be asking themselves "What's your bitcoin strategy?"
Ok, I saved you from having to read the article. You're welcome.

Naming a piece of hardware that acts like an encrypted wallet? Call it the homer.
Because
1. even an idiot can now use it and be secure 2. one of the earliest authors deserves some credit. Shoulders of giants, and so on.

Maybe the heat given off will be enough to keep some miners going through this winter. The amount saved in heating could help offset the cost of electricity. Whether or not ASIC is a myth, GPUs are coming to an end in the next 6 months.

Sure it will, why not? Will it be the most efficient at it? nope. Does it make sense to try it out? nope.

It's funny cause it's not true.

1990s, yep, but maybe that's what you're going for. Also, popups?! come on. nobody wants to remove adblocker, especially when being told to do so.

I wouldn't worry too much about profitability. I think of it like those computers setup to run SETI@HOME. The difference is that with Bitcoin you're helping to secure the network AND you get a little sumthin' sumthin' back. Even after ASIC penetration I think we'll still see people hashing from their laptop GPUs for the same reason they would run SETI@HOME. In both cases it means you're a part of something great and you're making a quantifiable difference.

in another couple weeks you'll need to change the subject to "What's your GHash/s?" or people will start to get confused.

Its going to be a long long time. If you haven't already, you might want to get some legal advice.

I think success in the area of remittance will inform how to proceed with real time in-store purchases.

It made sense before BFL modified their shipping options. Its all in the OP if you want to click through.

This whole mess is not good for bitcoin's image. I'm glad they caught him. (I hope they have the right guy)
I'm surprised they let him keep posting on the internet.

I hope that curtain is fireproofed!

Impressive yes, but which is more appealing to a wider demographic? Which gives bitcoin greater mindshare?
I would argue that production quality should also be considered.
Who would you rather have shooting a follow-up unboxing video?
Ok, i'm out of arguments. I'm going to go reload.

I assumed that they just wanted something sticky for user generated advertising. I knew I was being cheesy with my video, "oh hey its lighting up a pumpkin" but I thought it might have some entertainment value that would help it win.
Its too early to tell, but it looks like the twinkler will win. *shakes fist

at least we'll still have the chance to win randomly.

My friend CrazyBlane accuses me of supporting trickle down pumpkinomics and that simply isn't true. You know, I was in Ohio the other day and I met a woman who came up to me and she was crying she said, "We need more pumpkins for my family, is it going to get better?" And I told her, "if you vote for me, yes... yes it will get better."
If you look at the statistics, you'll see that there are a number of indicators, the squash factor is one, that show how things are already getting better...
Ok that's exhausting. your turn.

lol, "think of all the jobs I created for the american shipping industry. Those pumpkins are heavy and they don't ship themselves. I am all about job creation so I will not rest until there are Gay Married Chinese Troll Pumpkins in every hard working American's home."

legitnick joked about charging 9000btc but then went over and voted for me! that type of selflessness deserves appreciation.

Thanks legitnick! I'll send a little processing power your way if I win.
