Hi
Does anyone know which is the correct chain?

Hi Guys,
This sucks! Why do these guys keep getting away with it!
OCUPY is all about the community. if there's anything we can do to help, we will. I'm going to have a glance over the source code and see if we can get the issues fixed. We are not interested in developing this coin further, but if we can get the network back up and transactions processing we will.
We will be hosting a giveaway for all those that got burnt by Nanite. I'm not sure how we will format the giveaway yet, but we will release more details soon.
We would like to welcome everyone to the OCUPY community. We are a serious Crypto Currency project that really is targeting real work adoption. We will still be around next year and the year after. We have internal roadmaps for the next 12 months.
We did not create OCUPY to fill our pockets, we created OCUPY to make a difference and to become the currency of the 99%
I would like to apologise for this scumbag, not all Devs are here to scam the community.

Where is everyone?
We are here and are getting a lot of views !!! Further interest will come in time, we are still very new. Any questions please join our irc #ocupy ^^ I agree. In these uncertain times Crypto Currency's do not pick up traction until after the 30 day period! As 90% of new coins die within the first 30 days either through P&D scams or the developer disappearing. We will continue to deliver the technical features and in time we will build the community's trust. Just implementing technical features no matter how innovative, is not enough. People want to see real world adoption. Well that's what OCUPY is about. We have big plans for OCUPY but it would not be wise to release all of the details at once. The next big thing coming from us will be ocupy.net. This is going to increase the adoption of OCUPY 10 fold. Imagen a hybrid forum that's also a social network. We will have the best platform for a community in Crypto.ocupy.net will also host the OCUPY University, which will be a learning platform for those new to digital currencys. This will be for the non technical users. There will be tutorials on how to purchase, send and receive OCUPY, how to backup your wallet, how to keep your coins safe, How to use our features and many more. We will also have many tutorials for bitcoin.

UPDATE - v1.2 Released
Im pleased to announce that the OCUPY wallet v1.2 is here.
We had to pull the IRC Based Live Chat feature as during our pre-release investigations we found that it leaked the user's IP. This is not acceptable, we are aiming deploy one of the most private networks in crypto. We have gone back to the drawing board, expect to see this feature return in the next update.
V1.2 Includes:
- TOR Network support
- Daemon TOR Network support
- Peer 2 Peer Encrypted Chat
- Improved styling to make the wallet more visually appealing
Windows: https://mega.co.nz/#!sBYjWJyK!D95KhLXwwjNuVqKn2ebp5_pdjakXj64_WAZCYvaNB4w
OSX: https://mega.co.nz/#!1JRyxLTa!2nCbW5njq16PL3U2606vB-q6bg09cwzO45Gd_qn7W94
Please note this release is part of our staged migration to an isolated TOR network. In the coming months the OCUPY network will only be available via TOR, exchanges, merchants etc will have to use the TOR based daemon.

UPDATE
I can confirm that OCUPY will be in attendance at the #OccupyDemocracy Re-Occupy London protest starting on the 21st of November.
We will be handing out paper wallets to those on the front line and also leaflets with more information on OCUPY.
I myself will be in attendance. If you would like to meet the founder of OCUPY and pose some questions, please come down.

Very nice. Looking forward to seeing it working, could you shed some light on the anonymous transactions you'll be implementing? Will it be a new method or building on current techniques
Sure, we will use coinjoin as the base but we are making extensive changes to the architecture and the transaction flow. We could promote it as a completely unique transaction mixer like some do, we rather be honest. It will still be on a par with Darksend and the latest XC mixer tech.

UPDATE
I can confirm that the OCUPY wallet version 1.2 will be released on Tuesday 18th of November.
This release will contain the below updates.
- TOR Network support
- Peer 2 Peer Encrypted Chat
- IRC Based Live Support System
- Improved styling to make the wallet more visually appealing
Most coins would release these features one by one for maximum exposure. Not OCUPY, we will push the features out as fast as possible.

Guys,
Please give your input on what should be done with the premine.
When we mined the premine it was only 4% but due to POS staking the total coin supply was less than we estimated.
Would you like it to be held by an Escrow? Would you like a percentage to be burned?
Please let me know
Maybe ask ocminer, he is very active here That is a great idea! I will contact him

Keep yourself 1% for promotion and bounties and burn the rest of the coins and start working on further development of coin than just hanging with premine issues everyday. Thats what i suggest, lets wait and see what other community memeber suggests and you can choose and decide the best option. Please see the below. Im getting a lot of messages from the community regarding the Premine that's why its a pressing issue. I have updated the ANN design so it fills the full width of the thread, Added sections for the exchanges and blockexplorers.
We are currently testing our TOR support internally. Migrating the existing network over to the TOR network is no small task. It requires extensive testing, planning and a major change to the OCUPY network. We are making great progress
OCUPY.net development is also moving forward at a very fast pace. We expect to have a public Beta up by the weekend. Eventually we hope to have OCUPY integration with Ocupy.net.

I have contacted two well known Escrows on the forum and they have both said they only deal with BTC Escrows. Does anyone know of a trusted escrow?
This is to hold a large part of the premine (75%). As I know the 230K Premine makes some nervous, which I totally understand.
I want to limit the risk to investors, this will help.

will be on bittrex!! dev,yes or no??
I'd imagine it will be soon, Heard the dev mention he's coding the features from scratch. Very nice to see as theres so many copy/paste clones of code. Indeed, All implementations will either be coded from scratch or heavily modified from their original implementations. Sometimes you are just reinventing the wheel by coding from scratch. Any seasoned developer will tell you to utilize existing code if its available and fit for purpose. A great example is Encrypted Messaging, most coins share the same Encrypted messaging code. It works and does what its supposed to but there are known flaws with this codebase. In this instance, we would look at the original implementation fix any bugs then improve and streamline the code. Adding additional features and building on the code base.
