161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt. Lifts ban on Cryptocurrency on: December 14, 2020, 08:30:32 AM
Waah! This is becoming very good and I'm sure India doesn't want to miss this great opportunity either. Despite some of their strict rules, I believe this is a big step for the Indian government as well as the crypto community, and will definitely give people's confidence in investing in crypto
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: December 14, 2020, 08:27:53 AM
The best portfolio consist of balanced instruments, so you should invest in both the bitcoin and gold. It can be act as hedging instruments for each other. In the crises like Covid19, the world's economy was on fire which makes gold strong in price. so both gold and bitcoin is important in the balanced portfolio for better returns and risk coverage.
balance is good, but not if you want maximum profit. bitcoin here has a high fluctuation, and it depends on the timing when you buy. if you managed to buy bitcoin when the price dips, I'm sure you are the winner at this time. and for gold, investments that have proven to be good and also profitable because of their stable value. gold is better if used as a deposit or long-term investment
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How do you distribute your portfolio? BTC vs Altcoins on: December 13, 2020, 10:26:42 AM
I dont have enough money to invest in BTC, my portfolio distribution is about 50% in ETH, 10% in XRP, the other 40 percent is dynamic, today it could be several kinds of coin, and over time it could be one or several others.
you can even use a few dollars to buy bitcoin. That doesn't mean that you must have spent a lot of money to buy bitcoin. When you can't afford to buy 1 bitcoin and you can buy that in satoshi.
It looks like you are putting the rest into the random coin and why don't you just try to put some from these percentages into the bitcoin?
it will be a good idea too and then you can put the rest into the another coin.
Okay,i admit i am greedy. I agree that buying BTC is less risky than buying other coins, but in the mean time it also means the profit may reduce, that is why i took this strategy.
It doesn't matter if you invest as long as it is on top coins, looking for something safe. at least because bitcoin price is not affordable and also XRP has a high percentage of profit, I think it's a pretty successful investment. and also, investing is not only bitcoin, there are many other options
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: December 13, 2020, 10:20:31 AM
Greed is one of the human nature,to be honest,it is very hard to overcome, buy we can set a target, when the price hit the target and sell it without hesitation. Besides ,If we get too emotional when we trade, this can greatly impair our judgment and lead to bad decisions.
It is true that it is natural to get more profit, but at least we are able to control our emotions. Emotional trading can make us have too high expectations and have unrealistic expectations, and that is very dangerous in crypto and when trading
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: December 13, 2020, 10:18:09 AM
Cmon, its a crypto, a lot of people heare are only for quick gains and they dont care about idea
haha sad but true. In fact, most people only want quick profits and have less interest in a project. crypto is a very volatile, high-fluctuating world and it's no wonder that many people come and go because of the high risk. but at least I'm sure there are still many people out there who really care about the project and its development
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DeFi Red Flags on: December 13, 2020, 10:15:20 AM
The team as well as the audit are the 2 factors that most determine whether a defi project is truly legit or not. Most defi projects are now smart enough to just create a github account, but only as a display. no repositories or projects are created on this github account, so be careful. and the team is the most decisive, lest a team whose origins are unknown promises strange or unrealistic technology
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 11, 2020, 11:26:59 PM
The bear market has come back and of course makes ethereum prices go down again had risen but fell again it is ethereum's current state Don't get your hopes up on ethereum until the end of the year breaking through $ 600 would be pretty good because reaching the end of the year would only take a few more weeks
No bear market came back. It is still the same. We are still in the bull run.
Because it became red, that doesn't mean that Ethereum has plunge a lot with this correction.
But if you see the price, not that much of a dump.
ethereum still has a big chance to be bullish this time, it is a bit unfortunate that with the emergence of eth 2.0 they still haven't been able to lift the market. but a few days earlier ethereum was still at the price level of $600, and i think it will rise again soon considering they are in a positive stage at the moment
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could There Be One World Digital Currency? on: December 11, 2020, 11:23:28 PM
There is no need to overestimate the potential of conspiracy theories, one world currency is only possible under the single government. Since gold agreements among G8 countries, the gold standard has been approved as the main reserve for Us currency. BTC has no such fundamental potential, unfortunately.
Agree, besides that bitcoin also does not have enough credibility to become a strong currency used by all people in the world, there is still a lack of knowledge and also a lack of regulation which means it can hinder bitcoin steps. on the other hand, gold has long been a measuring instrument of exchange around the world
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Issue on: December 11, 2020, 11:16:56 PM
The problem of Facebook/Instagram having a server problem cant be used to judge what the circumstance of Libra will be because the project will not be governed by the Facebook team only and the last time I checked Libra is a crypto which will have it own blockchain and for the team to have coinbase, novi etc but theres one i dont understand about the project. Mark was not listed among the team or board of directors. Whats happening?
Yep, I think they also have a team or division that is completely different from their 2 big products (Facebook and Instagram). Also, last time I checked their progress, didn't they change their name to dime crypto or something? not really sure. the important thing is I don't think it's because of Libra
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understand how cryptocurrency scams work? on: December 11, 2020, 11:13:26 PM
I see many people offering the same scheme mostly in province where Bitcoin is not so popular and not known they explain about Bitcoin and how the price increase that way . And then offering investment to earn bitcoin or other coins that they say that can be a Bitcoin someday in their explanations. The most victim they had is those people who doesn't even know what Bitcoin is and no knowledge how it's actually works.

This is a classic scheme. She worked 20 years ago. Each time, only the object changes, which is represented in the form of an economic miracle that will bring you mountains of gold.
In the past, these were stocks and various bonds, now it is a cryptocurrency. It is easy to explain to people what they can earn by the example of how bitcoin grew from 0.1 to 20,000.
is this some kind of mlm scheme? I can't believe people will still buy his brag. what I mean is we have internet access, at least do some research or learn a little about bitcoin. but if this happens, I hope that no one will be affected by this kind of scam anymore, most of them are old people and will probably use their money for old age
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: December 07, 2020, 08:55:06 PM
If they are well-established with a REAL huge community. social media numbers and market activity can be manipulated.
I don't trust them fully, as I see shitcoins projects pay their community by maximizing their social media presence.
Maybe you can consider reviews from well-trusted sites and people.
And how do you distinguish "real" communities from fake ones? I think the most effective way is to check the team background. If they have a team that is not related to project goals, for example they create a platform about climate and weather but they have a team that deals with livestock, I'm sure that would be the first alert to be aware of.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: December 07, 2020, 08:51:10 PM
It could happen, but for now, no one can replace Eth at Number 2. No one has matched Eth’s technology to this day.
This is wrong argument. There are coins such as Cardano (ADA) and NEO available in the market and they are much ahead of Ethereum, as far as technology is concerned. But they are unable to topple Ethereum from the no.2 position, as their acceptability is much lower than ETH. Ethereum was the first smart contract platform in the cryptocurrency market. And this gives an almost invincible advantage for that coin.
That's right, being the first smart contract platform on the market makes all smart contract familiarity go to ethereum and therefore ethereum's position is very difficult to replace. For almost the same technology, I think NEO is close to ethereum technology, but with the number of users, devlopers and also development is still far from being compared to ethereum, even so I'm sure NEO still has a chance.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 fastest crypto coins on: December 07, 2020, 08:47:19 PM
I think there are many fastest coins in the cryptocurrencies.
Here are some fastest coins:
1• Tron
2• litecoin
3• Ethereum
4• BNB
5• Bitcoin
Those are some of the fastest coins I really experienced since I join this platform which are unpredictable in the areas of transaction.
Tron and Litecoin are indeed fast, not sure about the other lists. actually what the OP wrote in my opinion is indeed a list of the fastest cryptos at the moment. Neo, and Monero are examples, both of which have very good speeds and also have the advantages of technology, while TRON has the advantage of being quite fast, the fees are also quite low.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 07, 2020, 12:43:50 PM
I sold it already btw, but I also lost some momentum in the middle of 2018 due to the bearish high. now I also still have some tokens from 2017, but almost all of them are worthless, and maybe I'll just leave them there, lol. What I learned is, if you are in crypto and the token has hit ath or at least the price is good, just sell it and don't wait, because you will lose the opportunity of a lifetime.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to DeFi? on: December 07, 2020, 12:35:51 PM
DeFi projects are trying to exist and get another popularity, but we know that this trend will not stay for longer, and it will replace by another new trend. It is what we see now in the crypto world. After ICO, IEO, and DeFi, maybe we will see something new, but DeFi is still popular and still trying to get more investors to invest in their project. While you can still make a profit from DeFi, you should use that before the trend is ending.
Maybe not all fundraising trends will be replaced by other trends, as long as the existing trends continue to develop and adjust to investing styles, I'm sure that won't be a problem. for Defi and also dex, I believe their problem is how they can identify projects that are really legit or not, because decentralization everything works automatically and sometimes we have to do extra research
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you trading on ?? on: December 07, 2020, 12:33:00 PM
How about kucoin?

I only use local exchange other than binance and kucoin kucoin is also easy to use , the last time I use that website they never ask any KYC. If ever you want to try other exchange I suggest only choose  the top crypto currency exchange that has high reputation from users.do not just trust  any exchange that other suggest  especially because  your money is at risk.
Kucoin is quite good, but some time ago there was a hack which caused hackers to steal several funds. maybe bitforex or hotbit are good alternatives, just give it a try. as long as it has a good reputation and high safety, I guess it doesn't matter
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: December 06, 2020, 10:57:54 PM
Earn money from investment very risky without knowledge, because how you sure identify best coin! If you have no enough knowledge about crypto market. Since the defi movement i have invest in oks project but still i have not sold because i can't recover loss yet.
There is no success without hard effort and also research is highly recommended. It's true that if you buy tokens, you only need to ensure the quality of a project, but it will be a different story if it's a newbie where they don't know the parameters of a legitimate project even though they have done a little research. So the point is always do a thorough research before you invest, check their social media, check their technology developments and check their smart contracts, and make sure you are actually investing in a legit project.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is uniswap a good place for the new tokens? on: December 06, 2020, 10:40:16 PM
I think Uniswap is a good platform, you just have to provide liquidity to add token on Uniswap. Due to this thing, many tokens have started to get listed on Uniswap and as per the time Uniswap has been building a great reputation in the market and that's why it becomes the vastest platform to buy tokens.
If only uniswap could keep their reputation from shitcoin or scamcoin I think they would be the best dex in the world. Their only drawback is that Uniswap can do any token listing which is quite dangerous for newbies who don't do thorough research
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: December 06, 2020, 10:37:36 PM
Actually, "Nothing last forever*. It very possible we see another crypto beating ETH in the future but I'm very sure it will not be an easy task because ETH controls all the entire eth supported token. To beat a crypto that is well grounded and that has been on the top list for the last 4years then the coin should be able to offer more to the investors, blockchain community than Ethereum.
It is true that nothing is impossible, besides that crypto is also very volatile. but we also have to be able to see the current situation where there is no project capable of delivering what ethereum provides. both in terms of technology and scaleability. maybe there are some that can compete with ethereum, but their technology is not really massively tested like ethereum now
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects the most in making timely decisions in the world of Crypto? on: December 06, 2020, 10:34:19 PM
People say "Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish". Even though it is true in our day to day life, in the crypto world. sometimes it can be problematic. Here, according to my view, what matters the most is your ability to forecast the future trends and how the market will behave in next few minutes, hours, days and months. Forecasting ability can be a function of multiple parameters such as your knowledge on market behavior, experience, analytic capabilities, access to information, etc.
Everyone can forecast the market but it's about the accuracy. Not all of the forecasts are good that you can do if the market is very volatile.
I would like to hear from you on what would you think the most critical factor which affects someone's ability to take timely and correct decisions in this arena?
It is the emotion, if that hits you. You can make very bad decisions.
Timing and precision is also very important in my opinion. Indeed, emotions are one of the factors that influence us in making decisions, but if it's already profitable, why don't we do it right away? and don't wait. our power in analyzing a situation and also the precision or timing is very useful here
