The diff is too big for this hashrate. This is a long time finding a block.

Well ok. I am miner myself, i know how it looks when big diff kicks in and make block solving slow and when something is not right. This deff looks like some lag is involved but ok, maybe it's just me. Coz it's nor normal if blocks are on avg 1 min to 3 minutes and difficulty goes up only slowly and gradualy, and hashrate increases even that there are no blocks found for like 10 minutes and more. Blocks were stucks few times on like 40 difficulty only. Ok ppl cancel their Nicehash when they see block isnt getting solved but still. When all is right blocks are solving normaly it's just as diff goes up after each block, slowly average time of each block increases and eventualy it stabilises at around 2 minutes.

But anyway it doesnt matter, all it matters all should work. For some reason my wallet doesnt want to sync. It's stuck. It shows from time to tome 1 - 5 max connections to the network but no help.

Wallets doesnt want to sync and block explorer is laging. Like blocks get solved normaly for 15-20 minutes, and then there is lag and delay, then same thing again. That is not DIFF issue as diff retarget is each block and big hashrate is still up, and then laging happens, no blocks solved for quite some time.

Well difficulty is not that much hifgher then last block one. And big hashrate went on some time after it was found also... doubt luck % was so big. Well maybe all is right. i hope it is. so Dev wont need to fix anything, but seems odd that at least 1 block isnt found yet. DIFF is only 133

P.S. How much is block confirmation? inside a wallet? I have 2 gray payments that happened before that new wallet update, they still havent turned white.

I see ur wallet is syncing on ur pool. Any news what is going on?

where is DEV?

Aleksiusha,
Understand he did it not specifically I think. He disabled the pool innova, and people continued to mine on the port of the algorithm.

I mined qute a bit on your pool. Better not scam.

Also, where is DEV? blocks are stuck again.

I think the complexity took off, the hash fell from behind it and a long block search.
On VIVO 35 min not found blocks  Wink

Dont think so. There was quite some hashrate after last block found, for 5 minutes or more. Now less hashrate up but time since last block is like 20 min or so.

And DEV - Diff retarget seems 30 blocks, and not every 1 block. ALso, same thing like VIVO had. And it was a problem. It was heavily abused.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]INNOVA - when security are the main focus. ASIC resistance. Neoscrypt coin. on: October 19, 2017, 11:51:36 PM
It's fucking nicehash

What makes this coin different then VIVO? It look like exactly same coin, just different block reward and supply.

Guys, better hop on this coin before it became popular or you will regret it Smiley

Try to stack as much you can while PoS is this high for extra profit. Coin wont be that long only 0.9 - 1.1$

Keep it up guys!

Amazing job done so far!
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: September 30, 2017, 09:29:54 PM
Brucelats,One more big issue with Zcoin is that more than 70% of hashrate is concentrated on MPH, highly centralized network

Yeah i noticed it. Although Zcoin will release their own pool soon, so that will be great. Their pool should work like a charm. But i am worried about botnets... I hope diff get resolved fast.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: September 30, 2017, 08:53:09 PM
Difficulty has jumped on ~35% just in one moment. WTF?

F**ng botnets?
30+Gh/40% of hashrate mining on private pool. seems to be botnet?

I am wondering the same... why diff jumped so high? Can we get official explanation? Why is this happening? I mean ok it happened but how can we predict such things and prepare and adapt... like how are we gonna mine some coin, invest our time in it and our funds and it's so RANDOM??? lol
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: September 30, 2017, 03:24:28 PM
Why difficulty jumped from 7200 to 9400 all of a sudden? 1 block was 7200 and next one 9400 Huh  Huh Huh Sad
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: September 29, 2017, 04:18:52 PM
There was an orphan block issue which can be resolved by going to Help > Debug Window > Console and typing in:

This should put you on the correct chain. The fix has already been pushed on Github but are testing binaries.

We're starting our own pool soon to reduce problems like this at least until more pools pop up.

As for MPH stealing hashrate, we investigated into this with MPH and don't think this is true but due to an issue with people using Tpruvot's ccminer which has some differences from djm34's version.
Djm34 will come up with an official version soon for this but there's a community modified miner for this by ckraziel

Use binaries at own risk but I tested the miner and it seems okay and he did a pull request with the requested modification.
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/pull/24

ccminer 2.2.1 x64 cuda 9: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz5n9rB3aWeYYlpSVklUTTVIWGc
ccminer 2.2.1 x86 cuda 9: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz5n9rB3aWeYaHZ1c0U1a3VGYkk

Is this the actual fix or just "visual fix"?

This comment got me confused:

Quote
There's no problem with tpruvot's miner at all, why would hashrate be displayed correctly on other pools but not on MPH? But it's always good to "fix" things by breaking them.

And did you even check what's in the commit of that pull request ? It's basically just commenting out submitting stale shares:
