161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: October 15, 2019, 08:28:58 AM
What is the most reason to buy new token or new coin, to trade it in the market or to spend it if there something to spend it?
I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.
And not tokens exchanges such as BNB.
What you think?

People buy new coins because they tend to speculate. Every investment we make in altcoin is speculation except for altcoin which is in the top 10 coinmarketcap because it already has a large transaction volume. By speculating on new coins, investors sometimes expect large profits
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most stable asset or currency? on: October 15, 2019, 08:25:39 AM
USDT is just one of the stable coins in the crypto space, which might be used to fix the value of one's asset, but talking about fixing just $50 for a long time, is like being lazy with one's asset, which should be used as means of increase. It is better to risk, by investing in a promising coin, such as BTC. BT for now still has a low value with the tendency of increasing in future. You might go for that option, if you are not able to identify a good altcoin.

Agree, if you only have $ 50, it's better to invest in coins that have high fluctuations and trade to double the value of your investment. To trade on coins that have high fluctuations, we must understand and be able to read market movements so that we do not lose
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does scalping is the best way to earn when trading on a bearish market? on: October 15, 2019, 08:22:33 AM
I just want to ask you guys if Scalping is a good move when trading on a bearish market. Because for me this is the best way to earn a profit when the market is bearish.  But still, I choose the right coin and the perfect exchanger for scalping.

Scalping can make profits quickly but it requires time and focus and good technical analysis. Not everyone has good technical analysis and I think scalping is quite risky even though it can provide a large profit
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: October 14, 2019, 05:30:51 AM
I have come to realize that its not about whether you are investing for a short term or long term but about what you know and understand about what you plan to invest in.  With this knowledge and understanding, you can develop strategic plans to help you decide whether to invest long term or short term to maximize your investment profits.

Agree, we cannot say that all coins or tokens are worthy of being used as a long-term investment tool. All depends on the project or product produced. Many tokens are just like pump and dump projects and I think this type of tokens is only good for the short term
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: telegram is coming to blockchain too on: October 14, 2019, 05:27:35 AM
indeed telegram started using blockchain technology but i think telegram is still not suitable if using this technology because there are not too many transactions in telegram, telegram should have a paid platform so that it has transactions and can use teknolgo blockchain and can have requests that can make coin telegram has a sale value at the exchange place.

Many people have used the telegram application and if the telegram has issued tokens for transactions between members, I think it will provide an attraction for new users. Chat applications like Wechat already have their own transaction tools and if the telegram has tokens for transaction tools, many people will be involved in the cryptocurrency market.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 14, 2019, 05:24:20 AM
Just like i used to include in my points that scammers is the main problem crypto is facing presently i come across this news on the internet today about how scammers keep on contrarily influence the digital currencies. As indicated by Changpeng Zhao, the CEO and originator of Binance, there are in excess of 1,500 Binance con artists on the expert informal community LinkedIn. The quantity of Binance scammers on LinkedIn can in the end arrive at 1,605. Now imagine how big scammers are damaging crypto

Full news here

Scammers are always a problem everywhere in the investment market or in the community. Therefore, we must understand how a scammer works because by being aware of the mode used, we will avoid the scammer and be more careful in investing
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Concentrate more on the technology and give less attention to price value. on: October 14, 2019, 05:20:21 AM
Sounds good on paper but honestly, technology is not what speculators look for.

Speculators look for potential value, which doesn't necessarily mean that something has the best technology. Rather, it means that they are looking for hype, looking for reasons that a project should be hyped - which can be contributed to via the underlying technology, but isn't always.

That's just a pragmatic way of thinking about altcoin markets, or even equity markets in general. Your way is purely ideological, unfortunately.

The OP is thinking of the ideal way of doing things. That would be the perfect way. It is however unfortunate that in the real world, there is practicality instead of ideal and perfect. The ideal and perfect are both concepts at best that are not really existing in the real world. If an altcoin is gaining strong momentum out of a very aggressive hype, that is enough for investors to get into it. There is a potential profit out of it because the rest of the crypto community are only exposed to hype instead of fundamentals.

Agree, there is a difference between the ideal and the thing that happens in the cryptocurrency market. Investors sometimes do not see technology as a major factor in investing in the cryptocurrency market because technology continues to grow. Many investors are more practical in deciding investments because in the end, every investment must be profitable
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: October 09, 2019, 08:39:20 AM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.

The current dominance of bitcoin has begun to decline from 70% to around 65% and I think this is an indication of the coming altseason. But seeing the value of the market cap which goes down along with the decline in the dominance of bitcoin, I think we need to wait for the right time to buy a good altcoin
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 09, 2019, 08:36:10 AM
From the outset, I was thinking like you. Have confidence in the project due to its movement, progress, and frame of mind from the team. Furthermore, trusting the price will recoup after the trend changes,
Be that as it may, the truth constrained me to quit having confidence in them, in this year in the event that you are holding or taking part in IEOs and the project isn't listed on any or new exchange following a month of time.
I can promise you that the price will be a lot of lower from your buy request and in a couple of long stretches of time the project will report their takeoff.
basically, holding altcoin other than ETH, LTC is just suicide at the present time. You are probably going to lose your cash as opposed to getting something

In my opinion there are many alternatives besides ethereum or Litecoin, the top 10 in coin marketcap can be a good choice. I agree that altcoin is a risky investment but I think some altcoins also have good prospects for the long term
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: October 09, 2019, 08:32:52 AM
It is almost impossible to believe that after developing a good project which might likely succeed because of the product, some so-called developers and teams will still go ahead and list in a shit exchange all in the name of reducing the listing fund or all in the name of no fund to list in the big exchange, if you cannot afford good exchange, why not continue with the development of the project to be able to attract the right investors, why rush to a shit exchange. So many projects that could have succeeded have been buried by shit exchange, and if you care to know, you are the reason why we still have shit exchange because the owners of shit exchange knew that some daft developers and team will surely come and list their projects. Why will someone prepare a good meal and then decide to keep it in a cabinet full of cockroaches? Wake up.
Do not use exchange if you feel something is fishy, you should always be careful on what exchanges that you use. There are a lot of shit exchange that have high fees and low security.

Agree, rather than hesitate to use exchangers that look suspicious, it's better to use exchangers that are already known to have a good reputation. In addition, it is better not to keep the coins we have in the wallet exchanger because it is very vulnerable and it is better to keep it in the wallet that we control the private key
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: October 09, 2019, 08:29:37 AM
Friends, personally am done with submitting my personal information for KYC to any bounty, project or even airdrops. I made this decision after 90% of project that requested for KYC won't make it to exchange. It's so frustrating and disappointing.

KYC is not a good idea for everyone. Not all people from the crypto market participate in bounty campaigns, but everyone trades on crypto exchanges. And I don’t really want to go through the KYC on exchanges, because I don’t know which regulator the exchange will transfer my data to. And why did the exchanges located in offshore need my KYC data?
Very simple. They need KYC of everyone to use their exchange because of the laws in the country of exchange. And if you're in a banned country, you can't use their exchange

Exchangers certainly do not want to take risks by violating regulations that have been set by the government. KYC is needed by exchangers because to avoid suspicious activities and I think this should be supported because for many people who don't understand, the cryptocurrency market is a place to launder money
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: October 08, 2019, 10:49:34 AM
I don't know why people are saying that Libra is the new crypto king. I know Libra is a big project and it will connect to many people . but still it is nothing but a centralized coin.

Maybe because many people consider Libra coin to be in demand by investors. Libra Coin in my opinion has the potential to become large because with the number of Facebook members who reach billions, there is an opportunity to become the largest in terms of market cap value
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: October 08, 2019, 10:44:29 AM
Today in crypto, Tokens, wallets, exchanges, and even DEX is easily done.  What would it take impress you nowadays?

Advertisements of new projects can caught my attention but what can impress me is that if that new projects made it survive through the next months after its released. Here in this industry, the competition is too chaotic so I will be glad to see a project that can make on its own. Other things that can impress me in this industry is when the prices went again.

Competition in the cryptocurrency market will continue to be tighter after the market has declined. Only projects that can produce products that can survive and only projects with an informative developer team will continue to be in demand by investors
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: October 08, 2019, 10:40:06 AM
that in the past ICO projects performed very well if they used ERC20 tokens or projects built on established platforms. because it has the potential to grow well and reduce risk when compared to creating new technology. but now on the contrary I don't see ICO functioning properly even though it's built on an existing platform like ERC20.
I will not blame the platform because the platform has been built in such a way, but I will blame the developer, Why? because most developers have misused this for crypto schemes to get rich and most project failures are based on the background of developers who do not have extensive knowledge and deliberately tarnish the ICO project's bad image.

Bad developers whose purpose is only to deceive has hurt the cryptocurrency market by undermining the confidence of its investors. If this continues, investors will think that the cryptocurrency market is a place of fraud and without any action. Hopefully the regulations can be issued soon so that developers who have short-term goals can be punished
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful of bounty campaigns with "download app" requirement on: October 08, 2019, 10:36:30 AM
I am not discouraging hunters to join bounty campaigns that requires you to download their app or wallet. This is just a friendly reminder to everyone that we should be careful since there have been some malicious apps used to collect personal information and steal funds from mobile/pc. There were also instances where hackers were able to exploit the vulnerabilities of some apps.

If you still wish to continue and download their app, at least take some measures like not storing your private keys/seed phrase in your phone/pc to protect your funds.

You can also read guides posted by some of the forum members here.

Have a safe bounty hunting!

Agree, it is true that not all applications that we download are safe because many applications steal our personal data and even the files on our phone. We must always make sure what data can be shared through permissions in our phone settings
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 07, 2019, 05:52:32 AM
The issue that cryptocurrency is used for terrorism or money laundering is an issue that is always used by people who hate cryptocurrency. I myself do not understand why people or media hate cryptocurrency even though they themselves do not understand what they write or say. It's better to ignore the negative news about the cryptocurrency market
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another PONZI scheme money frozen in bank account revealed on: October 07, 2019, 05:49:25 AM
The article is a bit confusing. Is the government calling cryptocurrency ponzi scheme hence the seizure or is the government talking about an actual ponzi scheme? The government even banned bank from dealing with Virtual currency. I wonder what virtual currency they are talking of.

According to the news I read, the police busted the operator of the ponzi and confiscated the crypto probably bitcoin. As the trade of bitcoin is not legal they are not sure what to do with it and how to find the claims of investor to be legit and on what form to compensate them. They are trying to compensate the investors for the loss and they have taken help from the team of now non-existent crypto exchange called Koinex.

It is possible that what is being sold is not bitcoin on the cryptocurrency market. Some ponzi schemes use the name bitcoin as a mask even though the purpose is only to cheat and maybe like a money game
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto at Risk Due to Malware on: October 07, 2019, 05:46:06 AM

The Juniper Threat Labs group says “Masad Stealer sends the majority of the data it gathers [through] a Telegram bot constrained by the risk on-screen character.” This new malware targets Bitcoin, Monero (XMR), Cardano (ADA), Ether (ETH), (DASH), XRP, Litecoin (LTC) and such different cryptographic forms of cryptocurrencies.

So as to comprehend the gravity of the risk, process this reality: A location associated with ‘Masad Clipper and Stealer’ has gathered Bitcoin worth more than $9000 till date. The malware is being promoted on hacking discussions. It is really being sold through a layered methodology. It begins with a free form and it tends to be moved up to one with all highlights for $85.

News Source: TheCoinRepublic

To avoid malware that will steal our coins, we better not click on suspicious links and always check the security website. Suspicious links are always sent via email and we must be vigilant when receiving emails that contain suspicious links and it is better if the sender is unknown to us, we just delete the email
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: October 02, 2019, 05:00:50 AM
Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??

Even though bitcoin prices are down, investors will definitely prefer bitcoin over altcoin. When the price of bitcoin is lower, the price of altcoin is sharper and I think it's risky. If we hesitate to invest when market conditions are not good, we better just wait and see waiting for the market to show signs of recovery
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra in Facebook on: October 02, 2019, 04:57:43 AM
I urge caution for anyone trying to buy Libra.  I have s near escape. I saw an advert on Facebook and was thinking of getting some. But I remember reading that Libra is not launch.  It seems that Facebook dun really check on the authencity of the adverts. After this incident I saw 2 more different adverts from Facebook selling Libra!

Maybe it's an advertisement to deceive people. Facebook has officially made a statement about making Libra but has not yet released its purchasing mechanism. I think we have to be vigilant because of the many deceptive practices nowadays.
