I'm on a floating rate that has ranged from 3 to 7 cents. It is profitable still, but not very much.

You are still doing an easy $1+/day/gpu. Not a goldmine but still worth the effort.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First time rig, which is better value? on: October 31, 2017, 11:32:30 PM

$1600 rig with 6x Zotac GTX 1060 3GB Mini (claims ~140 Mh/s)

$2000 rig with 7x XFX RX 570 4GB (claims ~186 Mh/s)

Build your own rig with 4xvega on it.

they're just barely profitable these days.

How much are you paying for kWh? Mining is still profitable, actually I'm really surprised it hasn't tanked more.

970 does 330 sol/s using what 150 watts? Cost $150.

1080ti does 800 sol/s using what 150 watts? Cost $700.

Q: How cheap power you must have to 1080ti roi faster?

OP's PC isn't profitable but as a learning experience it does pretty well.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question rig on: October 31, 2017, 10:30:38 PM
Everybody bump an old thread together!

Just like OP, Corsair 1000RMx. 4x290x+i5 mining xmr, ~3.6kH/s, 830w at the wall. Vega guys do closer to 10k with the same amount of power used  Cry .

I tried Dwarfpool but found a pool that lets you withdraw coin at, virtually, any limit unlike Dwarfpool which has quite a high limit for a small miner.
The pool I use is Mining Pool Hub, http://miningpoolhub.com/
"0.05-5000000 XMR. Set to '0' for no auto payout. A 0.015 XMR TX fee will apply"

so if the scammers release another coin, I think I will pass...

With nvidia it's either zec or get your hands dirty with shitcoins...

Why do you want skunkhash mod?

Check skunkhash @whattomine...
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire R9 390 NITRO - Undervoltage problems on: October 31, 2017, 07:14:55 PM
Have you checked in AB properties - general:

-unlock voltage control&monitoring
-extend official overclocking limits
-disable ULPS
-unofficial overclocking mode - without powerplay support

Is your card under warranty? If not then remove cooler and check that vrm, mem, core are properly cooled.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 30, 2017, 10:38:10 PM
Feel free to remove MyrGroestl and Skein from list of selling mods. Baikal included them in X10 miner. Probably 2 more should be removed with first X10 firmware upgrade.  Cool

Whoa there it comes. I'll bend numbers later.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does Anybody Want a Minig Wallet with .003 XMR? on: October 30, 2017, 08:39:12 PM
If you ask nicely they might transfer it to another account on their pool, needs to be active currently.

edit: 0.003 is the lowest you can do with gui wallet

I've never used something like that and i'm afraid i'd Mess up my card or use wrong setting. Ill try the underclock first. U said 0,85 - 1 ?
Does that Mean -85 to -100? In TRIXX

Trixx - hardware monitor - vddc. You need to find a way to get that below 1.0V to be efficient.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 390 Nitro TRI-X 8GB - Anybody has a modded BIOS for this card - zcash mining on: October 28, 2017, 08:03:55 PM
I would be very surprised if there is an easy tool for hawaii, could be wrong though.

Start with hex editor and just do an easy strap copy and see where that goes.

Yeah, let the beer flow! What about a good old Guinness?

1100/1500 is a good basic performance setting for every algo, 30+ dagger, 900+ cryptonight, 400+ equihash. Cryptonight and equihash get some boost if you play with straps and memory clocks.

For optimal hash/ watt with 390 you need to underclock. With your card, set your mem to 1250 and try gpu clocks 698, 858, 899, 935 and 969. When you find a combination you can live with try to undervolt, trixx does -200mV. Gpu volts in 0.85-1.00 area normally give you the best efficiency.

You need to try it yourself, there is no easy answer to your question.

Default clocks, -100mV and black screen? If DDU and latest drivers doesn't help then you have lost in silicon lottery, basic bios modding doesn't help. Every 300 series hawaii I have seen should have been -100mV from factory IMO.

Is it voltage locked? Windows? AB (-100mV) or Trixx (-200mV) doesn't work?

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 28, 2017, 04:30:50 PM
Speaking of good coins that don't do well...

True, SJCX has been relatively bad this year, 15x peaks against usd is nothing compared to other alts, only BTC is worse. Medium term, my average buy is 4319 sat so I'm not worried.

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but Storj is not minable via graphic cards.
You rent your free space from your HDD and this is how you get Storj tokens.

You are right, it's just funny to see how people react. Sp_ could post that coffee beans are up 18% today and I'm 100% sure there would be someone asking how much 1080ti earns per day mining coffee beans. And what algo, pool and bat.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 27, 2017, 10:22:19 PM
Storj looking good for a +100% profit Smiley
Give us hint - what is profit for gtx 1070 or 1080 (ti)?

MY GUESS IS THAT HE IS SUGGESTING A BUY--

Really, if STORJ recovers, you may easily double or triple (or more) your investment.  It may be a good idea to research the coin first.       --scryptr

SJCX=STORJ--  Smiley

That was just a poloniex listing pump, nothing to see here. Every miner should storjshare.

I heard sp_ is currently working on a dirty profitable ERC20 miner, no details yet.

I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?

This is not an "ico". This is an innovative Altcoin from 2014.

You maybe need to edit the header, add No-ICO and since 2014.

About the price, it's still 10x against usd this year. Give that wall owner an easy exit chance and make an offer, 0.05 btc for 1,000,000 xcn.
