Buy a cheap VPS and host a Tor hidden service on it.

Can somebody please summarize the main difference between Monero and Dash? These are pretty much 2 main stealth competitors, right? And why should Monero be so much superior? I see people mentioning Monero a lot.

This post explains it well.

Hey has anyone here mentioned that most cloud mining operations are scams?  Just checking.

Check almost every post in this thread.

My posts have been counted but I'm still unable to send it to my balance.

Sometimes the button breaks.
It usually gets fixed in a few hours.

I feel like I've caught a terrible disease after reading through some of this argument.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Atlanta based Bitcoin giant BitPay hacked for nearly $2,000,000! on: September 19, 2015, 02:24:02 PM
Something smells fishy... I know some people are saying the CEO and founder of this company will never do this to his own company, but I have to disagree.

It was just too easy for these guys to "hack" $ 2 000 000  Roll Eyes .... I cannot imagine that there are no checks and balances in place to confirm/verify transfers like this.

I will not trust BitPay if this is the way they handle money transfers. The first email should already have raised some red flags.   Shocked

I might have missed something but it does seems that if Bitpay was sending millions in BTC, they would have only done so to a "known bitcoin address" already existing on file for customer transfers. It's hard to imagine any competent/sane individual sending that volume to a fresh unknown address(es) based on an email request alone.

I thought that you were supposed to make a new address for each transaction

Everyone is recommending Monero and Ethereum, Monero being ~0.50 US cents while Ethereum being ~0.80 US cents.
I think everyone is forgetting Litecoin. 2 USD per coin. Monero and Ethereum both have potential, but litecoin is much more per coin than both Eth and Monero.

I think the price per coin is irrelevant.
What if I made a Bitcoin fork that had a limit of only 10 coins? One coin would probably be worth a lot, but the overall market cap low.

However, for AMD users Mantle should be sufficient if it gets popular

As far as I know, AMD are trying to discontinue Mantle.

A lot of people here like Monero.
Ethereum is quite nice too.

- snip -

You're not censored, you can still post whatever you want.
You are just banned from the YoBit signature campaign for making shitposts to get some quick money.

Yes scam people on the forum by offering a Bitcoin too money transfer service or learn to crack private keys  Cheesy

Is it possible to crack private keys ??
I think it is impossible or it might take ages to  be cracked
I saw a video on youtube that said it takes millions of year with the highest available computer now to do this

You can not hack private keys. Period.

The person you replied to was likely trolling.

It's not impossible. It's just very unlikely.

Sell high buy low, it will be fast dont worry about the profit Wink

waiting for the market movement takes time, it will not be fast profit when you are trading Tongue

this is why there is leverage, so you can take profit even when the market move of $1

Yes, and if the market moves the other way you make even more loss  Roll Eyes

Personal preference for me would be Arch x64

Arch as a server? Well, to each his own.
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn bitcoins quickly on: September 18, 2015, 06:10:37 PM
Yeah, one that pays you 227 Dollars, 200 Euros, 145 Pounds, or 1,456 Yen per day (after taxes of course).

That's just under £100,000 a year.
Not that impossible if you have the right qualifications.
175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you leave earth behind? on: September 18, 2015, 06:09:02 PM
Hell yer imagine the different types of alien poontang out there.

That's an interesting point  Roll Eyes

Shame there won't be a Bitcointalk forum though.

Why wouldn't you be able to connect to Earth internet? I'd imagine that it would be slow, but still usable.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Atlanta based Bitcoin giant BitPay hacked for nearly $2,000,000! on: September 18, 2015, 06:06:48 PM
there is no way of knowing that they are robbing the customers

This was their money, not the money of their clients.
177  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: September 17, 2015, 09:36:46 PM
where on yobit can I check my earnings from signature campaign? As per my understanding we are supposed to get btc in our yobit wallet every 24 hours. If I am right, please tell me where can I check my earnings

http://yobit.net/en/signature

Every so often you need to click Send to Balance, which puts it into your YoBit wallet.
After this, you should be able to withdraw this to your own Bitcoin address.

Its pretty obvious that the forum has asked Yobit to clamp down and pretty much confirmed by having a Mod post in this thread.
Since I was critical of Yobit it was no shocker that I got added to the list, add on at the bottom. Cool
Also was posting more than 20 posts a day to make up for my short posts, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Its funny I sent a post to some one active in this thread that I was leaving Yobit and the next day get booted as well. Interesting connections. Wink

Yobit pays a small rate for Full Member rank. Even you banned here it's not a big deal. There are many campaign here that pays FM rank much better than Yobit. If only I am a Full Member, I will leave Yobit. Yobit is a good stepping stone for low ranks but for an average rank it is not worth it.

No signature campaign is "worth it".
If you want money, it's better to get a job.
