161  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-18]Will we Observe Bitcoin Sign on the Spire of Notre Dame? on: April 20, 2019, 12:12:21 AM
Seems like Changpeng Zhao didn't give much in spite of his billionaire status and all the publicity he generated around his charity.

Wouldn't call at all donations for restoring any church (or similar building) as a charity.
The title chosen here is so random...even if the bitcoin donations will represent more than 90%, it won't happen!

163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 19-Mar-2019] on: March 25, 2019, 09:08:50 PM
Africa bitcointalk is paused, as expected from its initial budget tho.
Merit has been awarded to all volunteers that contributed positively through quality or decent post to the forum in the pass one week, for now the campaign is pause although volunteers are welcome to help in creating awareness for this project. Payment for participants will be sent v.soon although after reviewing the only participants post he hasn't met the required criteria to receive payment but still will be paid for his efforts.

Thank you all.

Ricket.run paid its participants and is CFNP for now.

Sigma pool is CFNP too. For this campaign, I think it would be better if an asterisk will be add for the amount to be paid since it isn't fixed from what I understood from Og post.
164  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-17] Crypto Miner: The Next Bull Run Could Take Bitcoin Up To $700k on: February 17, 2019, 03:16:35 PM
Random and overestimated prediction for the near future... The only thing I could think about is this guy trying to make the buzz to attract customers to his service and cryptocurrencies in general.
165  Other / Meta / Re: grin is now accepted for forum payments on: January 18, 2019, 02:50:44 PM
Will review it and i may give it a shot (mining tho).
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Handball 2019 World Championship on: January 18, 2019, 02:35:26 PM
indeed
the G2 is easier than G1

My prediction for the semi-finals at this point:

Croatia - France - Denmark - Norway

Good luck to all teams, can't wait Saturday  Cool

Oh yeah look to the G1! Hard games incoming  Wink
Your prediction seems to be very logic however we may expect a surprise in the G1 from Germany or Spain maybe?
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 13, 2019, 07:43:53 PM
Barely qualification ended in all groups except A and B where the next game will show who will succeed.

I was expecting Qatar to win but yeah the score is really big , NK played really bad
I hope king Kim isn't watching the game or else the whole team will be nuked.
168  Economy / Services / Re: ♦️ [New] ♦️ EveryBet.io ♦️ Signature Campaign ♦️ on: January 13, 2019, 07:32:52 PM
I confirm receiving the payment too (+ a little bit more in fact). Thanks for your honesty everybet. I will keep the signature for a while until we have further information.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Handball 2019 World Championship on: January 13, 2019, 07:23:10 PM
Spain still leading vs Iceland with +6 points.
And I think Sweden will beat easily Argentina with +5 goals
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 11, 2019, 08:36:29 PM
What? Are they really a part of the Asian Cup lol? They are technically so not a part of Asia lol
Yeah a "continent" playing in another one Cup. In fact, this thing satisfied the oceanians boys since +2006 Wink

I think UAE is going to win the Cup. Their corrupt governments are going to pay huge money to make sure their team wins. #Not My WorldCup
If they lack some moneh then MBS gonna buy it for them and put the cup inside the UAE's Louvre  Cheesy
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Handball 2019 World Championship on: January 11, 2019, 08:28:40 PM
Not many bitcointalkers in this topic yet  Tongue
Anyway, Croatia and Macedonia are both good teams but we can see surprises from other teams like France too...
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 11, 2019, 08:15:17 PM
It's also a blessing for Australia as now they won't have to face Japan in round of 16.
Better for them to play well or else they will get airplane tickets to KangarooLand  Tongue

As expected too, South Korea won the game vs Kirghizistan. Today wasn't hard to know who had best odds after all.
For tomorrow, I think Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia could win easily.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 11, 2019, 03:04:59 PM
since they are facing pressure of elimination from this tournament, I believe they will surely be playing more aggressively against Palestine today, I guess I would place a small bet on Australia to win the match in full time today.
I also think their match against Palestine is an easy to predict win game
Yeah as expected by many, Australia won 3-0 against Palestine. Australia needs at least a draw against Syria to qualify.

Friday games seems a little bit predictable : China and South Korea gonna win in my opinion easily
China is still leading 2-0, less than half an hour to pass Smiley
174  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-09] Bitcoin Price Analysis: Why the Defense at $4,000 Will Not Hold on: January 10, 2019, 10:50:58 PM
Remember, you never lose unless you sell below of what you bought. Are you willing to wait? Most won't, and lose. But those few who do, will later win.

Best sentences to hear read  Smiley
In fact, people tends to feel that they owned once nBTC x $19k then after the free fall, they lost so much from what once theoretically owned. While, in reality, many people are still making more than 100%-1000% profit  Wink

Friday games seems a little bit predictable : China and South Korea gonna win in my opinion easily however Palestine vs Australia is tricky one. I think Australia has a chance to get out of the last rank, we will see.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Search for "Bitcoin Core developers" on Google, the results are funny on: January 06, 2019, 03:14:22 PM
google is not broke.
YOUR. yes YOUR search preferences is the thing that is broke

In fact Google just cited the names (+photos) according to Wikipedia...it took too much effort hehe Wink
Don't want to mix this topic with politics but Trump once accused Google for showing bad articles on top, well, it appears that the white house search preferences are broke  Tongue
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible sending BTC without a transaction fee? on: January 06, 2019, 03:03:02 PM
This, really, will be an interesting thing to do. But how does one get a transaction done off chain. Do you mind sharing this perspective?

On a company like Coinbase's own internal ledger between their customers. Someone here suggested sending someone else a private key to restore in their own wallet so ownership changes without moving the coin. That is of course possible but not advisable.
Till there is another party sharing the private key then it is risky and as you said not advisable...

It used to be possible to send btc with 0 fees. (2012 2015 and before)
I can confirm that. I remember i tested it twice and it went successful, in 2015 +/- 2016. The first time the delay wasn't that much. The second time I had to wait 24 hours tho. After 2016, I remember i tested it without success. The miners tend to neglect those transactions with 0 profit for them.
Imagine everyone sending bitcoin without fees, this will kill POW concept especially when BTC number per block and price drop.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 06, 2019, 02:34:30 PM
Australia was beaten by Jordan, well a little bit unexpected for me...
Thailand vs India, frankly I have no clue, however, I think Thailand has more chances than India.
The next game I expect Syria would win vs Palestine but as said before, in AFC, it is very hard to expect who could win!
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: January 05, 2019, 03:52:10 PM
I will start with one to begin the discussion. If you are putting huge amounts at stake and want to keep identity private, online gamblign comes as a boon.
In addition to not being robbed midway to the bank or the house Tongue

For me literally the advantage of having in an online casiro or gambling is the ability to play even when you are sitting ina toilet
This example made my day. Why should we lose precious minutes in the WC while we can make moneh Grin
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: January 05, 2019, 03:45:42 PM
What do you guys think of Man United vs PSG at the KO stages?  Man United's odds of getting thru has prolly gone up with Mou gone (but then again, I like Mou's pragmatic approach in tourneys).

Taking a look on some betting sites, Manchester United odds are quite good vs PSG which won previously in 2015. Hard match with high risk of loss  Wink
