Stratis and NEO are two blockchains with C# as their coding language. I took the time to compare them both. What do you think?

The funds raised for NEO is incorrect.

They had 2 ICO rounds between the 8th of August 2016 and the 7th of September 2016 and raised 6119 BTC. The average BTC price in that period was around $575 so 6119*575 = $3,518,425

Is this a btc address?
I think you are somehow mistaken about it.

This looks more like a hash, but not one from a Bitcoin transaction.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: January 14, 2019, 11:33:20 AM
"Next week in Waves world:
- Another big partnership announced (with a real behemoth:) can be moved to the week after next, but will happen definitely)
- Announcement of the Bounty program for developers
- Announcement of vst airdrop details to waves holders
Stay tuned Smiley"

January 12th, from: https://twitter.com/sasha35625/status/1084067379125080065

Interesting to see what this partnership will bring. The announcements seem to be made at tactical price points. Hopefully it will be worthwhile.

167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: January 13, 2019, 06:23:40 PM
Why is Nexus is charging for a next run within 24 hours?

1. Nexus will release Tritium on the 31th of January!
2. 4300% until ATH!!
3. Nexus has a solid bottom, can only go up from here!
4. 1W, 12h, 6h and 4H chart diverging bullish, and more buying than selling.
5. 20.8k twitter followers
6. Low volume, and increasing volume.
7. 6 huge partners! One of them Singularitynet!
8. Severely Undervalued. Bulls are coming soon.
9. Amazing website, white paper and fundamentals.
10. More Bullish news to follow this week.

Wow, within the next 24 hours? And what are the winning powerball numbers for the next lottery going to be?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ Core v6.16.5.1 - DigiShield, DigiSpeed, Segwit on: January 12, 2019, 03:52:47 PM
All 5 algorithms are controlled by ASICs since the middle of 2017
So, any plan from Digibyte team to build up new algorithm to fight against domination of ASICs?

The Odocrypt algo is currently being tested.

This algo will automatically alter itself every 10 days, so you will have to update your miner every 10 days as well.

This should make it very asic resistant.

This one will be for gpu and fpga's.

They are still trying to come up with a gpu only algo, but that is a hell of a lot harder.

This sounds like a good solution, as I would assume the ASIC manufacturers could never keep up with this.

Not too bad statistics for the first 2 weeks after the launch, hopefully these numbers will get a good boost when the marketing starts.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: January 12, 2019, 03:28:06 PM
Dear Golem community. We are pleased to inform you about our project https://golemchats.club/ which logs all important telegram chats related to Golem . We believe that Golem Chats will be a valuable addition to the Golem ecosystem. During the work of the site, we have already received a large number of positive feedback from community members. The project is under active development. The project has its own team of programmers, ready at any time to solve new technical problems and make new improvements.

What is implemented at the moment:
You can read your favorite sites in a convenient form for you through https://golemchats.club/
The site is optimized for work and on mobile devices. There is a search by keyword and date. It is possible to read the chat you want in your native language using Google Translate. The translation is not perfect, but it will allow you to receive the latest news as quickly as possible from the first sources.

In the near future, we plan to add the ability to share a specific telegram post in social networks. On the one hand, this will allow you to share interesting content with your friends and subscribers, and on the other hand, it will positively influence the development of Golem ’s popularity in general.

There is a lot of work ahead, we have planned a huge number of interesting and useful improvements. If you have any suggestions for improving our site, please write - we will try to take everything into account and use it in the further development of the site.

If you think that some important chat related to Golem is missing on our website, please write and we will add it.

Nice, this seems like a good development. Something that more projects could use, so much information gets lost in the endless chats in Telegram groups.

Go Edg! The team must be very happy as investors and supporters with that nice increase, solid work, fine art!

Great to see such a clear plan for 2019 and a good reflection on past achievements. Nice to see the addition of slots and a more community centric approach. Edgeless seems to be doing all the right things, 2019 is looking to be a great year!
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | NEO Smart Economy⚡Now a Top 10 Cryptocurrency⚡| Official Thread |Updated Aug10 on: January 10, 2019, 10:39:26 PM
Malcolm Lerider is leaving NEO.

https://twitter.com/MalcolmLerider/status/1082780822078455808

Not sure how much he actually contributed in the end, he never really seemed to be quite up to speed on what really was going in the NEO ecosystem and in the development etc in the interviews and communications that I've seen of him.

He said:

Quote
People have different opinions and this was my only choice in the end. I will build #SmartEconomy through a business centric approach instead, #TechAgnostic.

I do find his reason a bit contradictory to what Erik Zhang just tweeted:

https://twitter.com/neoerikzhang/status/1083276335697416193

Quote
NEO's goal is to have the ability to run large-scale commercial applications. To achieve this goal, we are doing two things. The first is to improve NEO's infrastructure so that it has higher tps and a more reliable dBFT consensus algorithm. The second is to develop a distributed storage network, NeoFS, so that applications can store massive amounts of data. The development of the first release candidate (RC1) of NeoFS is expected to be completed in Q3 2019.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] LaLa World : An ecosystem for migrants and their families on: January 10, 2019, 05:41:45 PM
In the world of counterfeit, can you trust generic medicines?

[/center]

Medicine has been more than a synonym to the assurance of healing. Have a fever? Here is a paracetamol tablet. Have allergies? Here is a dose of cetirizine. Administering pills have always served the purpose of alleviating diseases. These life-saving drugs are not affordable for everyone, especially those which are from famous pharmaceutical companies and come with a heavy price tag.

Is LALA going to play a part in the prevention of counterfeit drugs? We all can see the potential in blockchain, but I wonder why these articles are being posted by the team all the time.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: January 10, 2019, 12:41:24 AM
some clarification for airdrop (which is not the end of the world !):

https://twitter.com/sasha35625/status/1082354044428001280

however still how much VST per WCT and WAVES is not known.

note that VST is also the ticker of vestarin on coingecko.com

There are so many tokens sharing the same tickers so it's not a confusing thing but people have to care about this when they want to make transfer. That is clear WAVES and WCT will be treated equally and will get rewarded with same conversion rate 1:1

No,
WCT will receive only 10%, rest for WAVES.

But that's only because there are 100 mil Waves and only 10 mil WCT. That's where the 10% comes from. In the end you will get the same amount of VST tokens per 1 Waves and per 1 WCT.

yes you are right, in the end we will get the same amount. but when viewed from the price it is more profitable to hold WCT, because the price is lower.

WCT is a quarter of the WAVES price, when the supply is 1/10. Hence, how can it be more profitable? Please clarify. Maybe my math is wrong...  Huh

It is more profitable to buy WCT to receive this airdrop then to buy WAVES to receive the airdrop because each 1 WCT held and each 1 WAVES held both receive 1 VST.

Some screenshots from Soccer Manager Crypto. Closed beta is still scheduled for end of January and you will be able sign up for it soon, if you are interested to do some early playing/testing. Game will be Windows first, then Linux/Mac and hopefully mobile later too (at least Android).

This looks cool, it is the type of game that can garner quite some attention. Looking forward to get my hands on this!
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 10, 2019, 12:29:32 AM
In some small way, we can all also help by spreading the word and trying to educate people about Stratis. I'm not meaning shilling (a very fine distinction to try to make, I'm sure), just an honest introduction to Stratis. For example, recently an influential member of the NEO team left NEO to explore other options. One of those options should be Stratis, but perhaps he needs a helping hand to find that out.

Who was this influential member that left NEO? Maybe we can contact him?

Interesting, only 39% chose to exchange back to ETH. I guess there is some faith in the eICN Token after all  Grin
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 08, 2019, 11:27:58 PM
A very balanced and thorough look at Stratis' recently released smart contracts offering:

https://medium.com/@garry.passarella/a-look-at-smart-contract-development-with-stratis-46e09e0c93b7

What a promising but honest take on Stratis smart contract development. These are the kind of hands down reviews that you want to see. Hopefully it will help convince other developers to put their boots to the ground and start development on Stratis as supposed to Ethereum.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: E-inovicing With SophiaTX on: January 08, 2019, 10:38:15 PM
With e-invoicing, SophiaTX eliminates many common invoicing challenges faced by global induestries.

Learn how the SophiaTX Blockchain is redesigning the way companies exchange documents in a new video here: https://youtu.be/N-WoFaSFdAw

The series of videos the team is producing is very interesting and insightful about the main possibilities this porject is leveraging for real businesses.

Indeed! This is a very real example of a very important use case for the project and it could benefit businesses by giving them advantages brought by blockchain technology.

I think so too, a great use case for SophiaTX. It must be marketed properly though, not much views on the video. Hopefully the marketing game will be stepped up too.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blacknet | IBO for BlackCoin | New code | PoS | No ICO on: January 08, 2019, 10:29:06 PM
Ideally he shouldnt have to update or duplicate every detail himself personally, someone could just screenshot from there to here.   Helping to spread the word on changes especially, thats a community thing

I think a community manager could be a useful thing for blacknet.

Someone who has some tech knowledge too whom can answer basic questions.

I mean this to me could be a very serious project since we have here the number 1 or one of the very best POS developers.

This sounds like a good idea. Anyone willing to step up to the plate? Cheesy
