161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 14, 2024, 11:19:30 PM
Anyone who thinks that the NYK will make a comeback in the next game as MSG?

I have them at -1.5 this early at 1.88 odds, I think despite that they lack personnel, they will have to bounce back in this game and the Villanova boys will have to find a way to win and get back the momentum in this series.
After that underwhelming performance from the Knicks in game four, i'm thinking they'll make it up by winning today's game. The Pacers can keep it close because their bench players can always put up points while the Knicks depend on their starters to have a big game. Then again, something might be up with the Pacers because the Knicks are barely the favorites this time compared to the first two games.

I'm also on the Knicks because I doubt they'll underperform two games in a row and this looks like it could go to a game seven.

162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accessing gambling sites only on desktop as a means to prevent addiction on: May 14, 2024, 04:34:51 PM
That's a good solution if you're starting to spend more time using your phone to gamble, and one of the things that helped me is a bit similar. In my case, the solution you mentioned wouldn't have much impact because I can easily switch through both desktop and mobile. Instead of reducing the ways I can access gambling sites, i'd limit the ways I can access my wallet so that I can't deposit any more once I lose my current bankroll and unnecessarily spend extra because of impulse gambling.

Team Secret got it done, but it was so sloppy that they almost lost it in the late game despite having mega creeps. VP nearly pulled off that game-ending backdoor, but Team Secret's Lifestealer was quick with the infest disarm on Lina.

Today, i'll go with Aurora to beat Shopify Rebellion, my main reasoning here is because of their matches against BetBoom, I know Shopify did look great during their win against Team Liquid, but there are still limits on the type of drafts they can roll with their stand-ins.

Max Win Baby!!! Thank you Stake.com.
Congrats on getting that x5000 max win in Lab of Lunacy. I've never had one in any slot game, but the potential winnings from a good bonus round can always be surprising.

Also, don't forget to claim this month's monthly bonus link through their telegram channel or email. I've reduced my wagering and deposit in the last couple of weeks, but i'm still surprised that the bonus they gave went up from $14 to $22.  Cheesy

  • MOUZ
  • nouns
  • Azure Ray
  • Heroic
Who would've thought Azure Ray would be on that list, I guess it's the downside of being a replacement team since they don't have time to prepare for this tournament.

Well actually I did pretty bad on the final so I probably ended up making only a little after losing big time on the final. I made -2.5 and -1.5 on Vitality to win, yep I got greedy and I thought this would be an easy win given how dominant Team Vitality was.

Thinking this back I guess my decision was plain stupid there and instead of taking -1.5 on Vitality after taking -2.5, I should have gone with MOUZ +1.5 instead or probably just go with MOUZ to win as countermeasure on my first bet. So yeah small amount of profit overall from ESL Pro League so good enough for me
I also fell for that Vitality trap and threw most of my profit on them to win. I almost lost it all if I didn't watch the final, but I still think it's the better bet because no one expected Vitality to have that off day in the most important match of the tournament.

We did it @ralle14, congratulations to us.
I trust the MVP, he will definitely bounce back and now he read the defense of the Timberwolves. It will be up to the Wolves again if they can adjust or tweak some of their plays because the old ones will not work against Jokic anymore. He is a master at reading the basketball map.
That upset from the Nuggets was intense and made me think they could collapse anytime since the Wolves only needed one run to tie the game.

I should've placed my bets several hours ago before the bad news came out from the Cavs as they don't have Mitchell and this is the chance for the Celtics to run away with the series. Now the line shifted by a few points, but I still expect the Celtics to cover the spread unless someone from the Cavs decides to step up and fill in Mitchell's spot.

Edit: The Celtics threw the spread and were close to losing the game, I should just stick with the team totals next time.  Lips sealed
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer the crypto online gambling or regular fiat casinos gambling? on: May 13, 2024, 03:45:45 PM
I'd pick online gambling if i'm going to do it regularly because you have to do extra steps to place bets physically, but if i'm gambling with my friends i'll always pick fiat casinos.

On the other hand, it's unusual to view cryptocurrencies as something without any value, I understand that the prices could swing down to almost nothing, but that'll take a lot of money before it can happen and there are crypto casinos that convert your balance to fiat if that's what you're concerned about.

With only the PGL Wallachia matches scheduled for today, here's my parlay (@2.62) for the next two series. Playing it safe with Team Liquid ML, they should beat the weakest EU team in this tournament within two maps, but you never know with Team Liquid's experimental drafts. Then the value pick on Team Secret because VP isn't performing any better and their odds might've been inflated after that 2-0 sweep against Heroic.

Now , I don't want to spoil it , but have you seen the Mouz performance at ESL finals ? 3-0 against Vitality and a massive and impressive performance from their entire team and a very deserved victory. Odds were also around 4 for Mouz to win but I decided to watch instead of betting.
That upset was unreal from Mouz, they didn't look that convincing throughout the playoffs, while Vitality looked like the best team at this tournament, only to underperform in the grand finals. I had Vitality in my pre-live tickets, then switched midway through the series after they looked flat at the first map and grabbed their -2.5 map handicap @3.00 odds.

They were the ones to take G2 out of the tournament from what I recall remember from your post on here earlier in the tournament. So they are the new misfit team to be the worldbeater in CS2 all the sudden?
What changed? Any shuffling in their roster or did they just get lucky like most one and done teams in these majors?
No roster changes happened between Mouz, but based on their team page, they did get Xyp9x as their assistant coach. They did get lucky with the series against Vitality, but still, they've always been a top team, it's just they're lacking the experience because of their young roster.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chased loss, got it back and lost everything. on: May 13, 2024, 02:00:08 AM
Anyone here familiar with this kind of scenario on the title? Just recently saw a compulsive gambler diary which he manage to recover everything when he chased loss then later on he loss it all.
I've gone through that pattern countless times and now it has helped me take an extra step to withdraw everything to my wallet or store it somewhere else whenever I break even.

Despite knowing the risks, it's always easy to keep falling for these mistakes because we always want to make the most out of our luck, but we forget how luck can quickly shift the other way, and all it takes is one streak of losses to waste that opportunity.

What a finish to that high-scoring round 9, only six goals for a point, and i'm glad Arsenal parked the bus to complete the draw. GG imarios and well played to your tough team.  Smiley

Our team will use this free week to prepare for round 10, and best of luck to the teams playing in this week's cup rounds.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 13, 2024, 12:07:51 AM
I have to go with the Nuggets as well, I believe they can pull it off for the second time on the road and deny the Wolves from going up 3-1 before they go back to Denver.

Not a good day for the Villanova trio. Brunson only had 18 points. Josh Hart cannot find his rhythm too, and Donte DiVincenzo not as hot as he was in Game 3.
The fatigue is probably setting in for some of their starters since they're always playing 40+ minutes a game.

Weekly Update(link)

Removed 8ombard from the table.
Moved Spinarium from PNYC to CFNP.
Moved Blackjack.fun from OFNP to CFNP.

I'll add the other table back once there's an available slot.

That win from Sweden pushed me back by another point again, I was hoping Team USA would come out on top to tie things up, but now I need both q8 and q9 for the draw.  Undecided

Both underdogs in the NBA just had to win on the road yesterday, and I could be trailing by two points again. They better keep things rolling on game three so imarios doesn't get the point.  Wink

I had no idea what to answer for the IIHF World Championship question by the way, but since the answers given by everyone vary a lot, I guess there wasn't that much advantage anyone could have who knows a lot about hockey?
I was also lost on the hockey question and chose the same teams as the one in the example. Tongue

180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 10, 2024, 12:18:11 AM
Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
I used to have a spreadsheet to track my bets but I eventually stopped because it already served its purpose and helped me take gambling less seriously. It still helps a lot if you're planning to take sports betting seriously, if you don't want to spend much effort you can find some tracking templates shared by other bettors.

If it's for luck-based games, it won't offer that much help because you're set up to lose even if you change your strategy or avoid specific games.
