161  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 01, 2022, 06:32:26 PM
I voted for YES but of course I am not completely favor on that because thee might be some small fall along the way but what I wanna support is the idea that bitcoin will keep coming back to 40k and may break 50-60k once more this march.
i am still confident on that as i am keeping holding my funds since late 2021.
If that is the case then you should have voted for the 3rd choice in the poll, that is also my pick because I'm no expert in predicting the price and I'm not confident with others' prediction as it can fail but like you I also like for the price to rise or stay in 40k at least so that I can now sell my coins for a profit.

Whenever there is a new month I always feel positive about the price of btc, same as when there's a new year or a new quarter except maybe on a new day or a new week because that is too short. Whales might know this as well so they use the opportunity to fake the price but we should be wiser than them, we should not hold any longer once the increase is happening.
162  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: March 01, 2022, 05:52:14 PM
For sure they wouldn't really be making any complaints if they do make out profits out of those further deposits despite of exclusion but if they do experience the opposite then this is the time they would really be making out those complaints which is totally unfair for Stake side.It is true that people do commonly or having that kind of behavior on blaming the site after they had lost their money which is totally bullshit if you do ask me.
If you are really that serious on having that cool down on your gambling activities then you shouldnt have considered on making out deposits. So it is really a matter of self control.
Of course they won't complain because they are winning and letting everyone know that you will win can only lead for them to beg if they are a player like you or if the owner sees it, they can rig your account to prevent you from winning the next time.

It is crazy but I sometimes think of it, that is why when I win I just make it a secret Grin. Let's say an excluded player could win but it is still not right because they already decided to exclude their self before to stop gambling. That only shows that they are not ready yet and better if they cancel the exclusion so that they can gamble on their main accounts again. Gambling using their main accounts is beneficial than a new account IMO.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: meta is the future ???? on: February 28, 2022, 01:49:20 PM
metaverse is the process which is going to make you feel the reality, that is a big thing & of course need lots of time. Effects will have seen on crypto market too, even metaverse market Capitalization already start increase and will be another big trend in this year, i believe. Lots of games and projects will use cryptos like Axie Infinity (recommended), sandbox and others. Still new altcoins project coming base on metaverse, so its wise to have knowledge before its late...
Yes, the Metaverse project looks like it will be big in the future and when Metaverse is ready to be developed 100% and has been used by the community then of course it will make the price of the coin as you mentioned be more valuable because it is very likely that the coin will be used by people in the Metaverse world and of course it will be used when they want to transact.
Maybe some metaverse projects are big but there are also projects that are small because I think they lack of funds or the idea of the team and its developers are only limited. You only think that all metaverse projects are big because they are still kind a new and you are expecting more from them but the metaverse projects that are already released are on their 100 percent already and they are now being used by the public although this doesn't equate that the value of their tokens will now pump, one example of it is axie.

The game is popular but it's in game token is almost dying now. I think the game still lacks of some features that other players are looking at.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting odds, bonuses and promotions on: February 27, 2022, 08:49:00 PM
Usually have some bonus game will make tread discussion about how much bonus and promotion giving then I see some expert on gambling got their bonus from 50$ until 300$ depending how much money spent on gambling site. But I am still not lucky although have try several gambling site but need to improved with betting skill how lucky to be winner and can success several dollar bonus. I see on some tread bonus gambling site have the same winning and looks they keep consistent on each gambling site, I still not only active on one gambling site but have several gambling site for playing.
From $50 to $300 may seem to be achievable and not really big but it's still impressive if you only got the capital in the form of a bonus and you don't deposit anything. What was the game all about where they can win consistently? If it's a card-based game well that is possible and they are just skillful but if it's a pure skill-based game, they must be very lucky to make the same wins but are you sure the wins are from normal users? Because they can also act like they win something but you won't know that they are a part of the gambling team.

Just don't give up but keep on practicing not only on one site but also on the other and I'm pretty sure that you will get your win too soon.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 27, 2022, 08:01:01 PM
Dortmund have no chance of winning the title. They are now 6 points behind Bayern Munich. As always, Bayern Munich will win the title this season. But if Haaland had not been injured, perhaps Dortmund are still fighting for the title.
Augsburg played very well against Dortmund, and this draw they deserved. Augsburg's goal was to score 1 point. And they did it. My guess is that we will see the Augsburg team in the Bundesliga next season as well.
Haaland back after injury, but it's not good sign for Dortmund as they lost few crucial points against team staying in relegation zone and now surely they are out of race for having any challenge for leaders Bayern because with this draw now they have 8 points gape, and it's going to be widened with their current form.

Most of time Augsburg was good in field, and they have done very good job against Dortmund which already out of Europa Cup and now this is second bad result for them in few days now in next few matches we will have some better guess about who is going into drop zone and who is going to stay here in Bundesliga because now its very crucial time in league with very few matches in remaining list.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: February 26, 2022, 04:34:01 PM
It is generally known that the Russian Central Bank’s stance is to ban crypto-assets, cryptocurrencies, arguing that they creates risks, primarily for citizens, and financial institutions, banks, and create an obscure settlement market.

But, Anton Siluanov (Russia’s Financial Minister) believes that banning cryptocurrencies is like banning the internet. He argued that although the risks the Central Bank is raising are understandable, but he once again reiterated that banning the sector is considerably worse than regulating it.

There are still debates on this issue and President Putin have encouraged the two financial bodies to find a solution to the deadlock.
If that the Russia government and central bank went ahead to ban bitcoin, there wouldn’t be much that they would be able to do to affect the cryptocurrency market, the only thing that would is that they will cut off  the transactions between users banks and the cryptocurrency exchanges (the centralized exchanges, to be specific).

Although that might have a little effect on the market for sometime, for the fact that a lot of people makes use of centralized exchanges as a way to make things easier for themselves when trading cryptocurrency, so they will be able to easily encash their money. But within a short time, a lot of people will switch to P2P.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 26, 2022, 05:58:27 AM
3 wickets for just 79 runs. Something went really wrong this time for the Newzealand side. Latham out for a duck and Young for just three runs. Nicholls and Mithchell have the ability to take them out of this situation. If these two also get out then Newzealand will be in deep trouble.
I was not expecting this performance from New Zealand bating line-up but very strong comeback by South African bowlers specially Rabada is pick of bowler but still very long way to go for them if they want to win this match and level this series currently Grandhomme is on counter-attack and he completely his fifty very quickly with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes in just 39 balls.

Right now, both complete fifty of partnership also which is good for home team as they lost early five wickets very quickly but still trailing by 216 runs but if they want alive in this match and want to win this series these both need to stay at crease for some long time. Now, after winning first test by bowlers and poor batting from South African in second test, New Zealand struggling in batting and feeling shortage of their experienced campaigner Ross Taylor and captain Williamson.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 26, 2022, 04:54:56 AM
The key take away from this Pak/India series is that there is no chance of series at least in this decade. Pakistan and India will only play in ICC tournaments like WC and Champions trophy. Lots of Pakistani and Indian players are good friends like we see Shoaib and Harbhajan tweeitng each other. So the issue is not of players but of rulers.
Right now any talk about Pakistan/India is completely waste of time because currently in India we have very strict religious peoples in control and their all politics is just against Pakistan, so they will never allow this even if they lost election then still there are no chances for any because currently hate is on his highest level with recently hijab debate is also working as oil in this fire, so I am feeling talking about this is also waste of time and energy we have too many other topics as well right now for talk just drop this idea and talk about other issues related to cricket and about development is much better for all members.

If few players are friends then still they can't afford many things because they all know how reaction can come against them which will hurt them and their families, so it's all just useless in subcontinent right now.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 25, 2022, 05:26:03 PM
I think it's not the scale of the casino, but the difficulty of implementing new technology. Let's say if I buy a VR/AR equipment I can use it in a variety of entertainment, ranging from the usual gaming and ending with immersion in the metaverse and online casino games (if we wait for it).

Land-based casinos in contrast to this have a fairly narrow range of applications of such equipment and besides, by and large, land-based casinos are attended mostly by people who are not interested in such technology.
I thought it is about the difficulty of creating a new technology? But, why you still compare online and offline casinos when both of them can in fact be compatible with that new technology? Physical casinos have a physical machines and the equipment like VR can be easily installed or attached to them than using the VR in the online casinos.

It is just that online casinos now are more hyped because the world now is starting to transform digitally. Having that said, I am afraid that online casinos can be given more importance or priority when trying out the newer technology and offline casinos can be left behind but it is not a big deal since like you said most players aren't into techy stuff.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 25, 2022, 11:25:05 AM
There are a lot of things that affect BTC price, it will not always trend sometimes it will also drop down because of panic seller and those who are weak hands in terms of holding. For now btc price drop and I believe that the conflict of the two countries Russia and Ukraine make BTC price fall.
What exactly is making people think that the war pressure between Ukraine and Russia is the reason why the price of Bitcoin has been dropping? Even both these countries have declared Bitcoin legal asset in their countries as of recent, so the dip in Bitcoin price has nothing at all to do with whatever conflict they may be having right now.

And in case you forgot, the price of Bitcoin has already started dropping long before now, so I don’t get why some people are trying to use this event that started as of recent to say that it is the cause of the Bitcoin price falling, when we all know that it is not true. After every bull run the price of Bitcoin usually dips, though there are things that might as a catalyst for it to happen, but in this case it has nothing to do with Russia and Ukraine.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: February 24, 2022, 08:05:06 AM
One more round of Championship is finished and strong winds are still blowing in United Kingdom, bringing some unexpected results.
Fulham managed to win and Mitrovic scored again like I predicted, this time it was two goals for him for 2:1 victory against Peterborough.
I watched one match and wind was blowing so hard that it was almost impossible to control the ball.
Cardiff had a lead until 88 minute and then they got two goals and lost the match in a stupid way.

New EFL round 35 is starting this weekend and FREE bet competition is now open:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5387060
Currently, we are in 34th round, but few teams are having 30 to 33 matches it's all just because of Covid-19 situation but still it's very interesting now Fulham going to face Cardiff most chances they will have full three points from here because Cardiff are struggling badly and have average form and Fulham is doing amazing job for staying at top.

Blackburn which was also doing good, but suddenly they lost their touch in game and now have the worst form in Championship with 5 matches without any goal and win mean now it's time for them to do some better otherwise they can drop out of playoff now their next challenge is QPR which is very good and can stay at this position for some more weeks now after long break Bournemouth is also going to face Stoke for their stay at second position with have three matches in hand and most chances they will stay here.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WING on: February 24, 2022, 05:28:58 AM
in 2016-2017 there was once a wing project, if I'm not mistaken WING DAO (sorry, CMIIW).
I briefly read the title of this thread, I was reminded of the WING DAO project, I wondered if this was an old project that was revived again.
Careful with projects that have the same name as the older projects because they can be a scam. The names and logo can be identical with each other but you will only notice the difference if you start comparing the contract address of both coins. This is one of the tactics that scammers use now, now that there are now different chains and old projects are now migrating on them but there are die hard projects that sticks to their old chains.

Edit: I check the coin the OP is talking about and I have read something about wing dao. Maybe it is really the coin your talking about? You can check it on this site https://wing.finance. But to OP's question if the coin is created by binance? No it was not. You can read on the very bottom of wing finance site that it was created by Ontology team.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying for your taxi with Bitcoins !! on: February 24, 2022, 04:52:32 AM
Great News This kind of news makes us very happy. Thus maybe one day the whole world will launch this bitcoin where all transactions. It is understood that Uber will launch the transaction soon. And taxi bills will be able to transact through all bitcoins.I hope this transaction system is launched very soon.
Not immediately, but still being considered whether you really want to be adopted or not. Uber is still doing research to ensure that bitcoin can be an optional payment instrument.
The adoption of bitcoin for taxi payments or services like this requires fast and instant transactions and of course everything still has to be thought about and adjusted, because it takes a long time to confirm bitcoin. maybe if you really want to adopt bitcoin, uber will provide a special platform or system that uses bitcoin or is integrated in its application. Everything is still being considered, we'll just have to wait and see if Uber will actually make it happen.
It is a good thing that they didn't rushed things because rushing things can make them disappointing if ever they ran into a problems and they could disallow their btc use again. Nobody wants to wait in every service and since we know that bitcoin is slow, maybe the costumers can pay in advance or book their rides now if they are going to use the service the next day or two.

In that way, they can accept their costumers payments and can confirm them to their list. Increasing the fee a little bit can also help to speed up the transaction process and i think the costumers wont complain with it because most users of uber taxi are i think rich people.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 23, 2022, 08:06:46 PM
Multan Sultans completely outclass Lahore Qalanders in qualifier of PSL it is really shameful end of this match because after end of Multan inning I was feeling great about Lahore they have done very good job and restrict them for good achievable target of 163, but sadly no batsman try to stay on crease and have some better chance for Lahore just Fakhar done good job and complete his another fifty and after end of 13 overs I was feeling now they can chase this target easily but suddenly introduction of Dhani bring down these all hopes, and he ruined Lahore batting with his classic bowling.

Wicket in every over for Multan really amazing from their bowlers and now most chances they will win again this title because after today's performance I am feeling they are unstoppable.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 23, 2022, 11:58:25 AM
The ones who are telling you to rid of the government are people who wish to control you.
Though bitcoin is decentralized, we can never get rid of the government as they are the ones who maintain the law and order of the world, without them, the decentralized world will be in chaos. Bitcoin is a currency, it does not have the power to control us, we are the ones who supports and give life to bitcoin, but without the support of the government, cryptocurrency will never be adopted and probably will not survive in the long run.
You got a point there. If there's no government in a country, there will be crimes everywhere. It is going to be scary to live in a country like that. That can also happen to bitcoin. Before when bitcoin was new, so many hacks and scams that happened but the moment bitcoin was now regulated, many criminals have got caught and the cyber crimes have now lessen because the criminals also knew that they are not safe anymore if they do crimes related to bitcoin.

Some people are waiting for the bitcoin to be recognized by the government before they get convinced to get involved in it. Government really plays a big role in the bitcoin adoption.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 23, 2022, 10:51:30 AM
I view Bitcoin to be the decentralized alternative to Fiat money as the financial system work as a chain, the CBDC will only be able to flow in the same chain when the centralized digital currency transaction can be verified through the blockchain. I quite agree with the views of others on this subject matter that Bitcoin and fiat shouldn't be compared since they both perform in different model.
True, both performs differently. The government won’t be able to stop Bitcoin, same way that bitcoin won’t be replacing fiat, they are both on a different route, and none is there to replace the other. We all make use of both, and so far I haven’t seen the reason why I would want Bitcoin to replace fiat or fiat stopping Bitcoin, because they are useful to me.

Bitcoin serves many purpose for me, it can serve as an asset for investment, or I can use for some transactions, also the same thing with fiat. And I am not the type that holds my money just in one place, I make use of different assets.
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: February 23, 2022, 02:35:15 AM
We may already be in a bearish trend, but I'm curious how you guys will react, if we continue this downtrend and the crypto market falls across the board in the next year or two, what will you guys do? Volatility seems to be a far cry from what we were in 2017 and the last crash, but if we were bearish for 1-2 years, what would you end up doing?
I don't want to create FUD or worry about anyone, this is just a post exploring perspectives and how everyone can mentally prepare. I'm confident for the next few years, I'm personally more bullish than bearish, but I'm ready for both directions in the market
Good question, I try to answer I'll hodl unless if urgency and need money then I'll sell it. Long term investment should not be affected if the price goes crash 1-2 year, sometimes they have a target between 5 to 10 years and they have a strong mentality and the money they put in is money they can afford to lose.
That's me as well. I have been hodling for years and I held a lot longer than that before as well, I just keep holding until some emergency happens. Unfortunately since we are not ultra rich people, whenever an emergency happens we cash out our investments and that ends with something like zero in our accounts again. I just recently had that, not all of my money but like 60% of my money is gone because I had debt and I was paying it small by small and I just realized I could simply pay the debt when it was higher (sold at around 45k so I am fine) and then I could end up putting more money in thanks to my debt being gone.

Not that I wasn't capable of paying my debt in any other way, it wasn't emergency but I saw it as a great idea to get rid of interest rate and put more money back in each month. Sometimes you just have to cash out for some reason. Otherwise I just keep it going as long as possible.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 22, 2022, 08:05:39 PM
At present, I am not very satisfied with the performance of Test cricket in India. Because they play very well at home but can't perform very well abroad.

Consideration needs to be given to Indian players performing outside the country. I think there are a lot of young talented players in India right now, they have ample opportunity to replace the national team players. So we who are fans of India, we have to expect good performance from them. Of course, now they are moving slowly in this regard which is a good thing.
It's very strange for me as you are not satisfied with Indian test cricket performance just after losing one series against South Africa even they won back to back two series in Australia, and recently they are winning a series against England.

Right now, they are very well-prepared and having all material for future it is very good time for them because they have enough funds, and they are doing all required things which can give them very good result in long term basis, and I am feeling currently after Australia they are very organized sports body in cricket because mostly others are struggling or having many issues specially finances are the biggest issue for many countries, but they are very well-prepared and have good talented players as well with recently win U19CWC is also very good and showing how they are good in their planning for future.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 22, 2022, 05:49:08 PM
I dont know whether it correct or not just my own thoughts that Kohli is most inconsistent player these days. As a regular batsman he scored his last century in 2019, so its three years since he scored a ton. I strongly feel that India must try some new talent in place of kohli while he regain his form in domestic player. Kohli totally failed in SA tour and chances are he may repeat same performance against SL.
I agree with you regarding his recent form, but dropping him would be a bad idea. Still, it would be OK if the selectors want him to be rested for one series (should be a home series against a team other than the pig-4). The Indian team is full of talent and we have seen exceptional performance from players such as Venkatesh Iyer in the recent matches. I would like some changes in bowling lineup as well, as they can't be overdependent on players such as Shami and Bumrah. There is no harm in giving a match or two to some of the promising young pacers.
Dropping Kohli is completely nonsense because he is a legendary player, and he needs some good support from his team and management which is currently available, and it's very good and agree here they need to give him sometime, and he can take rest against Sri Lanka because they are not good enough and this rest surely will give him some physical and mental strength which is very important before mega event which is going to play in October in Australia. IPL is really significant for him, so he can't drop this, so skipping Sri Lanka is much better for him and his form.

Now after losing captaincy from all formats it's surely good for him because now he can concentrate on his batting which will help in remaining part of his career but sometime back I was feeling he can break few Sachin's record, but now it's not looking with in frame.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 21, 2022, 08:25:49 PM
Barcelona are really promising for the next season for now. Because they have improved their performance a lot recently and this is helping them about getting satisfying results in the league matches. They are my number one contender for the fourth spot right now. I don't think that Atletico Madrid are better than them to finish the season there. And it looks like we can see something changing for Atletico Madrid this summer. Diego Simeone could leave and they might make some other important changes for the benefit of the team.
After having the worst start of this season and poor performance in Champions League now they have something to cheer as their few new signing working for them and giving some good and positive end of this season which was really just dream after very poor start.

Auba is having dream entry and done hat trick which means great for Barcelona fans because now they can feel very good for end of this season and very good start of next season currently they are at fourth with having great chance to achieve third spot because their performance is on top and Betis facing some problems now in next round Barcelona facing Athletic Bilbao which is very crucial for them if they want to achieve some good in this season and Sevilla is going to face Betis which will surely going to help Barcelona.
