Ime Udoka, Alperen Şengün'e hak ettiği süreyi veriyor acemilik dönemleri çok geride kaldı. Houston- Denver maçında maça dahil olması biraz geç oldu Alperen'in özellikle hücumda geç açıldı fakat oyun genelinde oldukça iyi iş çıkardı. Alperen birebirde Nikola Jokicle eşlediği maçta Jokic'i gayet net savunabildi buda Alperen'in ne kadar düzgün geliştiğini gösteriyor maça genel katkısı da oldukça fazlaydı. 35 dakika süre aldığı oyunda Alperen tam 23 sayı buldu. Fred VanVleet'in ardından takıma en çok skor desteği sağlayan oyuncu oldu. Alperen'in önü çok açık, böyle zor maçlarda daha fazla süre aldıkça daha rahat oynayacaktır eminim bundan.
