161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo based Stable coin will change Stable coin history...? on: April 05, 2019, 08:38:21 AM
i really don't understand the point of stable "tokens". a stable coin is a standalone blockchain that doesn't rely on any other coin and its blockchain. for example although Tether is a layer on top of bitcoin you still mine its blocks individually and it has its own blockchian. but a token will reply on another chain forever and if anything happens to that, they will be affected to. not to mention that they will be limited because development-wise you are limited to what the platform offers you.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Converted all altcoin back to BTC on: April 05, 2019, 08:20:17 AM
your biggest mistake is being late which is one of the most common mistakes that newcomers make in the altcoin market. it doesn't matter which coin you bought and how long you held or whether you converted it back to bitcoin eventually, what matters is that your timing was awful!

the market works this way:
- when bitcoin falls, altcoins get dumped. so the option here is to sell everything to fiat
- when bitcoin rises, altcoins get dumped. so the only option here is to sell everything to bitcoin.
- when bitcoin is stable altcoins get pumped. there are two options here. first is to accumulate bitcoin since it is stable and is getting ready for its rise. second is to go to altcoin market and enjoy the pumps.

in all these 3 stages you have to have a good timing. for example in your case you should have sold the second bitcoin started big rises and broke out of $4200 line. that way you could have gotten the most amount of profit. but since you waited until price went as high as $5000 and then dumped your altcoins you got the least amount out with a big loss since altcoins were already dumped by then.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 05, 2019, 07:25:29 AM
neither one of them can be effective at all as long as the funds that are being raised are either going to be used for pure scam purposes or for useless token creations where the developers take the money and move on with their lives forgetting all the promises and fake advertisement they have been doing prior to receiving those funds.
this is actually one of the main reasons why IEOs are no different than ICOs and they are still struggling to raise funds in general although their newness has helped with some of the first IEOs.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Key Reasons Why DeepOnion Will Become The Top Anoncoin In 2018 on: April 05, 2019, 07:06:38 AM
in my experience if an altcoin could really become "top" in its own group (in this case DeepOnion in the group of anonymous coins) then it would have done it already in its first 6 months to 1 year of existence specially when they are hyped a lot and advertised widely all over the internet during that time which DeepOnion did do all of that but it could never become big enough to even get closer to big anon coins such as Monero for example. so i don't see it doing that in the future either.

and lets not forget that DeepOnion, unlike the real anon coins, does not enforce usage of full anonymous features so it can not really compete with those that do.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the roller coaster repeat? on: April 05, 2019, 06:56:12 AM
it has been repeating already!

i am surprised that you have not seen it yet. you can easily go to a website such as coinmarketcap or even your exchanges where you trade and sort their list based on the percentage that they have been pumped over the past 24 hours. just remember that you have to see the whole list not just a small portion of it like from 1 to 50 or 1 to 100.
then you can easily see each day that there are shitcoins that are being pumped 1000% in a day or two then get dumped hard down to zero.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the market completely recovered on: April 03, 2019, 09:08:24 AM
why is it that every time we see a small rise people call it "bull run" and every time we see a tiny drop they call it a "dump or bear market"? do people don't know what these terms mean or are they just overly excited when it comes to bitcoin?

as for recovery, we have not yet recovered completely because price is still below $6k and the actual bull run which has been postponed 6 months ago has not yet started.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: This John McAfee-Pumped Cryptocurrency Has Major Red Flags on: April 03, 2019, 08:25:20 AM
ever since John McAfee started talking about bitcoin and predicting its price every day on every news channel and on every social media back in 2017 he has been planning to pump shitcoins. he even started pumping them a couple of months after he gained the required popularity. so this is not news really that he is still doing the same thing!

in addition to all that he was even getting paid $100,000 for every tweet that he posted in 2017 advertising ICOs. he has lost all credibility ever since.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Veriblock IEO finish in 10 seconds, what's your take? on: April 03, 2019, 08:11:03 AM
there are only two possibilities here in my opinion.

1. there is a lot of newbies leftover from the ICO days who are desperate to gamble their money in new ICO and ICO-like things and try to win back a small part of their huge loss. so with introduction of new things like IEO they fall for it and think things have changed and they can make profit so they jump on board with their eyes closed.

2. there is something shady going on in the background. possibly even money laundering so they never wanted to allow anybody else to participate in their thing, they just wanted to run a fake front while they washed their dirty money under our nose using a shady exchange like bittrex which after losing a huge part of their market share is now desperate to make money so the bribes are a highly possible situation here too.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is red all over again... on: April 03, 2019, 07:41:57 AM
What date is that? As far as I know yesterday the market increasw jump very high. And if you try to check again the market is already increased more and now is $5000 . This coming next few days I expect more jump value of the bitcoin and the altcoins.
Market now is all green again better to change it to that. But if people panic again it become red again if the people not take care of what aalready hitted the bitcoin.

it is green only if you look at their USD prices but that is false and misleading you should look at the real value which is in BTC not in USD.
so next time when you visited coinmarketcap.com, change the settings on top from USD to BTC and you will see how they have been getting dumped.

after all most exchanges have only ALTcoin/BTC markets with some ALTcoin/Tether markets with a much lower volume. and majority of traders are only trading against bitcoin so we shouldn't be even looking at anything else.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is red all over again... on: April 03, 2019, 07:27:14 AM
Yes market was red at that time and every time when bitcoin goes high most of altcoins goes low in trading pair alt/BTC, i don't know why always happen but this is it, i expect to grow more bitcoin this month.

i believe that the reason for it is two things.
first is the arbitrage traders who see the difference and start buying some pairs and selling it on the other pair market. for example buying ETH/USD then selling ETH/BTC and enjoying the BTC price rise. that can also explain why the altcoin dumps is not that big and right in the middle.
second is the fact that traders have always been aiming to make more bitcoin not more altcoins. the main reason why altcoin market exists and is pumped every day is to help them make more bitcoin. so in the end when bitcoin rises everyone dumps their altcoins to get their bitcoins out before they lose value.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 02, 2019, 08:39:59 AM
unfortunately there is no solution to something that is seriously flawed. there shouldn't be any KYC for any of the bounty hunters in first place specially since they are not really participating in the fund raising and they are only "workers" that are supposed to be paid for their time that they waste advertising these crappy projects to other users.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Market is red all over again... on: April 02, 2019, 08:27:03 AM
once again the bitcoin price rise has led to a massive altcoin dump all over the altcoin market as they continue losing value against bitcoin and show red on the charts. interesting point is that the top coins with bigger market cap are dropping harder than the smaller coins which is probably due to the arbitrage opportunity between the ALT <> USD <> BTC which is also partly the reason for the ALT/USD small rise.

173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin "BIG" Green Candle on: April 02, 2019, 07:37:02 AM
this has been expected all along.
in case you have forgotten price has not been making any kind of movement for a very long time (4-5 months) and we have been stuck in this low level and it needed to be corrected.
each time this type of reversal correction happens there is a big surge coming with it. in fact i am very surprised about why this is not yet a much bigger surge to above $5k.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just surpasses it all time highs on: April 01, 2019, 12:23:25 PM
Accumulating:) Btc need a few more years to surpass its ATH!

LOL
it won't be that long, just like each time in the past that we were in the same dip after a bubble it never took a "few years" to recover and get out of that. this time is not going to be any different. if anything this time the market is so much bigger and the adoption is growing faster than all the previous times so it should take even less time to reach the previous ATH and set a new one at $100k.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future price prediction for Ripple? on: April 01, 2019, 12:09:48 PM
there has never been any future for coins that satisfy any or all of the following conditions:
- are centralized
- are shady
- have a huge premine
- have a huge circulating supply
- have no cap
- are considered shitcoins because they don't offer anything useful.
and XRP satisfies all of the above except the no cap thing but considering the cap is 100 billion it might as well have no cap too.
so the only potential left for these coins is the short term pumps where a pumping team picks them up and pumps them for a short time before dumping them again and leaving int for long periods like 1 year+.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anonymous coins... on: April 01, 2019, 12:04:12 PM
this KYC that you are talking about here only concerns exchanges and when you buy any coin (including the anonymous coins) from an exchange you do NOT have any kind of anonymity! so whatever else you are trying to conclude here based on this anonymous thing is wrong since it doesn't make any difference to investors that are already submitting their documents on exchanges and are trading all the coins from bitcoin to anonymous coins and down to every single shitcoin in the same manner!
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising ICOs that didnīt live up their expectations on: April 01, 2019, 11:40:57 AM
If the project is very promising and the idea is good, the project can consider extending the ICO time. Since the market is currently very bad, investors are not willing to invest. When the market recovers, I think it will be better.

it will never be better for the ICO tokens that already exist. the best thing you can ever hope for them is a small pump that may or may not come which would last only a couple of hours up to 1 day tops where they get pumped then dumped to die for good.
when the market gets out of this overall dumping stage is when the new coins are starting to be created and be pumped not the old ones.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency actually the global version of Dark Net? on: April 01, 2019, 11:28:42 AM
that is a very dumb thing to say!
it is like saying US dollar is the next version of global terrorism. of course there are a lot of illegal activities and shady people including terrorists using USD but that doesn't change what USD is for. similarly saying cryptocurrency is the version of darknet is just as dumb. of course you can say it for very special and rare cases where a coin was created to only be used in dark net and not anything else in which case you can make such statement but you have to be specific about it.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 01, 2019, 11:15:24 AM
the question you should ask yourself is about whether ICOs were good in their future which is the current time. and since they weren't and instead they are dying these days you can get your answer too as IEOs are no different from ICOs apart from the name and the cost. so they are heading towards the same grave.

the only way a project can be good and have a future is if it has some usability and since none of the ICOs had that also since no respected developer ever runs an ICO scam, you can be sure that there is no future for them.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does ICO projects became an April Fools? on: April 01, 2019, 11:05:29 AM
i honestly have never seen any ICO that has ever been "promising". there has only been cases where the team showed a better capability of pumping their useless token but none of them had any future from day one and that part has always been too obvious for me and it is now obvious to everyone else too as they have seen their demise over the past year and also seeing how the new ones don't even live to see the light of day.
