The brick is 4A @ 12V = 48 W. 48 W / 5V = 9.6A = 10 ports at 0.9A each + 0.6A leftover Aha, didn't notice the voltage. Thanks for clarifying.

paid in 5.5btc, got 5.34 back. not quite what i expected, but i see there was something about fees.
don't want to argue about it, and if you do come up with the extra .16btc, you can keep it. i'd hate to have been in your position.
shame this didn't go through in the end, but what can you do.
thanks,
We still paid John K his escrow fee; he fulfilled his side of the bargain and is entitled to the agreed upon fee.

This isn't John K.'s first Rodeo. There's a reason he's so popular as an escrow agent. Let's have a little faith in our escrow.

How is it that the API access is unreleased/not made public, yet there are trade bots working the exchange?
Because bots can emulate people accessing the site; there aren't any captchas once you're logged in.

I think the sheet is still a work in progress. There are over 90 people participating in this group buy, and his sheet is only 22 long. I'm hoping that 68 people don't have issues.

Yay! It has begun! John, let me know if you need any clarification on anything. Thanks!

post in thread and PM JohnK thanks! I'm an idiot about this I know... I sent my payment and then I got pulled in for a business trip that went to hell and I honestly have had a crazy life the past few months before I logged back in here.... Ugh. I never posted on this thread... This is something you'll have to check back with John K. about. One thing I did notice is that after John K. paid for the chips, there were two additional transactions; one paying John K for his 11 some odd btc for the escrow service + 7.821 for Raging's Fee (Anyone know what happened to that by the way? Here's the txid: 36905473f73a53874f81da80629be982ec269116e59c0ca723032f94e9aae149. Did Raging already get paid? Maybe that's why he doesn't mind "not getting his fee"?), and then another for 5.16 btc to this address: 16kbqtQNtLGvERubGS4QDmgLgv5fQAQcZy (tx id: e03868aa432c035196bd7476551ac5fafec8b7d5915b256c7385d778c5fa0528) Is that yours? Did you get your refund? Maybe that's a reserve address where John K. parked your money. No. I did NOT get paid. John.K kept everything. I never received a single BTC from this GB. Go back to earlier posts to verify this. I wasn't accusing, but it's odd that your exact payment was paid to some address; I presume John K. set it aside.

Jesus H. Christ. how many times do I have to "confirm" and reconfirm that I just want my chips sent to the address I paid with? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, send refund to the address that was paid with: 1Dq9q8MBbXFVSSHBtoysxnMwRzeG6rGtTo Status: 30965 confirmations Date: 4/26/13 22:23 To: Group Buy for ASIC chips 1At75rKd6e8b7S7AAPzZ5V3kAzhkGYhnpU Debit: -6.83077137 BTC Net amount: -6.83077137 BTC Transaction ID: 883e85f8e5a58918975a2284205b73e009e40ca3f77c32753740f1da9e7bfcb1 If this is STILL not good enough, send me a PM. I don't have time to waste reading a billion different posts that aren't relevant to anything. PM me if you need something from me. Otherwise, John K., please process my refund (I hereby confirm that I want it sent to 1Dq9q8MBbXFVSSHBtoysxnMwRzeG6rGtTo). ...preferably sometime before Christmas. Sorry dude; I didn't mean to piss you off. I'm doing this in an unofficial capacity; if you feel John K. has what he needs, then don't feel inclined to do anything else. He's in charge of the money and he's in charge of the refunds. I just thought people would appreciate someone being proactive and trying to consolidate things. redphlegm put out a form, and I thought that was a good idea except anyone could fill out the form with anyone's bitcointalk username. I figured it may be a better idea to confirm through bitcointalk directly so we know that addresses are associated with usernames. This still doesn't protect against hacked usernames, but I just thought people would appreciate an attempt to consolidate refund information. Edit: also I don't have transactions and addresses tied to usernames, and some people don't want or can't use the address they paid with. Otherwise I would have included that in my consolidation sheet. I sent my refund address on 2 different google docs forms, and also to John K. Then my refund address was listed as unconfirmed on bigben's list yesterday. I've now pm'd bigben with my refund address.

Refund Address Update: The following users still haven't PM'd or posted a return address: 456191 alle.sello AmpEater Hiroaki nebiz tromacca' *not real nick* ZeroPAiN
I don't know who tromacca is (because that's not the real nick) so I'm going to assume that this person doesn't want to be known. I'd urge you to PM John K directly. Unconfirmed addresses outstanding for the following people: CoinHoarder conv3rsion dancrn davecoin Egon flowdab fmerli jordan314 ragmondo RayJay salt samurai1200 stannum wrenchmonkey xbaby
We're almost there. Now if only we can get John K to weigh in.

Also, side note. I take security very seriously and I've been thinking about the best way to assure everyone involved that I haven't modified anyone's 'verified' address, and I believe the best way to do that is to post the entire list here (once the list is finished) and have another trusted user quote it so that it can't be changed once it's posted. I know that I'm trustworthy, but a dishonest person would say the same thing, so I want to make sure there are no questions about the validity of my list.
If anyone has a better method, let me know.
A hybrid method might be to do that but to also sign it with John K's public key too found hereGood idea. Will do.

Did I miss something or why is the share tanking so hard to 0.01?
Bitfunder is shutting out US customers; lots of people are pulling out now.
|
|
|
Also PM'd to (re?)confirm my address
Do we need 100% for refund? Or could it be issued to say, 75% that has confirmed it/etc and the other 25% thereafter? I'm not sure if the logistics make this impossible or risky?
I think it should be easy to send the minimum refund to all confirmed addresses, and then wait for additional confirmations as they occur. However, John K. holds the btc so we really need him to weigh in on all of this.

thanks a ton, but we really need John K to earn his money and deal with us as soon as he can
since he got paid for this, he should deal with us all directly to confirm. Not sure what he is doing but seems like we are scammed. It is half way to Oct soon
I agree. John K. has been absent for a few and it's making me a little anxious; but I've participated in other group buys that John K escrowed and never had a problem. I don't think we are scammed, if John K has announced that we received a refund. John K. probably should confirm individually, but since he's not here now, I'm just doing what I can to A) try to move things along and B) pass the time waiting for my refund.

"Mine at a loss". Now that's a winning business plan.
It's a "lose-less" business plan, as opposed to the "lose-more" business plan of just selling them. This assumes of course you could offload these bad boys on the next spike of bitcoin interest.
