TO THE DEV: why not accept BTC or other currencies, including fiat, for the data service you're offering? Just charge more for the use of non-CLD currencies or offer discounted rate for using CLD. Don't try to become the sole currency, live harmoniously, but offer a way to pay with CLD that makes ppl want to go through the additional step of buying CLD..

Introducing: ShadowSend Hey guys, I am pleased to announce that we have successfully implemented Anonymous Stealth Addresses into our upcoming wallet release. The stealth system was first described by Peter Todd for use with Bitcoin but to our knowledge, we have developed the first open source C++ implementation of Anonymous Stealth Addresses using OpenSSL. A version of stealth addresses has been implemented by SX and DarkWallet, but our implementation has been developed completely independent of either project. We have developed Dual-Key Stealth Addresses, which allow transactions to be received even while the wallet is closed, and for security, the coins will not be spendable until the wallet is unlocked. Our stealth solution has been developed for ShadowCoin but we believe that our implementation is the best currently available and will be used for bitcoin in the near future. This week we will be releasing ShadowSend, a capable, efficient and decentralized anonymous wallet solution that does not rely on coinjoin or any centralized node structure. This wallet will allow transactions to remain anonymous while the stealth address system is used. ShadowSend's stealth addresses will soon be layered with zk-snarks to further increase security and privacy of the anonymous solution, this will be the first system of its kind available in bitcoin or altcoins. Update - 13:11 UTC 10/07/2014New wallet version v1.0.1.7, this release is not mandatory if you're running 1.0.1.6, but updating is encouraged. While releases are tested prior to launch, there might still be hidden issues. We recommend that you always have a backup of your wallet.dat before updating. Update notes:- The strength bar's tooltip now shows an estimated coins required for the next rank. (thanks to soupapinto for the idea!)

While this shouldn't be an issue anymore; there are always a few people with sync issues (usually coming from older versions with broken blockchain states), so to help them, we supply a file with a pre-downloaded block state. In order to make use of this you need to delete your old blockchain files (txleveldb, database, blk0001.dat, peers.dat), and then copy the extracted bootstrap dat to your folder (note that the wallet has to not be running for all this). Then you can start up your wallet and it should scan the blockstate in bootstrap.dat. The bootstrap can be downloaded hereNote: this only applies to users that are unable to sync all the way to the current blockchain height of 26k+. But feel free to use the file to speed up your blockchain download if you're starting from scratch. You can find the blockchain data files in these locations: Windows: %APPDATA%\Guerillacoin (just type into search or run menu)

I just buy some Guerillacoin and put them in my wallet . How long will it take for me to see my 1st Stake coin come in ?
PS. is the wallet i get " not staking because you don't have mature coins " ?

Coins "mature" after being in your wallet for approximately 1hour and 40min. They cannot stake until they are mature. it been 2hr and 40 min in my wallet and have not mature will it take longer than I thought ? and one more ? do i need to keep the wallet run all the time to receive stake ? I like to turn off my pc to save my on by bill ..... Kevin you dont need to have it open all the time, if you do tho you could earn more transaction fees and help secure more the network, but if you normally turn off your pc at night, just keep doing the same and open it during the day. |
