161  Other / Meta / Re: What is the function of the "Merit" score? on: January 25, 2018, 12:27:07 PM
The new merit system is interesting, so just to make sure i understood it clearly - By posting in threads with good quality messages instead of "one liners" will earn you merit.

Ok, it sounds pretty much like a type of bounty...but what i still don't understand is, what is the merit used for?  does it have any use? how does the user benefit from merit?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: January 25, 2018, 12:21:56 PM
Investing when the market dips is the best time to invest. The goal is to hold it until you see good profit. Choosing a good coin that will give you good profit is another story.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 25, 2018, 12:18:57 PM
The ultimate plan is to make some money and have a financially secure future for our offspring. So we use the time we have to work in real life, work in crypto and try earn us some money from investing and trading crypto currencies also.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to 100% invest into 1 alt coin, which would it be? on: January 25, 2018, 12:13:00 PM
I would probably invest it all into Ripple because it's the next best Cryptocurrency. Yes its centralised, yes its controlled by banks but the truth is, it's the strongest altcoin after Ethereum and  the developers are constantly working on making it better, with hedgefunds and with new announcements to make its tech even better. Banks control the world of fiat, so with them using Ripple tech means that Ripple will always be used and should show growth.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hi everyone! on: January 25, 2018, 11:57:23 AM
I would suggest looking into ICOs but before you do so, read about them, visit their website, check the whitepaper and look into the teams. You need to do good research before investing in any ICO. Having said this, i was participant in trade.io a few weeks back and now im looking to participate in the DIW Token whitelist which is open now.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 25, 2018, 11:50:26 AM
I would suggest in Ripple and Cardano or Ethereum Classic. These will show positive movement in the next few months. They have made announcements of new updates coming to the their tech and it will be good for investors to look into these.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any INNOVATIVE ICO's you know? on: January 25, 2018, 10:47:19 AM
I know a few good ICO's that are innovative but one that stood out are GoNetwork and DIW Token. Both very good and DIW Token is showing promising movement. It's currently on whitelist stage and preparing for next stage of the project. They are allowing members to participate in the whitelist now and those will receive benefits. The project itself is about Decentralized Security. By creating a Decentralized Identification Wallet on their platform will allow you to securely store all your virtual information into this digital wallet, where you will be able to access this information at any time.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Security by diwtoken.com - Your thoughts for a penny on: January 23, 2018, 10:46:17 AM
I read a little about this project. But I can not say exactly in detail, but it seemed to me that the project was quite interesting, although I did not understand what number the project plans to open the ICO, but judging by the fact that it is broken down into several levels, I think the fees will not be small

Agreed, the project has not yet stated the launch date of ICO but according to their telegram group they will be announcing soon. I guess the developers of this project want to get it all right before they release the project into the world.
Fee's are an important aspect, yes. Hopefully we get answers soon, so we know how to invest or proceed with this ICO.

We hope so because the idea of the project is quite interesting and the site is very well designed, the project does not look like scam. We will follow the project further, because, as I said, I think the project will be very promising.

Well said, personally i am following this closely, as are others that i've seen on this forum. I've seen it listed on many listing sites too, no matter what happens i believe it will be quite big.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Security by diwtoken.com - Your thoughts for a penny on: January 18, 2018, 10:32:12 AM
I think it is a very promising ICO.
I agree with your thought:
" I believe that this project is set be one of 2018’s biggest ICO success stories as it provides solutions to current major problems. I think that participating in this project would be a safe bet and a sound investment."

Also what seems to be good is the fact that  DIW’s digital vault will allow it to accept, maintain and selectively share Electronic Health Records.
And their roadmap looks to be achievable all in 2018.  I am very excited to see what else DIW will bring. I will most likely be investing in this ICO.

Having an ICO that can achieve it's goals as promised is important, it all boils down to the development team and with the help of the advisers this project could actually be great for 2018.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Decentralized Security by diwtoken.com - Your thoughts for a penny on: January 17, 2018, 12:05:52 PM

In my research on different ICO's, I've recently come across a new ICO called DIW Token, and i would like to know your thoughts on this upcoming ICO.

This is their website https://www.diwtoken.com/

Do you think it's good? Is it promising? Invest or not? Let the community know your thoughts on this ICO. In the meantime, here is a little bit about DIW Token that i have found, perhaps you can share more about this ICO in the thread below.

DIW plans to bridge and solve issues with the introduction of its global, blockchain-based, decentralized network complete with its own ecosystem and currency.

To gain access into the network, members will be provided with a Secure Vault, where they will be able to store their entire ‘Digital Life’ including documents such as identities, passports, KYC & KYS, financial, contracts, health records as well as login details.

Organizations as well as individuals around the globe, will be able to join in and exchange their services in the form of a Global Directory. The network will ensure that their identity is validated and their details accurate. Transactions will be completed in full transparency and all network members will be able to see each member’s real life performance in the form of a rating score.

The DIW token will be used and accepted throughout the network for transactions between its members, enabling higher security. Additional security services such as a digital contract-based escrow service will also be offered.
To top it all up and follow the crypto currency trend, DIW plans to introduce its own Payment Gateway that will be easily integrated within e-commerce websites accepting both fiat as well as crypto currencies enabling the utilization of crypto currencies in everyday life.

To finalize, I believe that this project is set be one of 2018’s biggest ICO success stories as it provides solutions to current major problems. I think that participating in this project would be a safe bet and a sound investment. That's just my thought, what do you think?
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ideal cryptocurrency. What should it be? on: January 15, 2018, 08:24:49 AM
Any platform that has a good working product, that is Decentralized and that works for the community and society as a whole would be the ideal cryptocurrency.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto prices are going down. on: January 15, 2018, 08:20:24 AM
It seems so. Most coins dropping, but soon enough they will rise again and it will be back to normal again.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO or XRB or AION? on: January 15, 2018, 08:19:28 AM
Out of the 3 coins you mention, i would consider NEO. Its the best Altcoin straight out of China and it has potential in long term.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 15, 2018, 08:18:33 AM
I consider Airdrops to be something like a side income. They are not very profitable but probably worth collecting if you have the time.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: January 15, 2018, 08:16:42 AM
Usually its the popularity that make a Coin valuable. If investors feel that any particular Coin has good tech and that it can be used then they will invest in it. The same goes for ICOs. If members see that an ICO has something good to offer and that it has potential, then it will something to invest in.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will sia coin hit $1 ? on: January 15, 2018, 08:12:29 AM
I don't expect it to go to $1 anytime soon, but the truth is, i didn't expect Stellar to go that high either, i guess with some whale manipulation, anything can happen.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: January 15, 2018, 08:09:39 AM
Most of my news and updates come from websites, forums and telegram groups. All the information One needs is there, all you have to do is pay attention.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is all Green in the Crypto World on: January 15, 2018, 07:59:22 AM
It was all green a few days ago, now its gone red.  This goes to show that the market is still volatile and we need to be careful before investing anywhere.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: January 15, 2018, 07:54:46 AM
I recommend investing in a coin that has shown signs of life in the last 2 months  Cheesy  Litecoin is moving really slow, and i feel it won't budge anymore, just like Bitcoin.
I would look at coins like Ethereum, Ripple, Monero or Stellar for long term.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: January 15, 2018, 07:51:11 AM
Coins besides Ethereum that i like are Stellar, Ripple, Monero and Ethereum Classic.
All of the above are coins that have potential and i believe they will rise in 2018.
