161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 18, 2017, 05:53:34 PM
I built 6 x Gtx 1060 rig today, and I had friends help me and it's running fine now.
After about 40 minutes MSI Afterburner freezes and GPU1 says it has zero power. But when I refresh my miner status, it keeps updating.

This lag/freeze thing has been happening since I installed windows, and I'm sure it's not the power supply. Any thoughts??

It's afterburner issue. And all third party oc softwares, btw

Beta driver + Beta AB + Claymore 9.8 + clean Windows 10 Home x64 installation

= only -96mv and +30-40W per card for 2mh/s.

Did anyone receive the airdrop from slack?

No

anyone else had issues with lost connection on ethermine pool since updating to 9.8 or in general?

Yes, may be ethman error(its ok in cmd). But I'm back to 9.7.

0.48 SIGT from 35 blocks on supernova with 32mh/s. Must be something like 0.05-0.06 SIGT per block according the pool hashrate.
And no transactions for last 14 blocks. Disappointing.

15,500 miners on the site, what do you expect? some moved their eth rigs to mine and have outrageous hash rates earning 15,000 coins per day.. hard to earn coins competing with that.. they will go away soon once its not profitable for them

Please, read before posting.

according the pool hashrate.

Again.This is for half hour.

Must be something on your side, i've switched the pool to PPLNS - if you don't have any share within the last 10 blocks it's definitely something on your side.

No, everything is ok here. Pool shows hashrate too. Only payments are incorrect.

0.5 mh/s up. Mining great(better than 0.9.7.1) for now.

The miners shows it. Starting diff is 0.5 or 1 last days, vardiff after.

yes, but if you set your difficulty manually using the password field - p d=0.064, it will start off at .5 then after like 30 seconds or so switch to the diff you set in the worker.
Not working for me from 2-3 days, told you. Ccminer and sgminer.

Now

No payments for 28062 and 28064. And this is permanent for fast blocks. Proportional shits.

Wel difficulty spiked up to 40K thats why i think on that moment you get low shares

Its from prop payout system.

are you using the vafdiff, or have a worker diff set manually ?

Manually not working from 2-3 days. And does not correspond. You just need to have an accepted shares for the block mining time.

Suprnova stealing coins?

No, just uses unfair payout system. Aka proportional.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 07, 2017, 11:32:37 AM
My 6x 1060's have been running at 24 intensity.  IS there any benefit it lowering the intensity?  I get about 9.5-9.5 coins per hour.  Rig is stable and shows 97mh/s.  Whattomine shows i should get closer to 10.5 with this hashrate but I dont achieve it on Suprnova.

Dont use suprnova u get less coins on suprnova due to the fact that they dont use pps or pplns...
what are you talking about, he has the most trusted mining pool.

https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/6roz7s/psa_avoid_suprnova_pools/
supernova has been around as long as mining was possible,i can tell u one thing he is honest always

lol the guy that posted that must be the same guy who flamed about my ZEC pool a few days ago.

It's actually correct that prop pools are vulnerable to "pool hoppers" whenever nicehash rentals are available but as far as I know nicehash didn't implement the algo yet.
If that happens, I can always switch to PPLNS .. Many pools actually have that payout scheme already.. ZEC for example

Switch it now.

Its no for pool hoppers. In prop payments and fast 1-5 sec blocks only big miners receives payments. May be 90% from top 15.

In 27902 and 27903 most of miners recieved 0. But the pool luck is good mostly because of blocks like them.

120% luck for day is actually more than 200% for small miners.

In two words the luck in proportional pool with fast blocks is good for big boys, and bad and unfair for smal and regular mainers.
