161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Patterns in Baccarat? on: April 14, 2024, 12:17:33 PM
Baccarat is one of the popular live games now in the Philippines since it’s the original version of our local game lucky 9.

I saw many streamers that using betting pattern on this but I don’t see the logic how they decide to change bet from banker to dealer and vice versa by just relying only on the bet history. Baccarat is a game of pure luck so I don’t comprehend how they come any strategy on this game.

Am I missing something strategy which is almost similar to card counting of blackjack?

While there is a category of gamblers that employ patterns and trends in their betting approach to Baccarat, they are often called 'betting system' followers. Such systems are based on the patterns or trends found in the history of betting on the game. These bettors may keep track of previous bet results and try to find some particular regularities or repetitions among them. Then they use these patterns as a basis for making their wagers.

This is what I’m looking for. I’m kinda confused why they are using previous bet pattern like a technical analysis on trading while it’s not even related to the actual condition of cards on the deck.

Quote
Nevertheless, bear in mind that all strategies have an element of risk attached to them because every spin is a single outcome. Even if a player has been successful in following a certain betting pattern for some time, it does not mean that the pattern will always be successful. Whereas some gambling games are based on prediction like card counting in Blackjack, Baccarat doesn’t fall under this category. In the game of Blackjack, one of the strategies is counting cards where players keep tabs on all the cards that are played from the deck to predict what card will be dealt next. Conversely, every hand in Baccarat does not depend on the result of previous games; hence, there is no way one can anticipate the following outcome based on what cards have been played.

Don’t worry, I’m well aware on the risk and I’m planning to play this game because I don’t see any way to efficiently way this game using a strategy while the payout is a little bit low than 2.0 despite the game is close to 50% win rate chance.

I’m only bewildered how streamers in my country play this game as if they are sure on the results.
162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 13, 2024, 02:14:15 PM

But, what if 100 people bet 1000 teams each? That would mean 100000 times played, suddenly hitting a 10000x return becomes very normal, even inevitable right? That's why it is so important and it is very crucial without a doubt. I personally believe that the best thing to do would be focusing on how we could realize that's not going to happen to us, or even if there is a chance, it would be very tiny chance for sure.

Having a 10,000 bets frequently doesn’t give you an assurance that you will hit the x10,000 multiplier because there’s a house edge on every game including Plinko. This is why the RTP is important when we are talking about huge sum of bets because that’s the time which the RTP already matters.

I’m not sure what’s the RTP of Duelbits Plinko but what I’m certain is you will need to bet more than 10K in able to win x10,000 multiplier frequently. So having a 100K bets doesn’t guarantee that you will hit 10 times the max win. You can hit more but hitting less is higher chance to occur due to house edge.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Legality and Myth of Card Counting in Blackjack on: April 13, 2024, 02:06:41 PM
How true is this or this a myth? If for instance card counting is legal in the UK but outlawed by casinos doesn't it makes it illegal?

There’s a mathematical evidence that card counting is effective for a regular card decks without a continuous shuffling feature in the casino since the number of cards is determined. Card counts involves counting both high cards and low cards that will give an idea to the possible remaining card on the deck and gives an edge to the players to increase their bet significantly.

Card counters rely on increasing their bets when they already have a better overview on what is the remaining card on the deck. It’s not a myth since it was proven and casino is aware on this strategy that’s why they are strict on monitoring it.

But right now, There’s no way to apply this method with the current rules of blackjack on casino.
164  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 13, 2024, 01:12:28 PM

One thing I wondered about Shuffle is, why don't they support 2fa?
I mean sure, when you log in they send you some 2fa code to your email but if someone's shuffle password is compromised and the "hacker" also has the password for the email account this security is basically useless.

It's much safer to use real 2fa via google, authy or what not.

Is there any long term plan to implement real 2fa? This would really improve the security for players in my opinion.

I just notice this too right now when I check my Shuffle account but they have feature to link google account or line account to easily access your casino without doing the need to login. You can setup 2FA on those 2 account available to link on your shuffle account.

But I agree that 2FA is now the basic security standard which casino should offer to add extra protection on user account in addition to the mandatory email code every login.
165  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: April 13, 2024, 12:23:37 PM

166  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 12, 2024, 03:12:35 PM

Reading on your previous post here makes me think that you didn’t understand carefully what the support said on his statement when he mention about the KYC. Your case is already concluded while providing KYC might give you a chnce re-open the case but that doesn’t mean it solved your care.

The user that you quote doesn’t comprehend well too the support message that probably encourages you to KYC and give false hope that you will recover your funds immediately. You should provide a thorough explanation why the 2 account is not connected. Maybe ask proof how you are connected then provide a valid argument.

I asked them and they just said the investigation is concluded and they can't give anything further.
So basically, all they have is that I tipped my friend $100 and they now believe the accounts are owned by the same person.
Even though we've both sent in KYC and we live in different countries, clown casino

If you use the casino perspective when looking on your case, it’s very hard to determine if you are telling the truth or not since you play games only which means there’s no physical proof that will help you to prove that you and the other account is different.

We all know that you can ask different person to the KYC on the other account which is why a case like this will not simply solved by KYC. Casino is probably holding an evidence related to your IP similarity, betting pattern, withdrawal/deposit and other factors that show similarities on your account.

Do they refund you the initial deposit? Sadly you can get more detailed explanation from the casino through Askgambler or Casino guru because they usually send evidence there once your issue escalated properly.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Patterns in Baccarat? on: April 12, 2024, 02:45:36 PM
Odds are very similar to dice, 50/50. I don't think there are patterns in general since it would be easy for long-time players to recognize them and take advantage. But even without a pattern, the chances are still way better than any gambling game. This being said, though, it can get more addicting. And then you'll notice that even if there are good odds, you're more leaning on losing than actually winning with your 50% chance.

What I’m describing on my post is about the different betting pattern which players of this game usually do. I’m not looking for a specific pattern on the game but rather the strategy (if there is) as guide on playing this game properly.

Quote
Added to the fact that, mostly by instinct, people tend to gamble more when they face losses.
Totally agree to this, I always notice this on my game probably the reason behind is we want to recover our losses which is why the more we lose means there’s a higher amount needed to recover therefore bet size increase respectively.
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: April 12, 2024, 02:40:53 PM
I think in betting, even after studying a lot of points, it is quite difficult to win, there are too many different small factors that are not visible on the surface. For example, the player’s internal state, his motivation, a sudden old injury that has opened up and does not allow the player to play at 100%. There are many such reasons, but professional sports bettors can still only come close to a slight edge in their favor. You need to carefully choose what to bet on and only on what you are practically sure of, I mean that this should not be a large number of matches, but only selective ones.

If you take me, I have a negative result on sports betting all the time, but I still do it occasionally because I like it, but I don’t consider myself a professional.

Aside from what you mention factors. The fact that gambling is pure random makes it very hard to win since there’s no strategy fitted to work on things that doesn’t contain any pattern at all.

Combine the randomness of gambling to people being greedy makes it impossible to win in the long run because even if the user manage to win they will still come back to play more hoping to get more profit until they suffer losses since gambling is pure random and you will just become breakeven your previous profit and potentially add up more losses.

After 2 months , finally one of their departments answered to my request .
"Hello. Your request has been accepted by us for consideration.

Privacy Policy Officer (Data Protection Officer)"

Maybe it's the effect of bitcointalk forum Smiley

I doubt that this is really the case why they consider your request. They have tons of issue  here that still unresolved while they have a tainted reputation here which they don’t care to clean for so many years.

Probably your potential legal action makes them alarm and consider your request if you are not from Iran in reality. They sometimes do that to have a reason for seizing user funds. You can consider yourself lucky for recovering your funds from them. Withdraw it immediately.

They are well known bad casino and for sure they already receive a lot of reports and none of them proceed since the users realize that its hassle to file some report then file a case that's why we can still se them exist on different platforms.

They are well known bad casino here in the forum but the rest of the people that use this platform without Bitcointalk account still consider this casino as good casino due to their marketing strength.

Quote
It just bad that its hard for legal authorities to stop their operation since as of now they really do a massive campaigns by hiring famous individuals to promote their casino that's why its expected that we can see a lot more people will get scam by them. As for the case of OP its good if he get his money back on that casino since usually its hard for other gamblers to get their funds after they had been compromise on 1xbet.

Having an intercontinental legal action is very hard to achieve unless the amount involved is worthy the payment of lawyers and other hassle involved so most of the time players just accept their losses as easy path rather than chase the casino legally.

Let me be frank with you op. Your money is gone forever and holding out hope is completely pointless since 1xbet and 1xbit are notorious scam sites in the gambling world for sometime now.

They have robbed way bigger amounts than yours from gamblers and never returned them. The best thing that you can do is writing scam accusations against them in popular casino review sites.

It’s hard to believe but the OP manage to recover his funds on this casino based on his last post on this thread. He just forgot to update the OP and the title.

Cheesy

172  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 11, 2024, 08:15:47 AM

That's not entirely true. What the market needs is time to build real demand long enough to achieve sustainability. The team also needs time to build the casino, to make sure it's secure, and to offer the best casino experience possible. If the tokens were given in bulk for everyone to mere sell, then there is no time given to build both real real demand and real market sustainability.

Plus you said "price support". Are you suggesting that the team manipulate the price of SHFL? Ser, that would not be sustainable.

Setting up a price support is never considered as manipulation because the team is just providing liquidity to lessen the volatility of the token. Having a thick liquidity on exchange makes it lesser volatility whenever someone will sell their token. It’s actually a good move if they setup the buy back as price support instead of buying immediately on the market to show some strength on the orderbook.

Manipulation on trading is when the team announce a big news while they purchase earlier then dump their token when everyone is already buying. It’s controlling the price action in their favor while providing price support is just the way to strengthen the token valuation in the long run.
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You will lose more if you DCA without knowledge on: April 11, 2024, 08:09:18 AM
.
I am a little lost.
Isn't DCA a strategy to conveniently build up your Bitcoin assets at specific times that you have set for yourself? And that it doesn't matter whether the we are in a bull or bear market when you do it ?  In my estimation it isn't about building profits like you have written but about setting a personal Bitcoin holding target and reaching it. People have DCA-ed they way into the 1 Bitcoin club.

The only scenario which I think that DCA will result the same description as OP when he keep buying on fixed time frame while the price of Bitcoin is at peak since the price is too volatile that cause too frequent up and down.

Maybe he keeps buying at 70+K every week while the price go dip after he made the purchase for the week. He will not experience the benefits of his current DCA unless the price already breakout the current ATH to new ATH.

Patience is the key on DCA which the OP probably forgot or didn’t know.
174  Other / Meta / Re: Option to Allow / Restrict merits on the OP Posts on: April 11, 2024, 04:35:32 AM
In general, everyone will allow the OP post to be merited but there can be situations like if any admin or mod, posts a thread he does not need merits and therefore he may restrict the post to be merited, so people and/or the merit sources do not send merits to those posts and rather give merits to ordinary people.

Let me know your comments on this idea  Smiley

Since the idea here is to restrict  specific users on having merit, I think it’s more simple if the moderators account itself will be restricted to received merits especially theymos since he doesn’t send merit frequently while he can allocate himself sMerit he need one to share on users joining Bitcointalk events.

It’s impossible to apply this to regular member because all of us wants to receive merits because it’s the basis of our contribution here in the forum.

Some say they are two different companies but some people linked both are the same. They anyhow have been known to have scammed people so whether they are one or two different companies, they are both scams still.
They are two different casinos. 1xBit is the more notorious one of them. If you go to the forum's scam accusation sub, there are numerous threads with users complaining about different issues with 1xBit. It's never 1xBet. 1xBet is a fiat casino and sportsbook. It's a pretty well-known brand that spends a lot of money on advertisement. If you watch football, you might have noticed it's the official gambling partner of the Italian Serie A. You first see an ad and pop up of 1xBet before you can access the official league website. But like you said, they are connected. It's just that one is worse than the other.

I honestly thought that they are the same due to the previous discussion here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230966.0 about their connection due to shared address but I’m not sure if all the findings is enough to verify that they are the same.

My impression is 1xbet is their fiat version casino while 1xbit and other connected scam casino is their crypto casino branch. Anyway both of them has a record of scam so nothing will change if they are from one owner or not.

Some real action happened yesterday while testing Blackjack.fun live stream.
This was a hell of a stream in a few minutes of gameplay.
https://www.youtube.com/live/b5VseuyiUis?si=NtJtQdFosiJ8N6TR

Nice to see streamers doing manual spin instead of the casual bonus buy which most of streamers doing. Your stream is very genuine since most of your win is through a normal spin win and not a bonus buy.

I like how you won 790$ on a single spin on starlight princess 100. May I know why you bet huge amount on Pragmatic while you play safe on hacksaw game since you lower it down to 0.6$.

Congratulations with your huge win here.

Funnily enough my gf picked the number 24 (which was the 1 incorrect number) and the number we needed to win €85,000,000 was 23. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this experience sadly.

Can’t imagine the look on her face when she knew that her pick is the only one got weong to have a life changing jackpot. I usually become regretful and gloomy whenever my decision makes our life miserable with my partner.

I’m not familiar with your lottery system that “start”. Is that 2 number or something? What’s the purpose of that aside from the 6 number. It seems that your lottery format is a bit complicated because our lottery style usually only need 6 numbers or below to win the jackpot while the 5 number win is already a life changing amount.
