Hey, I was on vacation for a week. Just got back and saw your post. Id say go for it.

Haha I never took the gamble, stayed away from my gox acct as it tanked, I am amazed how Many people voted to take the chance, it made me think twice but my conservative nature got the best of me.

Good man!

only one thing is certain - he is very thick.

you cannot own an exchange steal 700k coins and get away with it. I simply don’t buy that theory.

He simply screwed it up. He allowed double spending, he warmed up his cold storage, he took no caution and he had no expertise.

- or maybe the FBI has played a part in it - that I can believe.

Why can he not get away with it? Have you seen his smug face?

FBI? More like NSA or Japanese government!

Ive seen his smug face - but that will not help him against the forces of the US and Japanese govt. if you are involved with the heist of 300mollion dollars and your identity is known, you are done for. besides - he could have got away with 100 million without being noticed. it wasnt him.

No one cares if he stole poor peoples money. If anything governments love this. The less money people have the more they will work like slaves and pay them more taxes. Also, I dont think they would mind the fact that this is bad for bitcoins image. You see governments as angels, they are anything but!

How could they possibly have lost 850,000 BTCs?  Huh

No cold wallet at all?

if it looks like an inside job, smells like an inside job and tastes like an inside job i guess it was an:

inside job.

it went on for a longer time. if it would have been an acute problem, mk would have been communicating with customers way more direct, authentic, shocked.

he knew it. maybe did it.

He done it 99.99%

There must be legal action against Mt. Gox!!!

If this guy and other insiders will not be prosecuted, it states clearly to the protagonists, that any other exchange or virtual currency business can do such scam again and again and again.

Based on what will they be prosecuted?

As I see it, its very difficult to see how the market will react. Id say that the market has absorbed the bad news over the past weeks and will not react to badly to the current news as it was pretty much expected. I do not see us going down much further. Best to wait to see. So hodl!

I'd say whoever wants to buy; do it now for there will be no other opportunity for you... and I'm very serious right now.

you and I were serious at 800, you and I were serious at 700 but I stopped there and started thinking more seriously, you kept being serious at 600,500,400, and you still didn't learn anything, but to be honest, best thing you can do if you are lost now is to Hold.  Wink

I can interpret what he/she said! Its a good time to buy because we are going to da moon!!

send me pictures from there  Cheesy

Check Wink

If not he is not directly involved I just have to say - how can Mark Karpelles remain so calm having lost so much money. What the fuck is in that coffee?

Ha ha lol

178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Karpeles and his accomplices steal 850,000 coins? on: February 28, 2014, 11:22:39 AM
C'mon, stop with the conspiracy theories. He lost the coins because he's an idiot. Plain and simple. Lack of even the most basic accounting by a company that didn't have the talent or expertise to be operating such a large enterprise.

One does not simply "LOSE" 850,000 bitcoins!
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 28, 2014, 11:11:41 AM
Do we know if they will hand him a tanto for seppuku now?

We can only hope. I never really understood that tradition until now.

Seppuku is for Samurai Warriors. Karpeles is a piglet! So no.
