Why should someone come to YOUR office & then wait for YOU to SELL bitcoin BEFORE they get paid for it?

You may try to read more attentively those messages you are trying to criticize. 1. Office is an option, also it has registered address and easily can be legally used if there will be any objectionable situation. Any public place is ok. As I said we prefer public places for small to mid amounts, and if you have an office - we will be more than happy to visit. 2. Customer receives cash before even sending coins, but need to wait 1 confirmation before getting final calculation. How many HUMAN BEINGS are running this business? It's IMPORTANT for someone to know before trying to sell you bitcoin. |

What safety guarantees can you offers sellers? I'm asking because there were stories on the Localbitcoins forum earlier this year about a group of persons inviting to trade at cafes in London and during the trade a Mickey Mouse incident ensued. One of the stories quoted from Localbitcoins:

I'm not saying you intend to do this but in light of this trend of assault-and-steal pattern of crimes, what guarantees can you provide assuring this will not happen? I notice you have a 3-week old LBC account, all the more reason to invite some form of guarantee or at least explain here how the transaction will take place.
Why not use an escrow provider here?

To earn trust we are acting like this during first meeting: - we meet in a public place in central London, we have a list of preferable places, but can meet anywhere you'd like if it's secure enough - we do a brief acquaintance and confirm initiation of the deal - we give you an approximate amount of cash you'll receive after exchange order on the market will settle BEFORE you send anything to our wallet. - after the first confirmation, we sell exactly the same amount you sent, using our own funds on the market to speed up the deal. As soon as order is executed we fix the rate and do final mutual settlements Basically there is two ways: 1. Use some escrow service 2. If you have no history with the peer and no references for him you have to decide yourself if it's secure and trustworthy enough to deal peer-to-peer. As a newbie you cannot boast that you are a legit seller on localbitcoins and have over 50+ trades with different people you have to back it off send us your local bitcoin account and prove that you own it, in our opinion you just want to screw us with your sweet words Even if OP prove that he control such account on localbitcoin, that is not fact that account haven't bought. Even if the account was not bought, there is no way to prove that this account was not deliberately used for trading for just account farming and use it to scam later on (happened with me personally when I lost my Neteller account and $635 when I trusted someone on localbitcoins with 100+ positive trade rep) |

I've been using Coinbase to buy Bitcoin and Bittrex to trade, but now would like to sell some and transfer to a UK bank account. I've looked into various options such as Uphold, LocalBitcoins, CoinsBank, and others, but when I look at reviews for these websites they are not good and don't appear to be 100% safe. Does anyone know a safe way to sell and transfer the funds back to a UK bank account?
