Humble Bundle inc. ignored EFF's stubbornness and dissing of Bitcoin and started accepting them, so has anyone contacted the EFF or are you just so positive in your optimism that they will follow Humble Bundle inc.'s example? Maybe you don't care. I really must stop my excitement for Humble Bundle inc. accepting Bitcoin cause this is not healthy for me. I must show my excitement in some way. Maybe closing my account is the only strong message I can give. I feel that Bitcoin has succeeded already. I don't really know what more there is? Sure a lot can be done but a great step was done with Humble Bundle inc. accepting BTC since yesterday. EFF if you are not accepting Bitcoin, still expect to get donations from me from Humble Bundle inc.

ZOMG, finally! I was one of the guys to send mail asking for BTC I was one of the people commenting on their blog about Bitcoin I tried to send them an email but my email got labeled as spam. That's why I posted on their blog what I wanted to say(+modifications). Thanks to everybody who pushed it! I think the collection of the Bitcoin community wishing for it to be accepted made it come true. Our demands were realized

Nicely done. I didn't realize mine craft had gone open source. How does it compare?
Redcrab's server info(mods enabled, and basic commands): http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=1705Minecraft has not gone opensource but celeron55(Perttu Ahola), a Finnish person started minetest and is trying to make it much more moddable than minecraft is. Many mods add functionality and the aim I think is for making it "minecraft-compatible" if that made any sense. If not I'm just uninformed, I'm just a newbie player. The image you quoted shows grondilu's lawn on redcrab's server(where I was allowed to build). The latest minetest 0.4.6 comes with almost nothing special and most servers like redcrab's come with lots of mods enabled. Redcrab though doesn't feature any mobs so no mobs will ever attack you there. One mod I didn't find was the Protection stone mod, a basic protection against griefers. Instead they let you choose 2 areas in total that you can protect with x,y,z coord to x,y,z coord which creates a box where everything is protected inside of it( redcrab's) If you just have to test minetest with mobs there are servers like Animal's server or the DP_Spanish server.

I see there's another service similar to this: http://bitcoin.travel/Some differences are that it uses Google Maps, and apparently there's a small fee for being listed. What do you think? Well, they can't be compared since Google Maps is not Google Data. Google Maps is not data. OpenStreetMap(OSM) on the other hand is data, so no real comparison can be made with Google Maps since Gmaps use either prerendered maps from their own private data store or they show satellite/aerial imagery. In simple practical terms your data is stored on bitcoin.travel but on coinmap.org your data gets stored on OpenStreetMap. CoinMap just shows places that have the tag payment:bitcoin=yes Any more questions? I would be glad to answer them

But have you thought about NOT starting a new business and instead asking and informing EXISTING sms services in Greece about Bitcoin and the benefits of accepting Bitcoin? If you are intent on creating this business, how's it going, any progress? ..or do you need more time and volunteers/professionals involved to make this business a reality?

Found it. Thx for everything!

If I play minetest for Bitcoins then I can earn them completely for free, plus it's open source! Connected to redcrab.suret.net 30401. Hope I'll find the house

In a MMO, hopefully decentralized version of Minecraft, one could condition every action of every player by a proof-of-work. There was even somebody who made a mod for minetest about Bitcoin: [Mod] Bitcoins [v2.1] [Bitcoins] http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?pid=87740I've tested it in minetest 0.4.6 and once I got to a depth of -1000 at least I started finding some bitcent blocks... Not that many bitcoiners who play minetest except DistroGeeks-MilesDyson? Version 0.4.6 is out. It's a very moddable free, libre open source game. You're losing out if you have not at least tried it!

Bravo to the one who mapped the lawyer Jay Cohen Attorney, working in Houston on Franklin st. stick, do you take the icons from somewhere which you use on the map? If you put them manually, maybe it would be nice if there was an icon for lawyers? It's more an aesthetical thing so maybe it's not that important Btw, I noticed only because they are writing about him in Business Insider at the moment: http://www.businessinsider.com/defense-lawyer-who-accepts-bitcoins-2013-5

I paid a little more and then this was done as you can see, quick link to osm map: http://osm.org/go/xbydaUMVE-This is what I wanted. That the surroundings are shown around Carena(which accepts BTC ) with buildings. The coastline looks a bit off but that's only because that in OpenStreetMap there's a huge latency until they render the changes in coastline data to be shown on the map. I added the correct position of Carena with the help of the owners so that part I managed myself There's more work that I've asked and that has been done by Andrew near the Cakes and Cups Bakery. I'll wait until it renders to show what was done there.

Bitcoin is a strange and evolving beast that doesn't make sense to a lot of people.
Yeah, to one of the main devs Adam it does not yet. He's like giving out the releases of minetest, announcing them or something. But I just recently found even minetest mods which even include Bitcoin art in the game . Like this one [Mod] Bitcoins [v2.1] [Bitcoins]Some people are also hosting minetest servers and they accept Bitcoin. Oops. May be old or no longer hosted...

I just found a user neko259 who accepts Bitcoin. I don't know the extent of contributions to minetest but has still a BTC address! In fact there are a huge number of references, mods and whatnot in the minetest forums!

Or at least for Minecraft?

Is there no marketplace website for Steam items/keys <-> BTC?
No. There are groups on Steam though. One is called Bitcoin traders. Another one I think is called Bitcoin. Maybe there are more?

Since you put it in the press forum section, can you tell me which famous news outlet published these "news"? I don't think this Adam Kosh person qualifies as Press , unless you mean that all people are press, cause then I'm press too
