161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Marketing for ICO and IEO on: January 05, 2020, 02:38:53 AM
Marketing between the two are different.
Marketing for ICO need to be so extra and reach out for bounty hunters, influencers and spend more in google and social media marketing.
while for IEO, if they are doing IEO in a known exchange, that's already marketing as a big exchange have millions of users that they can show their ads and announcement, and those people are outright interested in crypto investments.

Seems similar to me. You say ICOs need to look for bounty hunters and influencers? Well so do the IEOs! Just because they launch on Binance does not mean they do not need to do promotions. Imagine you see a token on Binance and you look it up and see nobody talking about it. No influencers. No news sites. No PR and not even bounty. I bet you most investors would choose to put their money on projects that people are talking about and written about.

Both are the same in that they will both do their own marketing and promotion strategies. That is part of a project. How would the project reach to the ears of potential investors if they are not promoting it? The only edge when IEO is involved is that there is an additional promotion done by the platform itself. They will present the future or current IEOs using their platform.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking For Brand Ambassador (Weekly Payment) on: January 04, 2020, 04:01:52 AM

Thank you for your quick response by the way.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: What is safe asset? And If USA dollar weakining what is Next Fiat? on: January 04, 2020, 03:41:37 AM
USA dollar weakining coz of war
So what is Next currency to use?
Its a euro?

And what is the safe asset?
I Think its not Gold and its not Property either

War is weakening the US dollar. That is one way of looking at it. The other way of looking at it is that it is strengthening the US dollar because the war that we are told about is in fact just a way for the US to gain more foothold in territories where there are resources to exploit on behalf of the US. War is not about principles or other abstract ideas but simply economic.

Safest assets include gold, diamonds, and other precious stones and metals and real estate properties.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 04, 2020, 03:22:13 AM
I agree, but I do thinks it’s okay to spend some as ling as you have made a good profit. Otherwise, there was no need to buy the Bitcoins to begin with. If you just hold all of them, then they dot do you any good.

Yes, that is the best thing to do with your Bitcoin. HODLing is encouraged if what you are about to do with your Bitcoin is to sell it for fiat or to trade them with altcoins. But if you intend to use it to buy the things that you want, then it is more advisable to just spend them. That would help Bitcoin more. The rest of your Bitcoins you will HODL.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the low to buy more Litecoins on: January 04, 2020, 02:47:20 AM
Litecoin dipped under $40 a few days ago, I am looking for prices under $30 to buy more.  I could buy maybe a couple hundred LTC, depending on the price.
to be honest, I don't think that Litecoin prices will really reach prices under $ 30 right now. if you ever get the situation and don't buy it, then you are wasting your chance. the thing that I think about is, the price of litecoin will also be affected by the increase in bitcoin if that happens, so I think when the pump occurs, the price of litecoin will be further from the price of $ 40. if you realize it, then buying at a price below $ 40 is a good opportunity.

Under $30 is already the extreme to me as well. I don't think it will go as low as that. That is why I am saying that if you really want to buy Litecoin at a cheap price, do so while the price is around $40. Waiting for the price to bend as low as $30 is missing the entire opportunity.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Aave/ETHLend - Decentralized Lending DApp - The Game Changer - All info Updated on: January 03, 2020, 04:22:58 AM

Now, tell me, how soon is your soon?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A book about success and failure in crypto. on: January 03, 2020, 03:57:35 AM
The problem with these types of books is that the one who writes about success should at least be successful himself in that field.

If you have already launched a successful coin, token or project in your resume then write about it from the perspective of experience and authority it means your book can be taken seriously.

What is your level of involvement in crypto?
I agree with you.. it is impossible for someone who has not been successful in the crypto world to give advice or learn about tips for success in the crypto world.  I strongly support the book you intend because it will definitely help other people who are not familiar with crypto to better know what cryptocurrency is.
You forget to consider the few main factors which can change your opinion. The crypto market is almost 11 years old and for becoming the pro-crypto expert it is not necessary to have 11 years of market experience. The first book in the trading I have read was the Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas and I doubt the Op will be able to write something like that.

We do not know. OP has not presented his resume yet. This member may be a newbie in this forum but he or she may be a long-time crypto observer and adopter. Nobody ignorant enough plans to write an entire book about the stuff he or she mentioned.
That is why the OP should prepare himself/herself before creating the topic, the criticism is expected. He opened this thread and disappeared, only OP has the answers to the discussed topic.

He/she has made only a single post here. This forum might not be his/her cup of tea. Or was he/she discouraged by the criticisms or questions thrown at him/her? We never know. Or who knows he/she might already be very busy right now doing research and starting writing his/her book.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [TRONDUEL.io] looking for promoters for a new GAMING platform - compensation on: January 03, 2020, 03:30:16 AM
@arwin100 You are making two successive replies. Please remove the other one.
I am not only taking into consideration the newbie account. I am also taking into consideration that the OP lacks basic information and that clarifying questions are answered with DM me when everyone can do away with that if the basic information are added to the OP.

Hey guys,

apologies for the lack of info. If you are interested, please send me a direct message and we can talk specifics.

Thank you!
Mace

I am not sure if other members here share this feeling with me but every time a newbie asks for promoters, partners, teammates, etc and then they only post very limited and even puzzling info, but when people asks for some additional information, they only respond with DM me here, contact me on Telegram, etc the deal sounds fishy or shady to me. Why don't you post everything on the OP instead and let us decide from it whether you are worth reaching out or not.

It's certainly wise to use a sense of caution when dealing with any new crypto related project, however, I'd like to point out that my project is not an ICO, not an investment, and certainly not a hyip. It's a fully decentralized gaming platform. I'll try to be a bit more transparent here on the forum moving forward. If you get a chance, please read the introduction post I left(the link on OP).

Thanks,
Mason

Thank you. A simple line in the OP such as the project is a fully decentralized gaming platform could have cleared some air right from the start.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fantom is the first project which will have Central Bank backing. on: January 03, 2020, 02:59:35 AM
I am more interested and curious on the implication of Fantom being backed by a central bank.

What happens to the independence of Fantom when it is the powerful central bank that is at its backbone? The central bank itself is not independent from the powerful control, authority, and manipulation of the government.

What is the degree of this backing? Is it only limited to approved or under regulation by the central bank?

Most probably it's a part of bank's regulation mate, and regarding the approval I think each person who's part of it needs to pass. Government will soon take control of it, and I don't see any good future for this project because financial independence of crypto will be abolished. Central bank and authority of government is powerful particular on law implementation towards tight regulation.

My question has been answered by OP quite sufficiently and clearly at the quoted post below. There must be a little misunderstanding on the connotation of the word backing. Anyway, thanks OP for clarifying.

I used the word backing but I think that might not be the best word to use. Fact is Fantom is Consensus as a service. Completely open source and decentralized. A client however can choose to use the consensus as they wish and that means they can  make it more centralized and run their nodes. Each implementation in that sense is seperate and runs on a different chain. XAR network is simply using Fantoms consensus to run a fiat Collaterized stablecoin. This is not some pilot scheme btw. It will be used by at least two of the top South African banks probably for their users to send fiat in an app kind of like say Venmo works.

Fantom has only launched its mainnet a week ago. The fact that it's already getting this kind of real usage is a testament to the quality of the tech. Its important to know Fantom is interobile and runs on erc20, binance chain and the native mainnet. Fantom created the bridge that Binance now uses.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMITY ICO --->Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange<--- on: January 03, 2020, 02:35:37 AM
Why those scammers that ban every investor in their groups dont list it on exchanges or coinmarketcap ??

Streamity has made it to coinmarketcap actually but I cannot see any specific data except a single-line description of what Streamity is.

In coingecko, you will see that Streamity (STM) is being traded in mercatox but the volume is really low.

The team has to address concerns such as this.

They said that the progress is really slow on this platform? Is there really progress going on behind this? They really do have volume in mercatox but I'm seeing a lot of sell as compared to buy.

Is there really something going on for this project? A real development on the works???

I suppose there is very little, if at all. So the orders must be representing the whole sentiment of the holders or owners of STM tokens. Little development means there is more dumping rather than buying. But at least they are still alive. There is a chance to recover if the development team will do something significant.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of various bounty rewards made for easy reference on: January 02, 2020, 03:10:46 AM
I want to make a simple summary and form for the blockchain project.
I intend to make a list of some content reviews and evaluation categories for easy reference and reference at any time.
The forms that have been produced now are (contents are gradually increased):
Airdrop project evaluation form: https://bountypr.com/airdropform
Long-term bounty program table: https://bountypr.com/longbounty

Plans to continue to produce: micro-reward lists such as taps, bounty service tables, etc.

What suggestions do the forum partners have and what forms need to be made? Please leave a message. Or you have a good content submission, you can click the submit link above the form to submit the content to us.

Because it is a Chinese site, I use Chinese and English bilingual form content, also added GOOGLE translation, welcome everyone to browse and give us better suggestions.

You need to deepen and widen your research. There are possibly more than 10,000 cryptocurrency projects already. Many are dead of course. Others are still alive and are offering products that are functioning properly. I need not mention those projects. Everyone can easily take a look at the CMC and know that the top coins there are the ones that have made success. Outside the five thousand coins and tokens in CMC, there are also other unlisted coins by the thousands.

There are too many projects, but for the time being, the list can only list the latest, airdrop bounty projects that can participate.
I think most of the past project information can be queried through coinmarketcap. My energy and time can only sort out as many new bounty projects as possible.
If you can help me with more information, thank you very much

That is not a bad start. Coinmarketcap is a great source because it has more or less complete information. It includes the projects' overview, website, etc. But you need to be aware that if you are giving priority to the latest airdrop and bounty projects, the possibility is that they are not yet listed on coinmarketcap. Coinmarketcap will only list those projects that have already made it to the exchanges and have already achieved certain volume.

Yes, I mainly focus on the bounty activities of airdrop projects and related content

One final question from me on this topic.

What makes you so interested with bounty activities and airdrops? Let me share you my observation. More than 90% of them are already dead or will be dead soon. I am referring not just to the value of their coin but also their volume, marketcap, roadmap, development, product. In other words, their whole project.

177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: January 01, 2020, 04:06:29 AM
Before you begin read, I am not an expert nor am I here to turn anyone into professional. So the basic aim is to just add some sense that I was lacking when I started my trading career.

So for traders, all I say is follow these tips https://www.latinpost.com/articles/142690/20191123/tips-for-the-perfect-day-trading-strategy.htm, as I said these are some things that I was missing heavily in early phase of my career, so I hope youngsters can learn from it.
This is just the right advice for beginners in this market, if you want to become a professional trader, you will need more knowledge like that. You need to have a lot of knowledge about the bull and bear markets, analyze the charts and the impact of the news....
But it is a great article anyway and it will help many newcomers to this market

This topic is always in the list, but here's the most important thing, we share all our thoughts to help our fellow traders. No matter if you're professional or beginner but you always need to secure your money. Experience is essential and in order to achieve those experience, you need to practice and apply what you've learned. Maybe you'll learn some of aspects as you trade and trade. No matter if you succeed or fail, the important thing is you learned.

What about, observing your records in the trades? In that way, you can analyze your mistakes and plan on how you will execute the next trades. Planning your next strategies will help you to correct your mistakes in order for you to earn more profit rather than losing. Organizing your thoughts and good decision making is good for your trading.

That is one thing. It is another that Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market are unpredictable and move very quickly in directions we cannot really determine. I bet there are also a number of traders out there who have made a nice record of their previous trades, analysis of their strategies and techniques, assessment of their trading tools, etc but still ended up losing instead making profit. This is normal in a wild wild west market.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I made +500% for 2019 on BitMex. Ask me anything on: January 01, 2020, 03:39:56 AM
Hi guys!

I  made +500% for 2019 on Bitmex ask me about trading in this thread Smiley

I should have asked you something like how did you make it. Or what tool are you particularly using in your trade. I should have also asked you about your approach on Bitmex leverage trading. But it seems all the posts here are supposed to be asking a different question. I think I should also ask you instead about your credibility rather than on the topic you brought up.
