161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: August 20, 2018, 10:30:24 AM
I think that bitcoin is the best long term hold coin, so fair it has proven to be the best long term hold coin that anyone could ask for. You make it with coins like bitcoin because there are always a lot of people in the coin willing to make sure that the coin ends up doing good. Also there is the fact that the coin already has the most exposure and most newbies coming in to the market are more likely to invest in the coin.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: August 18, 2018, 12:24:04 PM
I don't think that forgetting is the right thing to do here, since forgetting is something that we should not do. When we remember what we have done in the past it helps us to avoid making the same mistake over and over again and to make better choices. What I would say is stop feeling sorry for yourself over what happened in the past and look to the future while making better moves to ensure that you come out with better results.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain change financial industry? on: August 18, 2018, 12:17:52 PM
I think that the blockchain technology has already changed the financial industry as a lot of financial institutions are already looking into integrating the technology into their systems for faster and more efficient transactions. It is revolutionary and it is only a matter of time before the rest of the world catches up and realizes how important the blockchain technology is.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: August 17, 2018, 12:49:30 PM
I don't believe that there is any other coin like bitcoin try as they might. All of the coins that we have in the market are unique in their own ways and I don't think that there is any two coins that are alike. If you are looking for a coin that closely resembles what bitcoin was in the beginning stages though then I would point you to monero, the privacy coin that seems to be working in the steps of bitcoin but modifying it in their own way.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope? Can we still make a bigger profit from altcoins this year? on: August 17, 2018, 12:40:54 PM
I don't think that there is any way that we are going to end up making a bigger profit from altcoins this year, the best that we can hope for is for the coins to hold up at a good price during the bear market that we are currently in right now. unless there is some sort of massive pump like the one that we had in january, making money from altcoins this year is not going to be an option.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening with ETH? on: August 16, 2018, 10:20:27 AM
No one knows. The downward spiral is surprising to say the least. Given the fact that ethereum is the close that most closely follows the price of bitcoin but it is not happening, this has led me to believe that ethereum is being manipulated by some big players to bring the price of the coin down enough so they can buy into the coin at really close price. This is the problem with cryptos, they are way too easily manipulated.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 16, 2018, 10:15:44 AM
I think that it is. If you look at most of the ICOs out now they are build on the ethereum network and they also make their prices based on ethereum. Without ethereum then so many of the coins that we know today would not exist. It is not all good though as ethereum has given everyone a chance to make their own token and some people have used it to make scam coins to scam others.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: August 15, 2018, 01:14:08 PM
The best way for you to make money for free in the cryptocurrency market would be for you to join bounty campaigns, it is the best way to get the most amount of free coins as bounty campaigns pay out more money than they do for airdrops. Also you can work online, list your services and asked to be paid in cryptos. You can also write articles online, that is a good way to make money.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC + all your official papers being stolen and traded on: August 15, 2018, 01:04:52 PM
I do not understand how people cannot see that the information that they are giving to the new projects all in the name of kyc are being sold to the highest bidder on the dark net after the project crashes and burn. People should learn to be more careful when they are giving out their information because kyc does not mean that a project will end up doing well in the long run.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin still a good investment? on: August 14, 2018, 12:09:23 PM
I think that it is still a good investment but the thing is that with coins like litecoin when you buy them it can take you a while to make profit from the coins. That's why you should only buy the coins as a long term investment and not as a short term investment. There is a lot of money to make from investing in a coin like litecoin but you would have to buy very cheap and wait a long time for the price to go back up.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: August 14, 2018, 12:03:48 PM
All of the coins are struggling at this time not just ethereum but it does seem like ethereum is taking more of a hit than all of the other altcoins in the market right now. If you look at the charts the price of ethereum is falling at an incredibly rapid rate compared to the way bitcoins and the other altcoins are falling. Even in the last recovery of bitcoin ethereum did not follow well.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam. on: August 13, 2018, 10:59:52 AM
The best way that I have found to avoid scam icos is to look at the team behind it. The projects that have team members that are very transparent with what they are doing and what they are working on are always the best ones to put your money into. Then there are the ones that have a really viable product that can be used by people, those are the good icos to put your money in.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to invest? on: August 13, 2018, 10:54:27 AM
If you want to invest then you should first ask yourself if you want to invest for the long term or for the short term. If you are investing for the short term then what you should be looking at is the icos to invest in them but if you are investing for the long term then you should be looking to invest in bitcoin and altcoins like litecoin and ethereum which you can hodl for profit for the long term.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to learn day trading? on: August 11, 2018, 08:49:55 PM
Google will be your best friend when it comes to learning something new. Also there are a lot of traders who sell ebooks of their experiences in the crypto trading market and the techniques and skills that has helped them through it.  There are also a lot of sites that offer demo trading accounts for you to get the hang of it so you could try that too.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is dead. Prove me wrong. (DIECI destroys ETH) on: August 11, 2018, 08:36:24 PM
Nobody knows what project you are talking about, let's be honest you are just using the name of ethereum to get some cheap publicity for the coin that you are talking about now. I wouldn't be surprised if at the end the coin turns out to be another scam coin. Many have tried but there is no other coin that has been able to remove ethereum so I would love to see you try.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoins going to rock in this year ! on: August 10, 2018, 11:49:27 AM
Actually no. Have you looked at the charts? The altcoins are struggling. Even when bitcoin was in a recovery a couple of weeks back none of the altcoins seem to follow the trend, they are not doing well because way too many people are dumping their altcoins and getting out. This has really being a bad year so far for altcoins, let's just hope that next year is better for them.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: August 10, 2018, 11:42:45 AM
Mostly you first have to provide them with a suitable wallet they ask for when you are signing up for the bounty campaign. After everything is done, the stakes that you have gathered through out the duration of the bounty is then calculated to give a good number of coins that you have earned. Once the distribution starts, the coins are paid into your wallet.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue but how much patience do you have? on: August 09, 2018, 12:00:28 PM
I guess that this is the time for us to really test how much patience we have since we have now entered fully into the bear market. For me I think I have developed quite a thick skin in the market due to this not being my first bear market but sometimes when it gets too much, I just close my wallets, secure them and log out of the market for a few days to clear my head.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: August 09, 2018, 11:54:16 AM
I think a lot of us made this mistake when we first started out, never knowing the right time to sell which means that we were always missing the best opportunity and selling at all of the wrong times. The best thing that we can do is to learn from the mistakes that we have made in the beginning and hope others can learn from it too. Patience is key.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: August 08, 2018, 11:55:43 AM
The reason for this is that people are greedy and they have found out that there is a lot of money to be made from owning cryptocurrencies so they want their own cryptocurrencies but the problem is that the cryptocurrencies that they are making now are useless and scams. They just end up taking money from unsuspecting investors and removing more money from the market.
