Actually if you already laminated the private key, you can put it into a capsule, and drop it into a lake, but make sure it's anchored to the ground to not get carried away with the current. Then come back years later and hope that it will be still there. Or you can bury it in the forest. True. Sometimes we've got be relevant. Writing posts that do not sound normal makes us look stupid. As the provabial saying goes 'don't keep al eggs in one basket', I prefer keeping bitcoins in different forms. A desktop wallet seems safer for me, an online wallet for easy transactions and different exchanges just in case I need some fiat.
