It's Simple, Giving a free "Satoshi's" to anyone who is interested. I prefer you to be newer people just trying to get started in bitcoin, but I'm not going to kill you if your not.

Choose a Number between 1 and 30 (See available numbers in Following Post) Once all 30 numbers are chosen (1 number per person please)
This topic is self moderated so I will not tolerate crap replies.

If you happen to have a few extra satoshi's and want to add to the charity (Will be giving this away in  increments send to 1GtKyqP49X3oyFEuZ4619YjSYQ8vsjTrqR)

Once all 20 numbers are chosen I will use Random.org number generator twice. The First one will decide the number of Satoshi's you win(See pot Below). The Second will choose the winners number and who ever wins wins. I will screenleap it as well.

Current Pot Possible: 40,000 Satoshi
-------------------------------------
Past Winners:
Name      TxId                                                                           Lucky #
Sir Lagsalot   https://blockchain.infoaddress/18j7VDYhePaYCqUmSo8JgjpybpsgvJwfdb   14
Blobzorz          Awaiting Address                                                                                            13
It's Time for Round 3
40k Satoshi's up for grabs Choose your number now.

PLEASE NOTE: your number isn't automatically asigned to you if you have played before, you must choose your number again

Has Coinad been abandoned? The chat is full of spam w@nkers and I've had a payment pending for about a week. It's always been pretty prompt in the past.

Hmm... I tried the 'Release delayed payments' button under the payments sections of my profile and it didn't seem to change anything. I still have payments showing as pending.  I will see if anything changes in 24 hrs or so.

Thanks for pointing this out.
I see similar

173  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Price Image Generator on: April 28, 2013, 05:51:08 AM
Any Chance you could make one similar but for the popular alt coins, I would definitely give you a nice tip for that Cheesy

I'll gladly do that. All I need is an API to get exchange rates. Got a link?
https://btc-e.com/api/documentation

Ok, done! I added it at a separate URL (advimg). It accepts arguments as a GET request. Please test!

Explanation is on the main page: http://fizzisist.com/priceimg
A tip is headed your way fine dir, I thank you
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What about mining with 7 gpu's with a damn rig? on: April 27, 2013, 02:55:32 PM
Word.

http://mark.zoomcities.com/images/gfx/GFXpowerchartbybrandgen.png

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2010/12/16/ati-radeon-hd-6950-review/10

Less power consumption 6950 and 5850, than 7***. There will be a bit more heat, but there are solutions for that.

7* has probably been done before. Here is topic about 6*:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=142241.0

BIOS over clocking, yeah.

I might just buy the motherboard I linked, but start with 5 gpu.

Less than 1k is a small budget, i think.

PSU:

1500 W should be more than enough and there are such devices.

Putting all together is that worries me : D

EDIT: thanks for the answers btw.

Just a note you could always build them in sets of 3 and have them mine to one machine(If pool mining put your credentials in all of them, if solo mining have a host computer with your coins dameon on it and set it to mine to your ip address) May be more expensive but as for heat, effectiveness(7xcards are a lot more likely to crash than 3) and difficulty it would be optimal

178  Economy / Auctions / Ad Space [no reserve] on: April 27, 2013, 07:07:26 AM
I am in the process of creating a bitcoin give away site, to help new comers get some satoshis in their wallets. Of course it will require add space.

I am selling 10 add spots at this time for auction with no reserve. Since I have no working product I will not require payment until launch of site. But I will say all bids are final. If you post here and bid I ask that you do not retract bid. If financial difficulties arise a pm explaining this will suffice.

So add space is as follows
5*160x600
5*728x90

Bids in the form of
Code:
3*160 @.01
Refers to 3 ad spaces of the size 160x600 for a total of .03 btc NOT .01 btc total

Will try to keep bid leaders up to date.

Auction ends in 24 hours ish
10 o clock est Monday
