161  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Mores Funds Available - Wanted Borrowers! on: November 16, 2023, 03:45:47 AM

Error
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disadvantage of bitcoin on: November 16, 2023, 02:58:49 AM
Now my question is, do you think losing all of one’s coins simply because they didn’t have access to their wallet or key is already enough disadvantage for bitcoin against the local banks ?

It is important for Bitcoin holders to understand that the Bitcoin system is not at fault if they lose access to their Bitcoin wallet. Instead, the responsibility rests solely with the owner of the Bitcoins. It is crucial to take all necessary precautions to safeguard access to Bitcoins, such as storing them in a secure wallet and keeping private keys safe. While it is true that losing access to Bitcoins can be a frustrating experience, it is not a disadvantage to Bitcoin.
164  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Mores Funds Available - Wanted Borrowers! on: November 16, 2023, 02:09:11 AM
Up for this thread, baka may gustong mag pautang pa dito para matulungan natin mga kababayan natin.

Pero pwede naman kahit altcoins, depende nalang sa agreement, pero as much as possible make it public here para may evidence tayo in case magkalokohan.

165  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Client Executives Kidnapped, Forced to Empty Crypto Wallets on: November 15, 2023, 06:12:32 PM
The thief/kidnapper obviously done research, found wealthy people, formed a relationship, invited them somewhere.. the victims know details of the perpetrator. im sure the thief is being chased if not already arrested

Despite the thiefs efforts in selecting their target for kidnapping, they seem to have lacked the necessary knowledge to transfer the illegal funds effectively in the crypto space. But it is encouraging to know that some of the funds have already been frozen, which is a result of the authorities' swift action. Is the victim already safe?

167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Thought of Giving Back to the Community? on: November 15, 2023, 05:13:24 PM
Whenever I gamble at the casino or play online, I never think about giving back to the community. My primary aim is not to win big but to enjoy the game and, if I am lucky, win a small amount that uplifts my mood and improves my day. Playing in the casino is a great way to unwind and take a break from the daily grind. However, suppose I win a significant amount of money, like hundreds of millions in my local currency or dollars through the lottery. In that case, I might consider making a charitable contribution to the community.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Casinos with Online and Offline version, Are they the same? on: November 15, 2023, 04:31:10 PM
You may experience confusion when encountering two similar website names with different domains. This is because some scammers may create websites with names similar to reputable ones with the intention of gaining users trust. They then use this trust to trick users into depositing their money onto their platforms. It is important to exercise caution and double-check the website's authenticity before making any financial transactions.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 15, 2023, 04:07:59 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
Example: Cz. Craig wright & Michel Sailor etc.
He is right but why haven't the people with a lot of bitcoin sold any? Some continue to accumulate even with a significant amount.

When it comes to bitcoin investment its important to understand that not everyone might feel comfortable investing in it. If you have a friend who is hesitant to invest in bitcoin, its best to approach the topic with an understanding attitude and provide them with as much information as possible about bitcoin and its potential risks and benefits. The decision to invest in bitcoin must be left to the individual. Its not necessary to force anyone to invest in something they're not comfortable with.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not all educated are educated. on: November 15, 2023, 03:56:38 PM
Mixers are seen to be used for illegal activities but the money in banks are not seeing to be used for money laundering and terrorism financing. Among the most fiats used for illegal activities, only little do the government and regulators know about. If there is no bitcoin or other coins and tokens, there will be illegal activities both online and offline and their scam fiat will be used for it.
Bitcoin often faces criticism from people who hold positions where they have to scrutinize it. They try to find flaws with Bitcoin in order to discredit it in public opinion, or even within their own country. They are afraid of Bitcoin precisely because it is difficult to trace, unlike money in banks.

I believe that both of you have valid points. This is why countries are trying to shed light on Bitcoin in order to reduce illegal transactions and have the ability to track such activities in fiat. It will be difficult for them to successfully illuminate or ban Bitcoin. Good luck to them!
171  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: November 14, 2023, 02:58:39 PM
What are your thoughts regarding the statement by Elon, do you think we should take him seriously?

Its crucial that we take seriously the warnings of individuals who understand the potential dangers of artificial intelligence and recognize the harm that could be caused if most people are without jobs. Although currently only a limited number of jobs have been affected, we must acknowledge the possibility that even highly skilled professionals may eventually become replaceable by AI. How can people earn a living when AI does most of the work?
172  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Does Food Cost in Your Country? on: November 14, 2023, 01:48:25 PM
The minimum wage for non-agricultural workers in Metro Manila is approximately 10.89 USD, while for agricultural workers, it is around 10.23 USD. Specific jobs in some areas provide wages that are too low. Despite the difficulty in finding a job nowadays, there are still occupations that only pay around P300-P400, equivalent to 5.36-7.14 USD or even lower. If you dine at a fast food chain, a simple meal would cost you about 150 pesos or approximately 2.68 USD. However, when eating at a small business restaurant called "Karinderya," you can enjoy a dish on top of rice called "ambula" for only around 50 pesos or roughly 0.89 USD. In Metro Manila, many people rent a room for 5,000 pesos per month, which may or may not include electricity and water expenses if it's a condo unit of 18,000-20,000, around 321.94-357.71 USD. Some people share a room and split the rent with a roommate.
173  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nirerecomend Mo Ba Ang Article Na Ito Sa Mga Baguhan Sa Bitcoin on: November 14, 2023, 01:07:44 PM
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 14, 2023, 12:28:30 PM
Obtaining a large amount of capital can be a difficult task particularly when you are in debt to your siblings and find it challenging to refuse when they ask for financial assistance. This is a challenge that we all face. We can see the opportunities in front of us but the only thing standing in the way of achieving our goals is a lack of capital. Even if we do manage to obtain the necessary funds we may still question whether these opportunities are truly viable when we have the capital.

Its important to allocate a designated amount of money each month for your relatives based on their basic needs. Stick to this amount until they understand that it's the maximum amount you can give for now until you have saved enough capital. This will help you manage your finances better while still supporting your loved ones.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 14, 2023, 12:10:15 PM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

Its difficult to guarantee a definitive answer to your question. Even if you conduct a survey on this forum or any other platform, its not guaranteed that you will receive an accurate answer because some investors might prefer to keep their privacy and choose not to answer. We can make assumptions, but ultimately they may not be relevant.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your parent disinherit you eventhough you have not proven to be chronic gambler on: November 14, 2023, 12:00:45 PM
What's your take on this and what do your country's laws say about this?

To be honest. Im not sure what to do. Even though I consider myself a responsible gambler, I think I should take a break from it and try to appeal to the court. Alternatively I could speak with my parents about it and try to come to an agreement that works for everyone involved.

178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use bitcoin when gambling? on: November 12, 2023, 08:58:52 AM
I used to enjoy gambling with Bitcoin but the transaction fees have become too expensive, and the processing times are too long. It can be frustrating when we don't have enough time to wait, and the amount of Bitcoin we transfer is not significant enough to justify the cost. So Im currently using fiat money since it's faster than bitcoin.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins do ordinary people have? on: November 12, 2023, 08:35:09 AM
Would it be a satisfactory quantity if I had 0.1?
Whether or not you feel content with this amount depends entirely on your perspective.

At the moment, I don't possess a satisfactory amount of Bitcoin from my perspective, which would be 1 Bitcoin, but I have a strong desire to acquire it soon. As soon as I accumulate enough funds, I will make the purchase and add it to my wallet. I will feel satisfied and secure once I have this goal amount of Bitcoin.

180  Local / Pilipinas / Re: “CrypTalk: University Caravan” on: November 12, 2023, 04:23:42 AM

IN GOOD FAITH" talaga to instead there is a Motive inside this effort.

At big thumbs up ako sakanya sa ganito niyang ginagawa.
