161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: June 04, 2019, 10:22:24 AM
We do not need so many exchanges  we just need enough for the assurance of stability of supply of a certain coin ,enough to make sure that the price of a certain coin do not turn to an instant shit or dead coin.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will Boom ! on: May 22, 2019, 07:28:09 AM
According to announcement of chain link, the decentralized oracle provider will launch on the Ethereum mainnet on May 30th.

And other side market cap is also $25.80 billion, which good thing.
So I think price will go up for surely.

Guy's,  what do you think about this ?

I have no doubt about ethereum going to boom again, actually it already started
Even without the news,  Ethereum has a big community supporting this project
Im kinda excited for the Ethereum 2.0
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with greed whilst trading? on: May 21, 2019, 08:42:01 AM
Hello!

I'm doing alright trading, learning.
However - I spotted myself being very greedy earlier. I wanted a bigger position as I was confident of the direction of the market..
So I entered in at a lower spot, with a higher position - lowering my entry quite significantly.
I've actually done this twice in two days.

How do you deal with this particular emotion in trading?
I'm trying to be as mindful as possible - but i get really excited.. and start getting reckless.

I think I need to read some more books on trading psychology.
TG

i confess its hard to battle with greediness but its more harder to deal with profits turned into losses
thats what i keep on saying to my brain literally everytime greediness attacks me
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: May 20, 2019, 01:14:11 PM
LTC is stuck to lite version of Bitcoin motto. Ethereum is being actively refined and updated and Ethereum is the prime fuel for ICOs.
Both coins are great and still profitable. But I believe Ethereum would be more beneficial than Litecoin in the long run.

I will also choose ethereum over litecoin,The project of ethereum is still on the go While litecoin is being dump by the dev
Although both have a big community and investors
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you are regretting not encashing read this ' on: May 19, 2019, 03:02:03 PM
Hey everyone I know it's hard to actually just sit and wait for the price to go up and when you are at this phase , there is this very difficult decision to make and that is

* Either keep the Currency or encash *

Right now the price sipked suddenly that was a rare case scenario and something that gave us good signals after a pretty long time (2017 ) , unfortunately after the bull run continued for over a week , price suddenly declined.
It reached way closer to 6k $
But now again we are at 7k $ approx .

The reason of price decline is still unclear but it was hinted that in Germany some major people are against this Currency and actually wanted to ban it.
Since Germany is situated in Europe , many European countries might get influenced and think about adding to their decision.
But nothing was decided and Bitcoins somehow attained a stable state of 7k $

Now if you are feeling sad about not encashing there here are some points for you to feel good about :-

Major companies are hinting a bull run in near future starting from 22 May

The average price of Bitcoins is still higher than the past one therefore it's amazing how it has gained that much weight after all this , therefore a spike is inevitable.

Major exchanges are predicting price as high as 20k $ or even higher , I don't believe in such weird had to achieve assumptions but all we can think of is , even if it does 50% of this , it's going to be fine.

Kudos to everyone who is still holding , trust me when it rises up you guys are going to be proud of the fact that you didn't encashed and stayed put.

This is how a trader should be * Patient * .

Thank you for this insight ,i do admit i fail to encash last 2017 so my folio crashed when the market dump last 2018
Im really conscious with the market right now
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: May 19, 2019, 12:34:20 PM
From the bearish market it seema that there are individuals who were benefited with cryptocurrency and taken it as an early christmas gift for them. Probably those who control the market are mostly likely to be the direct benefactors of bear market. What do you think and who do you think control the market of cryprocurrency?

Those who invested in bitcoin or any altcoin
Are the obvious benefactor of the current bull market movement
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 18, 2019, 01:53:40 PM
Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

its quite enviting to join airdrops because it gives free money when its already available in an exchange
i think even the price goes down its not an issue coz you didnt invest any amount its just free
when it come to doing KYC it really depends on you

hopefully Senator Manny Pacquiao will soon be vocal about crypto dito sa ating bansa
when gcox sponsored a beauty pageant held here in the country ,nasabi ni Pacman sa isang interview about his support sa project ng GCOX and i believe he will soon have his own coin as well
so lets hope for the best
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 17, 2019, 04:04:13 PM
Bitcoin pumps will definitely attract newbies which could be easy targets for scammers. That is why we need to check for red flags before investing our money. Investment frauds usually come with promises of return that are too good to be true. People should be more responsible with their investments and conduct a thorough research first before diving in.

Thats true newbies are really the target of this scammers,  some of the new investors getting into crypto lack of proper knowledge
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull or bull trap on: May 16, 2019, 02:45:52 PM
I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year

it seems like everybody is on guard with the market movement now
lets just manage the risk i guess 50% on crypto then convert 50% usdt
in the end of the day what matters most is what you get than what you supposed to get more
having such mindset will make you loose your profit worst even your capital
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 16, 2019, 01:43:42 PM
The whole thing is very complex for starters but it becomes very user friendly as you grow in it. But one has to be computer literate and that is the problem for many

yes i agree its kinda overwhelming at first for beginners specially introducing them to some exchangers
and seeing those numbers normally makes their mind confused and creates a  retreat impression
but only those eager to learn will come to realize how user friendly it is when you get used to the environment
173  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Usapang Trading on: May 15, 2019, 03:48:40 PM
Hello OP alam ko meron topic dito sa local board regarding some trading techniques and strategy which is a good one to read since mag iistart kapalang ulit mag trade alam ko si ximply ang thread starter, regarding naman sa exchange site the best parin talaga ang binance platform which is a lot of altcoin to trade. I suggest to hold mumuna ang bitcoin mu kasi pataas ana ito and road to $7000 na tayo sana tuloy tuloy na.

Well, I'm not looking for strategies, and I'm not interested on holding bitcoins for now, I'm eager to buy altcoins which has a low value before the bullrun starts. I only have 15,000 Php as of the meantime and still looking for cheap bitcoins so I can trade it with alts.

hi paps you can try researching about apollo blockchain and might want to consider to buy some
tutal low value pa ang hanap mo ,mababa pa sya now.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: May 15, 2019, 03:27:56 PM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.

there should be no versus between doing bounty and trading
they are connected in a sense when joining bounty you have to trade them
,when it is already launched right
both are profitable i shall never quit in both trading and doing bounties
175  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: May 15, 2019, 02:45:08 PM
I'm just reading an article in the newspaper. Klaus W. Wellershoff (a last chief in UBS Bank) says that's impossible to use a currency with volatility as money. If the value of the money decrease, that means the value of the merchandise decrease. For example : if you buy a flat with bitcoin and few years later the bitcoin value decrease... Your flat lose his value as well.

What do you think about this argument?
i agree to the articles point regarding this argument ,but it will depend on the mindset and understanding of the receiver of bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies  in exchange to his service or products or property i guess
i am glad that cryptocurrency doesnt have the stability of fiat currency
then there will not be something special  about holding bitcoin or altcoins

176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you like to see Bitcoin accepted? on: May 13, 2019, 03:12:16 PM
In addition to the anonymous VPN, web hosting and filesharing providers mentioned before, it would be cool if some IT freelancer sites, many of which offer an escrow service, accepted BTC. Any other cool ideas?

to a mom like me  i would love to see bitcoin being accepted in arcades and food chains such as mcdonalds and kfc, so my children could or other kids be introduced to it
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: May 11, 2019, 04:09:55 PM
its kinda awkward to use stable to a very volatile market
its just bitcoin had been down for a quite a while so i guess its time to go up now

The overall sentiment of the market is very positive that even the Binance hack failed to affect its upward trajectory.

i also think na we are in the middle of market separation slowly switching bear to bull
hinihintay ko na lang ay ang pagsabay ng price ang altcoins sa pagtaas din ng price ni bitcoin
when it happens it surely is bullrun
179  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: May 10, 2019, 04:01:54 PM

180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 10, 2019, 02:18:57 PM
I was perusing another forum today with a long running cryptcurrency thread. To my non amazement they're still debating the nature of the whole thing in the exact same way they were 2-3-4-5 years ago. The same people are waiting to be convinced. The same people are trying to convince them.

This strikes me as a complete and utter waste of calories. I'd rather let people believe what they want. Me convincing them won't help anyone. They're not going to convince me of anything. My attitude is - crypto is here. You may as well sit back and see what happens as nothing I do, say or listen to will change it.

Are you still embroiled in debates with friends and internet creeps or have you let it slide?

if i ever got caught in crypto related topic i do not go embroiled in debates i calmly explained to them
what i know and what they do not know
if they do not need my attention i just chose to let it slide specially if this group of people have selective judgement and close minded in crypto.
