161  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: January 30, 2021, 05:19:56 AM
This is not a good law.

I know that you are just talking about it so you could help those that really need it. The flaw in your proposition is that most of the poor people are not even trying to make a way so that they could be successful one day. If you will just give the poor the money of the rich people, don't you think that it is just unfair and people would just rely on that help?
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: January 30, 2021, 04:54:33 AM
I think it will reach $50K earlier this year.

There are a lot of reasons for it to pump and the most obvious reason is that there are a lot of new investors that are waiting for the price to fall to reinvest and another one is that there are a lot of platforms that will adopt cryptocurrencies. I think if we will be having a great year, it might be higher than $50K or is this the road to $100K?
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2021, 03:31:27 PM
You can go both ways, right?

I am not talking about forgetting Bitcoin but holding your Bitcoin in your wallet, check the prices if you want you can do some trades in your free time while still managing your own business. I don't think you would be having a problem when it comes to doing both of them since you can just check the price chart every now and then.

Exactly. In my view, it won’t be problem to have a job or business while doing Bitcoin at the same time. I think that you should treat Bitcoin as some kind of investment rather than looking at it as as income generator. And I think that if you do both, there will be more opportunities and profit you could get. Just remember to check prices every once in a while, be clever in making decisions and use portion of profit in expanding your business.

More opportunities are really better.

If you will just be depending on one of them, you might regret not risking them in the near future. Having both of them does not just give you more chance of earning a profit but also because it gives you time to think about investing and it might open new opportunities to your business and might add another source of profit.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: January 29, 2021, 02:43:42 PM
14 lose streak if I remember way back 2018. I won some amounts before hitting that losing streak. I manage to double my capital that time but greediness won at that moment and in just a few seconds my bankroll becomes 0. I even attempted to recover it but ended in a failure. I feel very bad that time thinking that if I did not get greedy maybe I could buy something I want for myself.

Wow, that is a long streak.

I've been doing some auto bets in the past and as far as I know, the longest I have is that 7, or 8 streaks. That bet is also doubling up every time I lost so that is a huge amount when I was already taken back what I've lost. It is not that much of a bet but I think if those losses continue for more than two rolls, I will be emptying my funds.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 29, 2021, 01:43:14 PM
I have a dream of winning Lottery since i was in college because this is the fastest way to be rich and attain all my goal in terms of financial ways.

But now that i have Heart problem , and after reading this thread? i think that i may avoid betting now , maybe i will change path in gambling and may stay in online betting , at least Jackpot here wont make me so much happy compared to what i can take in Lottery jackpot.

I am thinking the same.

Even though my parents are strict about gambling, I worked myself to bet online and I thought that I could make myself rich and prove something to them but as I grew up, I knew it won't happen but in terms of your health, does it affect you when you bet with small bets? Having a heart problem is really problematic especially online where a lot of prank or meme videos are so popiular.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 29, 2021, 01:17:23 PM
Now let's look at some quote taken from google :
Quote
There is a lot of gambling in Thailand. An estimated 70 percent of adults gamble regularly, and the total value added involved is huge—possibly over 200 billion baht a year. With some small exceptions, all of this gambling activity is illegal.
-snip
70 percent of thai adults?  Shocked Wow that's a really high rate! What's your exact source for those figures please?
It implies that most of thaï women are regular gamblers too. That's crazy!
I doubt it's up that percentage. Even the safe bettors who bet regularly would not be upto that percentage atall, not to talk of 70% of the country's adult population engage in very risk bettings. It's possible that number of people who bet occasionally in the country is up to that percentage though. Calling 70% of the adults gamblers (gamblers in betting) is likely an exaggeration

To be honest I am also surprised by these numbers.

70% is a huge percentage of a country and even though we are talking about the adult gamblers, that is still a huge percentage. Despite that, there are also a lot of people that know a lottery in a country and almost all of the people knew about it. When you say lotto to the people, they will immediately know what you are talking about. That is why despite me getting surprised by that, I know that is true.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 01:13:10 PM
This is much easier in the past.

I am not saying about what we are doing because it is still the same in the past. What I am saying is identifying a great project and also, most of that cryptocurrencies right now are so popular or successful. These days, there is a lot of competition so you never know which is which. Also, there are these scam projects that go around.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there nobody talking about DOGE? on: January 29, 2021, 12:11:02 PM
I am also surprised by this movement.

My friend usually buys Dogecoin not because he wants to hold it but because he wanted to use it to bet. Lately, he can't bet using those that are the reason why it is stuck in his account for some months now and now, he's been so happy seeing the price of it so high. I don't know what he plans now but I guess he will be starting to stop using them to gamble.
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 29, 2021, 12:06:45 PM
This is hard but possible to get a lot of money by trading, but for achieve a good wealth one have to learn all trading situations and learn the market mood.
You also need to get a bigger capital if you want to get rich quick but always know that you should be a good trader before putting in a lot of capital. I do agree it is hard but if you are determined to do something, you can achieve it, sure there are some that have the natural talent for it but you do not have to compare yourself to them because life is not a race does not matter when you start, what matters is that you start and finish.

It is true, your capital was your main concern when it comes to trading but of course before you make a precise decisionnof entering trading make sure that you have already equipped with such knowledge that may guide you through your journey in trading. It is a total kind of risk that every trader are enduring and surpassing to be able to get a profit. But despite of the risks we can't deny that the possibilities of getting rich via trading were possible.

Capital is one of your main concern, that is so true.

If you can't afford to lose your funds in trading, better make your decision. Profit is doable in this market but that does mean that losing your money is also a possibility. You can't be sure when will the pump or dump will happen that is why you really need to take the risk. I am not saying that you should not invest or trade, all I am saying is that you should be prepared.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 29, 2021, 11:28:27 AM
Trading is better for me.

I know that investing also gives a good profit in time but trading gives more chances to earn a profit. For starters, I would recommend investing so they could also look at the price changes that are happening over time. If they can adjust and learn things about trading, they could start at low price and slowly increase the funds they are using.

If you are looking for highest gain then trading is fit to you but it includes risk that you can lost all your balance or half of it for choosing a wrong currency to buy . other investment can give only small interest but it is secured compared go trading that you are actually gambling your money just for the reason that you want to gain more.

If you want to earn, you need to take those risks.

I know that the price of Bitcoin is having those times of great increases but I don't think we should always depend on it or take it for granted because you will never know how long will it lasts and when it will go up. You need to take those risks in order to get a profit, that is the reason why most of the people here would usually say that use the money you can afford to lose.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 29, 2021, 11:24:58 AM
I feel sorry for them, I can't imagine how it feels when I should enjoy the money but the good have another way. And maybe this is a proof that heart disease will not only take someone's life in a sad state, but he can take someone's life in a happy state. I can't imagine how much money that they spend to buy some tickets for the lottery game, and face many situations when he didn't win the lottery. However, I always have a principle in myself, especially when gambling, make gambling only as entertainment, nothing more than that. So as I can control myself when faced with any situation and I will stay calm.
It's really very hard to control emotions when it comes as a huge surprise with an amount you can't even comprehend! Human anatomy is indeed so complex, heart doesn't even know that it should stay happy, it just feels too excited and it gets stopped without thinking its consequences lmao. Even if we imagine gambling as an entertaining thing only, when we hit a jackpot, we forget that it's entertainment and we feel like we are the ruler of the universe! Tongue

Most of the gamblers can't control their emotions.

There are a lot of gamblers out there that win or lose can't control themselves. If they are losing, they will try to chase or run after those losses and usually, ends up with more losses. When gamblers win, most of the time, they celebrate so much that those wins can't even cover the expenditures of that celebration. We really need to control ourselves in times in situations like these.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 29, 2021, 11:10:27 AM
I noticed that a fight like this is commonly happening nowadays, a mismatch fighting or a different field of fighters will be in one ring so the other would take advantage for sure this would be just for money or for charity, hoping that the prizes would be going to charity if that so then I would support this fight. I don't know both fighters so I will not support them if that would not be for charity.

I don't think they are planning anything like that.

This is purely a match and the benefits will be taken by these two "boxers" the same with the producers and "business managers" of this fight. I don't like these kinds of matches where a "boxer" would just fight anyone who he wanted to fight. Is this how easy it is to earn money right now? Still, hoping they would be sending some funds to a charity they will be choosing.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 28, 2021, 01:13:37 PM
I want Ben Askren to win here.

I am not getting salty about Jake Paul's record here or the fact that he's fighting an MMA Fighter well known for his grappling and wrestling skills. I just wanted to see the look at Jake Paul's face when he was knocked out or lose in this match. He's been so confident in the past months because of the knockout that he made but I think someone will sweep his smirk out of his face in the near future.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy more Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 12:08:16 PM
I think this is just a breather.

The price will eventually go up, we just need time. The price rose so quickly to $40K and I don't think that it will just go straight to $50K knowing that there are a lot of people that took advantage of the price to sell some of their holdings. If the price go lower, I think more and more people will go in making the price reach at more than $60K.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: January 28, 2021, 11:47:40 AM
https://www.fr24news.com/a/2021/01/analysts-say-bitcoin-price-drop-to-30k-was-healthy-and-necessary.html

Analysts say Bitcoin price drop to $ 30K was ‘healthy and necessary’

When people buy at ATH, they usually hold it till next ATH. This way we get more holders and bitcoin price gets support level.
Also when price fall after ATH, people start buying in the hope of making some profit during next ATH.

This depends on that holder.

The price won't always be breaking or creating another ATH every month or every week. That means that when they will be investing during the ATH, that means there is a high chance that it will go down. Some people selling or maybe a correction happened where they could buy or reinvest. Saying that, it means that falling down is just good as going up.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 28, 2021, 10:00:15 AM
I just hope they could use Bitcoin.

There are a lot of countries that also banned the use of Bitcoin. Another thing is that despite the country not against Bitcoin sometimes legalized Bitcoin, some citizens don't use it because of the fact that they think that it is as scam or most of the time they don't care. I just hope more and more people would use Bitcoin so its popularity would reach even those poor people.
177  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 28, 2021, 09:56:52 AM
I would really love to save some Bitcoins.

Since the price of Bitcoin is quite unpredictable right now, I think it is best to wait for some time and look at the price chart. Maybe look at the identifiers so you would know what to do in certain situations. If you feel that the price is going low, you should be wary of the price changes and mark a price where you could reinvest.

Saving is good enough when we don't really have to spend btc on our daily living, its just unfortunate when there's a need to convert your digital asset to fiat so you need to sell. You had no choice because by the time you waited for the price to grow while holding, price won't move up when it's not in perfect time. Accumulating our remaining balances could be done through buy and sell during active market, but needed skills to do it.

We don't have a choice though.

To get that profit, we convert them into fiat. But you don't need to take it as a profit but another capital to reinvest in the next good wave. If you don't need to use your funds for other purposes, you could just hold them so you could increase your potential profit in the future. It is risky to invest but if we will not be taking a risk, we won't make a profit.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 28, 2021, 08:28:48 AM
It is not a suggestion or a recommendation but just a tip.

There are a lot of members here that wear their signatures of a gambling site. If you want to check trusted gambling sites, most of them are worn and their campaigns started for a long time now. There are a lot of them so you could just check them out and try some of them or maybe deposit on the site that you are comfortable to play to.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 28, 2021, 06:56:53 AM
That's a real mega jackpot and I can't imagine myself on that situation, I guess he's the lucky guy this year and I wish him the best and enjoy spending that money. Big jackpots attracts many bettors, and I hope that this is not a joke just to say someone won but in reality, that was just part of the game. Looks like 2021 is the real life changing, more good news to come hopefully.

That is mostly the reason why they bet in these lotteries.

They are aiming to be able to win that huge amount despite the fact that the chances or the possibility of them winning that millions or even billions of the price are so low it is close to zero. I just hope that these multiple wins in the lottery mean that this year will be a prosperous and a lucky one compared to the recent year.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 28, 2021, 05:54:51 AM
So, did they still get their prize? I mean did their family get it? Or is there another beneficiary of that win when that happens?
Well, I guess their heirs inherited the winnings. I don't think anyone else could inherit the money and there is no reason for a game organizer to deny a win.

Still, that is a bummer.

The fact that you put your money into these lottery tickets for years is to be able to win this huge amount of money but then this happened. Instead of them getting the money from the game organizers, they will still prove that they are the son or the heir or maybe the relative of the deceased lottery winner, or should I say lottery millionaire.
