Let me rephrase that.

When a crossover occurs, the way the bot currently works is that you need to hit Threshold 1 and then hit Threshold 2 in order for the bot to either Buy or Sell.

My question is, is it possible to setup the bot in such a way that it will initiate a Buy or Sell when it only hits 1 Threshold (instead of two consecutively). I realize that this is risky since it could buy or sell when there isn't a trend, I was just wondering if it was possible.

Additionally, if I wanted to be really aggressive and and buy and sell very close to the crossover, could I do something like, Buy 1 11 Buy 2 12 and same for Sell? Or would doing this trigger on non crossovers? Sorry, I'm just trying to get a better handle on how the bot works in respect to crossover actions.

If you could explain in plain detail why this didnt sell after looking at that chart, please let me know. I'm still learning = )

So, I'm wondering, why didn't the bot sell?

Here is a screenshot http://imgur.com/AyPjm93

It seems like it should have sold, am I incorrect in that assumption? For example when I saved all my changes whatever USD was in my account had bought because of the green arrow, so I'm confused as to why I didn't sell at the red arrow (even if it would ahve been at a loss)

Awesome, thanks. I've got everything up and running with the new version.

I LOVE the fact that I can specify an amount of BTC to keep untouched. Allows me to run this in a quasi simulated mode so I can tweak my settings before putting it all on the line = )

Thanks a bunch! I'll let you know if I have any issues.

hey there, just letting you know that I haven't seen this yet.

Hey there, I just threw in my share and grabbed your setup.

It says I'm using 0.2.7. Is this the latest? And if not, would it be possible for me to get the beta as well?

Thanks!

Hi Dresden Smiley,
We will be sending you a copy of the Beta shortly, please let me know if you do not receive it within an hour or two.

Pablo.

Awesome thanks!

Btw, I think i've got the concept down, but I need more volatility so I can at least see this execute a few trades so I can fully understand the whole Buy 1/Buy 2 phase and Sell 1/Sell 2 phase. In general though I am seeing so much truth in volume transfer at 10/21 crossovers in bitcoing and nearly every other stock out there that its kind of like, wow, why have I never seen this before?

I'm willing to ship worldwide if you can bid on the item. I didn't realize I only had US selected for shipping when I setup the auction, and I can't change that after the fact now.

The auction has about 7 and a half hours left. If you end up being the winner and can prove to me your identity as the high bidder somehow I'll just mark it as shipped and ship to your destination of choice.

Thanks for the kind words! Without fiddling with anything I can get 700 mhash/s out of this card with cgminer, I'm 100% sure it can mine faster if time is taken to find the best settings for the card, given the right temperature environment.

Hello There,

I am selling a used HIS 6990 AMD card. As many of you know, the stock fan on this thing was a loud and angry beast, but that has been replaced by one of the aftermarket Accelero Twin Turbo heatsink/fan combos.

I typically get near 700 mhash/s out of this thing and I'm sure that it does well with LTC as well.

I'm selling because I live in CA and it's just getting to be too expensive to run.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Card was working today without issue.

For some reason when I open up cgminer, I get greeted with the error message:
ADL found less devices than opencl!
There is possibly more than one display attached to a GPU.

I'm pretty confused with this because I haven't done anything that would cause this. The only thing that I've done today is add my second GPU into my rig. I've got 2 5850's running at the moment.
Anyone know why this is happening, and what I can do to stop it?

Secondly, for some reason there are no temps being shown in cgminer any more. Anyone know why this is, and how I can get them back? Kind of makes it difficult to monitor Wink

Out of curiosity, what is your monitor setup?

Sounds like that's it ...

I'll take a look at this today after work.

Is there a reason that the AMD SDK APP I'm trying to install isn't properly taking hold? It appears to install and go through the entire install process and report as success but it looks like its still not the right now. Would you recommend a particular SDK?

Additionally, this is what I'm seeing when I run the -n command.

The first snipped is the output from 2.10.3.

Code:

I ran this with the newest debug version of cgminer.exe and got the exact same results (minus the newly added USB support of course.)

Was wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot my cgminer.

As I've stated in another post, for whatever reason I am unable to mine with any version of CG Miner past 2.10.3. I'm able to mine without any issue whatsoever using 2.10.3. But starting at 2.10.4 and onward, CG Miner just stops running shortly after it probes for an alive pool.

This is the command line I'm using: (same command line works perfectly with 2.10.3)

Code:
@echo off
TIMEOUT 60

Lastly, I installed Dr Mingw debugger and this is the output text from cgminer when it crashes:

178  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / [Help] 6990 Won't Mine with CGMiner Past Version 2.10.3 on: April 03, 2013, 07:23:45 PM
So, I can successfully mine with my 6990 card using CG Miner version 2.10.3, but anything past this version of CG Miner just fails right before initializing the card for mining.

Card Info - HIS H699F4G4M Radeon HD 6990 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161366

Driver Info - AMD Catalyst™ 13.2 Beta Driver - http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/amdcatalyst132betadriver.aspx

OS - Windows 8 Pro

Since this card is a little bit older, should I be using an older more stable version of the AMD Catalyst driver, or will that result resurfacing old issues that the newer drivers have fixed?

Additionally, in the same vein I'm unable to do any --scrypt mining with any version of cgminer using my current driver setup because CGMiner fails right before mining starts.

By fails I mean it brings up the generic windows, "An unexpected error has occurred." dialog and CGMiner closes.

I'll try to update this thread later with my actual command line from my batch file, but I'm fairly certain that's not causing any issues.

No, I am on a plane to Chicago at the moment, somewhere over Colorado I think.

I've got a load of chips in my bag and I'm heading to the assembly house to have them mounted on the boards and I should be back in KC tomorrow afternoon/evening time with some boards.

Discuss.

Oh man, those charts are sexy. I like = )
